Eclat Style

Got my bottle for a discounted price, a great value for $25. The smell is not superb and versatile but great for evenings and fall/winter season. The sillage is not that of a beast mode but longevity wise it is a beast, lasts all day long, I apply 3 or 4 sprays and my nose picks the scent up to midnight (when I go to bed). It's rich, ambery, a bit sweet and leathery. I cannot wear it everyday though but it's great to wear once or twice a week. It's not as "noisy" as Dior Sauvage, it's rather mild, mellow and gives you a sense of comfort and cozyness. I am 39 y/o and it perfectly suits my age. Overall, great value perfume for its price. Highly recommend it!

Eclat Style by Oriflame brings back so many memories of my college days. I absolutely love this perfume and know it’s something I’ll keep forever. The scent is incredibly addictive, warm, masculine, and undeniably attractive. It really shines during winter and spring, where its character feels even more appealing. Honestly, this fragrance is such an underrated gem and deserves so much more recognition.

Got it today and it smells like Be The Legend EDT with strong sillage and last all day. Very intensive. The first Oriflame parfum for men. Leather and something like tonka bean or lavender I think. Very impressive.A classic bottle with leather on the cap. Made in Poland 🇵🇱.

Blind bought due to my favorite perfumer Alienor Massenet being listed for this one (along with Emilie Coppermann). This starts with a faint citrus and apple effect, and then quickly the core of the fragrance takes center stage. This core is fundamentally leather, and a pretty dark one at that, lightened by a leathery orris (I hate to use leathery as an adjective but it is one of those types of orris notes, not powdery or waxy or lipstick-like, but leathery in the same way natural ylang ylang oils have a leathery feel). The leather is strong, it smells very similar to the leather in CH Saffron Lazuli (especially as they share that leathery orris note) minus the saffron. I have to revisit it but it recalls the leather in Tuscan Leather as well, although much less fruity. There are some notes on the periphery in the heart, something like stewed apple, a powdered chocolate effect, a slightly smoky vetiver and an ethereal cardamom, but due to the way it is blended they don't really feel like separate notes as much as facets of the leather accord. While it doesn't smell all that similar, it calls to mind scents like Prada Amber PH and Vince Camuto Eterno as far as overall "feel" and seems appropriate for similar situations and moods - when you want to smell fresh and elegant and are in the mood for a scent that is texturally smooth and comforting. Initial impressions are this would be best either in spring or on one of those winter days where there's snow on the ground but it's not cold or windy, but instead calm and silent. A surprisingly leather-forward scent for such an inexpensive fragrance that is also surprisingly elegant and distinguished. Part of me wishes it had more spices and sweetness and just overall heft in the base, but the lightness here actually makes it more interesting and unique, especially as most niche scents are going to be heavier and richer and thus suited to different seasons and moods.

For an unassuming bottle, this frag smells superb. It has depth and complexity that I've always looked for without being too heavy nor overpowering. This scent is safe to wear in the day time. I am not a perfume expert so I can't tell what notes go and what's not, but it smells like some oud and citrus too (it's not in the notes list, I know). Headnotes to dry down are about the same? I have a citrusy opening that stays in the skin even after a while that blends with that aromatic woodsy notes. Bad sillage and staying power though. I can only smell it on my skin when I sniff it. So maybe spraying a little more generously? And repeatedly if you want to keep the scent on you through the day. All in all, I still like it and will gladly keep the sample that I have.

Oriental, like any other arabian copy of leather perfume. Most pleasant from all Oriflame collection. Lasts on the skin for 2 hours maximum, after which you need to reapply.

This is the worst fragrance i ever smell. disgusting heavy synthetic leather mix with synthetic iris. but there is people who like this. definitely not for me.

Got my bottle today. This is one of the few Oriflame perfumes I’m not disappointed with. The description and notes do it complete justice. It’s animalic, leathery and infused with amber. Lasts at least 4-5 hours pretty well with adequate projection. In fact, I think the EDP classification does it justice. This is unlike every other Oriflame Fragrance I’ve used, and I’ve used many, which vanish off my skin in an hour or so. Highly recommended for fall/ winter.

This used to be a simple bold leather Eau de Parfum. Nothing creative or new still nice. Discontinued any more.
