Sara Bleu

I've found my favourite coconut perfume. I adore coconut as a note, but I have not found a commercial coconut fragrance that doesn't smell like a beach scent, until I came across this. I have been blending a coconut fragrance oil that I've purchased directly from a fragrance oil producer, as I do not like most coconut perfumes, including alien goddess, bronze goddess, etc. This is a perfect introduction to middle eastern fragrances and it's the perfect coconut fragrance for all seasons (not just the summer). It's creamy, fruity, and woody. The florals are in the background and very well blended. The performance is great as well. It's overall very sweet and lactonic - I love that the fig note here isn't green and earthy. It's like a fantasy fig note that I absolutely adore. This is not a dupe for anything - I've never smelt anything like this before. I got a huge 100ml bottle for £16 at a fragrance shop called beauty base here in London. I sniffed through all their middle eastern fragrances on a hot summer day, and this one really stood out to me. I saw it on offer at orientica's website for £7.50 and am wondering if it's being discontinued - I need a backup bottle of this as I never want to be without it! Gorgeous fragrance, in a hideous bottle.

The opening surprised me with a sweet note, but not a vanilla one—most likely fig. After several minutes, the scent evolved, revealing coconut-vanilla tones. Very calm, not summery, somehow balanced and harmonious. This is not the scent of the sea, beach, and vacation, but rather a reminiscence of a serene evening wrapped in warm aromas that provide a sense of security, relaxation, and peace. Modest sillage but all-day longevity.

My friend who introduced me to the perfume oils that Orientica do told me she was going to place an order and did I want to add anything. I took a look at the website and blind bought this one. I tell you, it surpassed expectations. Sara Bleu is an easy reach, tropical fragrance that I would reach for during most months. I didn't wear this in winter, but I adored it otherwise. I received compliments wearing this and it made me feel good. I'm fairly sure I'll be buying another bottle

On me, first spray I get a pale rose. There is something sweet behind the rose but I'm not sure if it's the fig or the coconut milk. The perfume doesn't smell like coconut, it smells like a creamy rose with some jasmine. The perfume stays that way for a while and then the vanilla starts shining through, anchored by sandalwood. For me, this is a mildly spicy, milky vanilla with some pleasant rose at the end. It lasts quite a while on my skin, 10+ hours, and was under $20.

I found gourmand, where I wasn't looking for it. And it's still yummy in an unobvious way. I love it. Would lick my skin off if I could... but it would probably not taste like Loukhoum with coconut cream.

This one is better than the OG Sara IMO! A little artificial, but sweet and yummy nonetheless. Edit: it's not better than the OG. I don't like it anymore.

Notes all sound delicious - unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience any creaminess this fragrance promise to offers. First spray, super synthetic fluid opening that takes hours until it dries down. Left with screechy notes in the opening, that I can’t distinguish, that never softens. Later, sharp fruity fig and sharp sandalwood. I don’t know but I feel the ‘Jasmine’ is very dirty or It’s the ‘rose’ in this smells super synthetic or something from decades ago, no creamy coconut, vanilla can’t be found. This perfume never dies, could still smell on my sleeve hem days after. There is nothing gourmandy on my skin. Had High hopes.
