Xclusif Oud Classic

#1458 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I blind bought this and it turns out to indeed be pretty much same-same as Al Haramain "Amber Oud Gold Edition." This is an Eau de Parfum, not an "Extrait" as one reviewer wrote. Thi is one of my all time favorites from Al Haramain. There are a dozen scents out there in this category, and they all seem to be in the $40-50 range with a minor note variation hear and there. But this is as good as any if you don't already have something like it. Just a teensy bit greener than the Al Haramain. Not similar to Erba Pura which is not woody at all. But I will say Orientica already did this with Orientica Premium "Royal Amber." So I have to deduct points for what is clearly just rebranding of the same scent. I give points back for an easy-to-store rectangular bottle instead of those embarrassing mesh net bottles.But I deduct those points for another bulky and unrecyclable plastic presentation case. Car pool, elevator and tight office safe. Good for any environment. Masculine all the way. I think this a nice high quality scent at a fair price and every guy should have something like it on the shelf.

I had never tried Erba Pura DNA before this one. It smells fantastic, but strange. It kind of puts me in mind of a more summer wearable version of Riffs Momento. It falls into that WTF am I smelling category that BR540, Oud Maracuja, and Arabians Tonka also fall into. It's a strange one to my nose, but it's great. It's fruity, fresh, and musky wonderfulness.

For the person thinking it was similar to al Haramain's amber oud gold. It is the same exact liquid. Made by the same company in the same factory. They just put a different label on it. Al haramain owns Orientica. I recently bought the Orientica bleu bc I like Layton and I already had the sport (kalan) and I have amber Dubai by al Haramain (similar to LV imagination but a bit stronger)

Hmm looks like an Erba Pura clone by the notes. I'd pass for myself, but it's probably nice for a woman.

Smells like Orientica Royal Amber though this one is extrait de parfum
