Love Potion Cherry on Top

First of all, I want to mention that I was skeptical about Oriflame perfumes—I’ve had some from this brand in the past that didn’t impress me. But when I tried this one, I was thrilled! It’s so addictive, so sexy, and I want to wear it all the time! It doesn’t smell cheap or juvenile at all. If you enjoy creamy, comforting cherry notes, you need to try this one. It’s also incredibly long-lasting. My husband absolutely loves this perfume on me—he even said it might be the best one in my entire collection (and I own perfumes from many brands, from YSL to INITIO).

All I get from this, is the lipstick note 😅😅 It comes through very strong, from the iniatial spray to the dry down. A weird scent in a way. I've never smelled anything like this before, (except for actual lipstick.) Either you hate or love it. I actually enjoy this very much 😍😍 Reminds me for some scent from the 80's, when I was a child.

Dream-like perfume for those who love cherry and lipstick scents. The opening is straight up orange-flavored Lost Cherry. As it develops, it turns into a creamy, cherry-flavored heliotropic lipstick scent. In the drydown, the chocolate truffle in the base becomes sweeter on the skin, but that lipsticky/balmy texture never fades. Even though the Love Potion line is designed as a gourmand series, I wouldn’t call this perfume entirely gourmand. The truffle and tonka add a chocolatey sweetness, but on my skin the lipstick feel is much more dominant. I’d describe this as a cherry lip balm effect. Slightly balsamic, slightly sweet, and very smooth. I don’t get any heaviness from it, and it doesn’t smell synthetic to my nose. If you’re into soft, powdery, close to skin scents and enjoy a cherry vibe, this one is a great option. It became an instant favorite from Oriflame for me. About the Lost Cherry comparison: LC is boozy and leans unisex, whereas Cherry on Top is powdery and feminine. I own both Lost Cherry and Cherry Smoke, and I still don’t see any reason not to buy a full bottle of Love Potion. Great quality for the price. Honestly surprising that it’s not popular yet.

The scent is nice and interesting. It is not an overly sweet, infantile cherry. You can feel the sweet cherry liqueur, but the lipstick accord mentioned in the notes gives an interesting accent - a bit powdery and creamy, some may find it artificial, but it distinguishes the composition. Then it is more tonka, i.e. quite sweet, but also dry - a bit of dark chocolate nicely softens this sweetness, probably these truffles. Peruvian balsam warms it all up nicely. Overall, the composition is intriguing and may be liked. In my opinion, unisex. Longevity is quite good by Oriflame standards because the scent stayed on the skin for over 6 hours. Unfortunately, the projection is close to the skin. It is a pity because it is a very pleasant scent and projects too intimately. The surroundings will probably not feel it. Similarity to Lost Cherry is slight. 7/10

opens up with a really sweet, syrupy cherry. after drying a little, you start sensing fresh rose and subtle lipstick. smells just the liquor Disaronno, not on the alcohol side but more on the sweet cherry side. the chocolate note is extremely subtle for me, but it's there. it was a blind buy for me and what attracted me the most was the lipstick note, although I'm not getting it a lot. I've never smelled Lost Cherry, so I can't compare, but I love how the rose eases a bit of the sweetness. overall, it surprised my expectations and I like it. I'd recommend if you like very very sweet fragrances.

Same as its predecessors, it smells nice but not exquisite, complicated or double-nuanced though by the price tag this is not an extreme cheapie anymore. You get straight to your face hard candy cherry scent with kind’a jelly cheap liquor filling. Scent from my childhood. This is coated in some tonka and balsamic note, also something wet powdery, I guess this is lipstick. Overall it’s ok to wear to do casual things like grocery shopping, attending a coffee shop or an outdoor market in winter season. Nothing too complex or breathtaking, just a usual oriflame style scent.

This is delicious on first blast - round, rich and sweet cherries - but it doesn’t sustain for long enough. I get maybe 60-90 minutes of this before it’s faded. While it’s here, it’s good. There’s a kind of silky spicy lipstick-y iris going on here, alongside the fruits. Lost Cherry is a superior perfume but, honestly, for the price, the Oriflame is a serious rival.

