Eclat Mon Parfum

This is a very delicate powdery floral. I sense a lot of iris and it reminds me of Alaia Paris, although it is not exactly the same smell, that one is more opulent, this is more delicate. It lasts average and does not project. For me, it's the most exquisite Oriflame scent, doesn't have that Oriflame DNA that most of their perfumes seems to have and it's a step forward for them. I have a purse spray and I plan on buying the big bottle

What a beautiful, elegant, soft powdery gem this is! It smells way more expensive than it actually is. I smell mostly almonds, iris and it is all mixed with a hint of pear that gives the whole composition a lightness and freshness. It is an all year round fragrance. Lasting power is quite good, projection is softer, it lingers close to skin. I am so loving it right now!

I would say it's finally some really nice floral with almost no sweetness to it, who are those people calling it "sweet"? Very subtle, lasting power is HIGHER than I would expect for such fragrance It is somewhat similar to the original Eclat which is now discontinued :( It also reminds Cashmere Beige by M-INT quite a lot, same scent profile

What surprised me is the longevity...this is my most long lasting spring fragrance. It lasts about 12 hours on my skin!

I smelled this perfume on a middle aged woman and it was perfection, it suited her so well, a creamy powdery soft white floral perfume with a beautiful projection like an aura and not an offensive in-your-face blast. It didn't smell overly sweet, it was just perfection: a classy beauty in a bottle. So of course,I asked her about it and I ordered it. And it is indeed beautiful, just not the absolute perfection I smelled on that lady. On me it brings a note of second-class sweetness (the same identical generic sweetness that comes with all oriflame perfumes), and that weird generic sweet note keeps it from being the classy, top notch perfume I smelled on that lady. As I bought it on a great sale price, now I wonder whether there is a chance that the perfumes on sale every now and then on oriflame are less perfected batches perhaps, that some how aren't exactly as good as the original version of the perfume?who knows.. Perhaps it is my body chemistry, perhaps it is a hormone age thing as I am in my late thirties and she was in her late forties or early fifties... who knows? But it isn't just that I reckon, because I detect that same generic sweet note on all oriflame perfumes even tested on paper (not necessarily on my skin- so it can't be just a chemistry-skin issue). Anyway, to sum it up this is a really beautiful perfume, there is just that something that keeps it from being perfect, which made me give it a 'like' reaction here on fragrantica (a strong like though) instead of a 'love' one, but -oh- it's so close... Edit: this one is a close dupe for Mugler aura (aura being a bit better obviously but still,a very very close dupe!)

This was a blind buy for me because it was discounted to only €10, and I thought, why not? But when I first got it, I was genuinely shocked. The same thing happened to me with another Oriflame perfume, Volare — I honestly thought both of them had gone bad. The opening smelled horrendous to me. It instantly transported me back to a middle school girls’ locker room after PE class. There was this strong scent of alcohol-based cucumber facial toner we used for acne, mixed with a sour sweaty smell that someone had tried to cover up with cheap perfume. But once it settled, it was actually really nice. Now that I’ve had it for over a year, it finally smells the way it’s supposed to. I can clearly pick up the juicy pear in the opening, and in the dry down it turns into a delicate, fresh, powdery floral. I don’t find it sweet at all. I also don’t understand the “grandma perfume” descriptions people give it — if anything, I find it very youthful.

I think Mon Eclat took some inspiration from Mon Guerlain. It is not a dupe, though, surely not. Smell like vanilla rise pudding with florals. I mean that in a good way. A chic and elegant orris accord with soft breezy vanilla. Moderate longevity and sillage. If you own Mon Guerlain, you don't need this. If you own this, you need Mon Guerlain.

This looks like soft powdery heaven to me. Very promising.

The pink pepper or pear idk who of them responsible for this screechy scent is very noticeable and domenent over the rest of ingredients, which according to the perfume pyramid here its supposed to be all powdery iris and almond?! Non of them is in your face just some flowery old sent i used to smell in adult lwomen, its cheap style , very disappointed amells like all avon and oriflame Scents

Seeing the promising ingredients, I purchased it blind, and I shouldn't have. This the most boring, lifeless fragrance I have smelled in months. It does smell cold from the orris note, however, this is not enough to give this scent a character or to make it feel at least elegant enough. I don't see why anyone would love this scent, it is plainness in a pretty bottle.

This is mainly floral and musky. elegant but not unique. I always smell similar fragrances here and there. It is for mature women not young girls.

I do get all the notes used in this fragrance and that's something I've recognized in Cooperman's fragrances. It smells blended with precision and of good quality, with all the notes working perfectly well together to create a really great purple floral fragrance. It's not nearly as powdery as L'Instant Magic. This actually has quite a bit of ozonic notes in it from the violet leaf, along with strong violet florals and iris florals. I notice the almond but it's not as strong as the florals. Reminds me of The Favourite by Penhaligons.

I'm looking at these notes and already thinking noooo i've been so good! I can't fall in love again and buy MORE perfume...can I? :) Of course i love this. Not the niche type of orris but, a gentle, powedry, feminine floral that is just luxurious. Creamy, musky, no one note stands out really I dont get almonds it feels fruity if anything. I guess the pear but not dominant pear note either. It's just a beautiful well blended soft easy reach easy wear perfume. I'm going to do my best to resist buying a bottle!

This is a likeable powdery scent. Lots of powdery perfumes lean grandma to me, however this one doesn’t. There is a persistent green facet in the dry down. I struggled sensing sweetness here, but I actually do notice the pear note which makes the fragrance fresher. Almonds are noticeable too, but this won’t be a gourmand type of almond note. I wouldn’t repurchase it for myself, but I acknowledge this as an elegant modern take on a powdery perfume. The bottle is exquisite.
