Eclat Amour

I like this one but it’s definitely not what I expected at all. I’ve watched reviews about this perfume and they all said that it was super sweet and when i saw the notes and the price I immediately ordered it. It is actually sweet but it’s no where near a gourmand. this smells elegant and a bit vintage with lots and lots of violet and iris which makes it super powdery but the pear and the raspberry give it the sweet tartness. if you don’t like vintage smelling perfumes or if you don’t like iris and violet then stay away from this one cause I think these are the strongest notes here and then in the back ground you can smell the raspberry and pear but it’s not that sweet sweet ripe raspberry and pear, it’s more on the sour side with a bit of sweetness. The longevity was okay I think 5-6 hours on clothes and on skin 2-3 hours and as for the sillage it was pretty good I was sitting with my brother and then when I left he came back and asked me what’s that nice flowery smell you have on😅 Overall i give it a 7/10

It starts off fruity at the beginning with a punch of sweetness and then transforms into a mixture of fresh fruits and flowers within an hour. after two hours (very quickly in my opinion), it becomes a delicate skin scent. its fine for daily wear in spring or summer. dont expect anything special tho. i imagined it to smell just like what it becomes at the end as a skin scent from first spritz on, but alas... :) not a risky blind buy, you can pick up with confidence if you come across at a good discount. i can envision it sitting classy over the white shirt/blouse on a sunny day. i was expecting kind of a clean, pink, flowery romantic perfume, like a wedding perfume you know; the fruity start ruined it for me. it is also a very generic kind if you are familiar with avarange cost range of oriflame perfumes.

Noticing lots of flowery notes especially lily of the valley, fressia, and iris. Lil bit sweeter from pear & vanilla hint. Classic classy, better wear it lightly for an evening date. It stays better and longer on any fabric but not on your skin, good news for the person who loves to wear coats o/ cardigans like me. Like the perfume's name, amour, it represent simply love, modestly and warm.

This is a classy perfume, you can feel it`s good quality and smells more expensive than it is. I`m not a huge fan of this as I don`t usually go for classic, elegant perfumes but I do appreciate the quality of this. Surprised to see so few reviews so far as I can imagine this to have a good fan base with time.

This is so clean and fresh, very sweet but not overwhelming. Something you can wear daily in the office. Unfortunately not Long lasting as it's EDT and smell a little soapy after time.

From the whole Eclat family there is only one scent I love: Eclat Mon Parfum. All the other Eclats have an annoying drydown note I dislike. Eclat Amour does not have it, so that is somewhat positive for me, but it also lacks character, depth, sillage and intensity. It is like a weak sketch for Eclat Mon Parfum - the idea was developed there beautifully, here just some flowery-powdery notes thrown one on another, without a real concept. The bottle with that big, plastic cap is also not very classy to me. It should be discontinued until 2022.

Smells like a tarte raspberry cheesecake, and sometimes like a lipstick reminding me of Juliette Has A Gun Lipstick Fever which actually has four notes in common with Eclat Amour like raspberry, cedarwood, violet, iris. It dries down florally, I can definitely smell Orris/Iris. I have been testing out samples of this here and there for months, and while wearing it, I got a whiff of something that totally reminded me of V Canto Stricnina - they are not the same, but they have a similar nuance of a tarte dessert, although Stricnina has a more intense and pungent smell of berries and fruits. I'm thinking of getting a bottle before it's discontinued cause I can't help but love the scent.

I have Eclat weekend and mon Eclat, which i love, but this one, although it smells lovely, it disappeared from me within minutes!

It smells like a flanker of La Vie est Belle, but this one is kinda... Fading?