It's very similar to Maubossin Star Cherie (some notes are the same), but it's like a lighter version It has a very strong smell when it opens, but; after it dries, a subtle lipstick and chocolate scent emerges from underneath I don't need this perfume because I already own Star Cherie I later compared the two and this one definitely smells better.

estee lauder rouge-black cherry-powdery notes are powerful notes. red rose and pralin are light notes.not for everyone.for over 38s age.

A nice, affordable cherry perfume. It's good for what it is. The bottle reminds me of an enema.

Really strong dislike from me, it reminds me of a cherry air freshener that would be in a public restroom. I adore lipstick scents but don't get that accord in here at all. It also has a very medicinal quality. Not that similar to Lost Cherry imo.

I bought this perfume because of the positive reviews and I absolutely cannot stand it. This is one of the scents that I simply cannot stand on myself or on others. The perfume smells like medical syrup and not in a good way. It is quite strong, to me even a synthetic scent, which seems to stay on my skin for 10 hours and does not lose its intensity, so for those who like it, at least the longevity and projection are good. But this is definitely a heavy cherry scent, and the only one from this collection that I did not like at all.

Very pleasantly surprised - I have never sniffed Lost Cherry, so I can't compare, but this is definitely not a medicinal cherry or a juvenile one. To me it smells most of sweet cherry liqueur with some red lipstick. Not complex but also not cheap - I'd say it's a very nice day to fay, it can be smelled but it's not attacking the nose and is very pleasant. The hand cream smells even more lovely imo. And the price tag is great - longevity wise, the scent is long lasting. I recently watched Fallen Angels so this next part may be a bit biased, but there is a scene where the hitman's contractor/agent is at a bar listening to a seductive song on a jubox after drinking some liquor - this perfume to me smells like that character, but only is those scenes. I think she even wears a tight red dress at one point or in a poster and has red lipstick. Note that this is also my first ever cherry scent, so my picture is possibly related to the liquor type cherry scent as a whole, not just this one.

I blind bought this and I LOVE it immediately. I dont understand people saying they cant detect the cherry it is definitely a sweet cherry fragrance first and foremost. The cherry is sweet, and not medicinal, maybe paired with raspberry or some other sweet red fruit that seems to counter the medicinal characteristic of cherry. This is why is reminds me of livefest burning cherry, because the raspberry in that does that same, makes the scent sweeter and less floor cleanerish. The lipstick note is there, so the overall effect is a really sweet vanilla cherry with the mellowing of lipstick that blends it all together nicely and makes it all very cohesive and super pretty. Verily femme, dodsnt smell cheap, smells like a fragrance not a cleaner or medicine, slightly effervescent or sparkly, its cheerful and bright but still sexy. Being oriflame I was worried it would have that Avon style dna and smell cheap but it doesnt at all. So happy I got this.

Omg reminds me of something from 15 years ago!!! Way before Tom Ford Lost Cherry and all those! It's such a weird memory unlocked! I recall it now- 2009 launch Oriflame Cherries! They've rebottled it I swear. Smells wonderful, soft amber, syrupy fruits

This perfume definitely smells like lipstick. I really don’t sense the cherry note. I love the smell smells delicious amazing I haven’t smelled anything like this and I’ve been trying to get a dupe of this perfume, but I cannot find it

First spray I smell fresh but not lipstick maybe tangerine. Only later does the cherry stand out but not same cherry like from Tom Ford that hot dark thick sexy cherry that's cherry is freshy is opposite for Ford dark hot cherry

Created by Louise Turner the nose behind Lost Chery by Tom Ford expectatios were high. Pretty sweet for me , cherry , lipstick and choclate notes dominate the perfume. Big enduralnce.

The notes look absolutely delicious, i could not resist blind buying this! (for a steal on Notino) And the bottle is stunning.

It's a really strong cherry and black cherry scent. It's not one of my favorites, but I use it from time to time.
