Intense Oud

Sweet, warm, mild, powdery. A tiny bit of white chocolate although that's not listed. Unisex without being girly. Lasts for five hours on me before becoming a skin scent with no real projection. Quite good performance but I initially thought it was weak. I was wrong. I've now given it a number of wearings and the performance lacks nothing. It's just not a powerhouse I'd tuned myself to expect after a few months with wonderful middle Eastern oud based fare. Not at all skanky. Very civilised and a very pleasant and sensual scent for dates and close encounters. Suits cold evenings perfectly. Similar in feel to Ard Al Zaafaran Oudi but more rounded and smooth.

Oriflame is known to sometimes offer very fine quality fragrances. As a common baseline, usually all fragrances are inexpensive and offer a high value for money ratio. Intense Oud for men it's a good example of it. It opens too sweet for may taste with a tiny bit of grapefruit and saffron, and a lot of rosewood. This sweetness hangs around for 15 minutes or so and then loses its initial strength. The heart is very well blended with identifiable smoky guaiac & vetiver. The base it's all about sweet and warm agarwood. The oud is neither fecal nor medicinal. It's a sweet non offensive oud scent that we may find as well in other western and eastern fragrances. My major reference for this fragrance lies with "Oudi", a perfume proposed by Ard Al Zaafaran, where the rosewwod note is actualy substituted by rose. It has a minor synthetic vibe and performance is average. I may recommend this inexpensive and non offensive oud fragrance for oud beginners, but be aware of its initial sweetness.

Intense Oud by Oriflame is a woody perfume and, although its quality of ingredients is not of the best quality, it is very pleasant. For a very economical price (I got it from Notino) you can have a fragrance to be at home with a very cozy and calm aroma of many woods and grapefruit. For its price it is a quite acceptable male perfume. It doesn't have a wide sillares or an eternal longevity but it gives you a feeling of cleanliness and well-being. It was launched in 2018 by the Swedish cosmetics house Oriflame and they did a good job 👏 I am very happy with the purchase.
