If you're an older gentleman from 32 and up you will love this I promise it's a 100% blind buy. It smells amazing to me I get baccarat rouge or a much better projecting untold, it's stronger and lasts. To me I love it like I love layton, smells nothing like Layton but the way it hits me I love it like I love Layton if that makes sense. I can't say anything about kalan because I never smelled it. I also layered it with Versace eros edp and omg wow!!! If you are a mature man buy it!!!! I promise you will be like wow!!!! I highly recommend it. If you get this and don't like it you definitely got ahold of a bad batch .

I just purchased this because I got the orientica royal bleu and it was so amazing I said I'm trying all of these and I have to say this one is very strange to me at first smell it's amazing then I get a funky rotten smell and it last about ten minutes but it fades away then smells good again it's confusing. Now as I'm wearing it I keep getting a blast of a good smell and it seems to be getting better and better now it smells good not amazing or wow like the royal blue but it is wearable I think I will let this sit for awhile and hope for the best I think in time it could end up being a banger.

#1383 in my "Tour de Fragrance" "Sport" is usually what they call the watered-down flanker. But while this is not particularly impressive potency, it doesn't come across as watered down, but It does come across like an EDT. I get the similarity to PDM "Kalan" and it's clones, but this could as easily be another flanker in Jacques Bogart's "Silver Scent" series, or Reyane Tradition"s "Insurrection" series. It's just pleasant and fruity, lotsa lavender. Mostly reminds me of Mrs. Meyer's Lavender Laundry Detergent. Basically an average Summer scent to throw on as you leave the gym. It's only $30, but a $20 bottle of Mont Blanc "Presence" or $15 bottle of Nautica would do just as well.

Scent: Very good scent. It's delicious smelling and sweet. You get hit with a blast of sweetness immediately after spraying. The orange, cypress, tonka, oakmoss, and amber are the main players here. That's basically what you're gonna get throughout the life of the fragrance, at least to my nose. The thing that I like about it is that you smell the cypress and oakmoss, which give it a nice masculine touch. I've never smelled BR 540 at all, but I'm familiar with some of the clones it has. So if those clones are cloning BR540, then this leans pretty close to BR540. Great Scent overall and pretty unisex in my opinion. Performance: Now, this is where the fragrance really disappointed me. The fragrance is at best average. The Longevity is average before it turns into a skin scent. I got about 6hrs. Projection is below average. It projects decently for like 30mins-1hr, but it's a soft Projection. The sillage was like 30mins as well. Not good for an "Extrait de Parfum". Now, that could also be the reason why it really doesn't project or is strong, since it has a higher oil concentration. Seasons: Spring, Summer, and Fall scent in my opinion.

Haven't tried kalan before however I have an idea of what it smells like, that scent is known for a prominent blood orange. That for sure isn't very present here, so I suppose think of kalan just drop the prominent orange note and this is what you get, I suppose.. a more masculine leaning version, this is a super unique DNA, quite mature in my opinion, not blind buy safe unless you enjoy oakmoss and the br540 dna (not super similar to br540 by the way) just in that same family but far more complex. Longevity is good, projection for me just has been low, sits close to the skin but last for a long time

this used to be amber oud exclusif sport maybe? if it is, it's pretty identical to Kalan
