Lady Avebury

I believe that this one was discontinued in some countries. I remember not liking it at first, thinking that it is another common, soapy like fragrance. But I was wrong, very wrong because it is exactly the opposite. I agree with one of the comments saying that it is unusual. I also remember that when ordering it, I asked myself how can someone create a perfume suitable for a "lady" (as in royal). Oriflame tried, not necessarily a successful, but a very appreciated try. Elegant, feminine, also very sensual, probably lady like. Very refined blend between citrus, leather and roses. The opening is fresh, crisp, the dry down becomes leathery, woody with a deep rose scent, that stays close to the skin for may hours. It is one of the most expensive perfume in Oriflame's range but it smells expensive. Really worth I try.

Very delicious! Really a good one. First citrus or something green and fresh, but sweetly, mouthwateringly sweet. Not cloying but tempting...you always want some more of it. And sexy, like watered down Gucci Rush :-) Elegant, really is, still sexy. Like a beautiful elegant woman in the garden of a castle, wearing suede high heel sandals, modern leather bag, and light coloured and trendy clothes. Just like Rihanna Rouge!!!!

I've just won a blog quiz from my best friend and this perfume is the giveaway present. Wow such elegant,charming,ladylike scent! The sillage stays close to your skin, the patchouli is discreet, the leather is also very soft...all in all a very balanced perfume, one of the best creation by Oriflame. No wonder they sell this for almost US$40 (Catalogue price).Very beautiful bottle too.

I see everyone is comparing this to Bottega Veneta, they are very close but Lady Avebury is a bit fresher then bottega, not as serious! I own & enjoy both! I guess I would prefer the lady during spring & summer & bottega can be my fall/winter scent!

Wonderfull! I am surprised how good it is. Absolutely classy fragrance. This is chypre floral for me.Reminds me a bit Coco Mademoiselle but this is more beautiful fresh daily scent. I like green tea note in it. I a m going to buy bottles.

Update: No this is not smilar Coco Mademoiselle I tested again they are different. Lady Avebury soft heavenly.I am smelling rose and green tea mostly. Mmm very very ladylike :)

How could i buy lady avebury? I really want it.

I received this perfume as a gift from a friend. Very feminine perfume but a bit too harsh for me on the skin (my skin has a tendency to turn almost all the perfumes in sharp and a bit heavy stenches so maybe this was just for me like this). I used it when I did not want to use anything else I had not like everyday scent. Worked quite well :)

This is beautiful and underrated. Classy, elegant, fresh and modern. On me this smells a lot like Bottega Veneta eau legere (the eau de toilette) but dare I say I think it's even nicer. A bit more green/citrus at the beginning, slight hint of a tea-like note, and it's MUCH longer lasting (on me anyway) - the BV disappears within the hour on me. And it's much cheaper. Result! Have a few backups of this in case it vanishes. Highly recommend!

Tried its sample.It's a romantic ,fresh and mature perfume.Nicely blended tea ,rose and woody notes.But there's also something that makes it a little bit salty.I don't know if it's the suede notes that give that impression.
