Love Potion Midnight Wish

I was unsure what I would get with this fragrance based on the notes (which I love all of), but i really do like this! After the inital blast of a delicious but medicinal cherry I think it dries down into a very nice scent. It makes me think of an espresso martini with some maraschino cherries on the side! Then a nice musky base to balance it out. and i wouldnt go as far either as to call this a gourmand, to me it's more of a dark & fruity musk. A very simple scent, but i think it is well balanced and reacts very nicely with my skin lasting the whole day for me

This sent is warm, boozy dark and sweet. Perfect for a date for autumn. It's a lot sweeter than the original love potion. I love both this and the original love potion and interchange them in autumn. Love potion midnight wishes is not as mature as love potion. I would see this being for a younger woman. Mature woman can still pull it off as well.

I really LOVE this one. I don't get any coffee. I get a syrupy dark cherry with a hint of musk/powder. Yes, it is synthetic but silage and longevity are really good. It reminds me of Liquid Cashmere Black by Donna Karan which I adore and Black Perfecto La Petite Robe Noire without the leather. I like the bottle sooooo much!

I would not call this gourmand at all. Yes, the cherry is there but it is sharp. Almost an antiseptic cherry. It has a darkness to it. You cannot smell a distinct coffee note. There's some light musk. And definitely floral notes. Maybe orchid or freesia. Interesting. Not girlie like LPRN. I like it.

Came back to correct my initial review. Usually the opposite happens,but this time I got to love a scent I initially found average. On my skin it smells so warm and delicious. Coffee,vanilla, musk and sweet cherries, a bit dark, but not agressive nor overly loud and sexy. I love it!! So happy I bought it. It is my innocent pleasure during the winter period. I had such great expectations about this, and I am slightly disappointed... the bottle is stunningly beautiful, deep black with silver shimmery particles, it looks like a bottle of poison in a wizard's laboratory. The smell starts with a sharp, not overly sweet cherry, then a faint coffee/vanilla note joins in. This should be stronger!! It also has a clear flowery accord which is not listed among the notes. The drydown is warm musky, it lasts for about 4 hours on me. The ginger is nonexistent to me, such a shame. It is not a bad scent, and I love that it is not overly sweet, nor gourmand, but I expected a deeper, velvety scent from the design& notes. This is also suitable for the office. Not bad, I will use it up, but with a bit more courage from Oriflame this could have been exeptional...

I only get sweet airy cherry with this one, no coffee in sight, which was the main reason I wanted to buy this. It's not sweet enough for me, I've noticed I'm usually more likely to enjoy a cherry fragrance if it leans towards a cherry coke scent and this isn't that. The longevity on this isn't great, I would definitely consider it a daytime fragrance and something that needs to be resprayed. It's nice enough for me to use up, I discovered that layered with Eilish No.1. adds that warmth and sweetness I was missing.

I don't ordinarily like cherry in a perfume - too many cough syrup memories I guess. But this is sweet, rich, dark, captivating. It feels like a gourmand without ever feeling like you are wearing a food group - if you know what I mean. I never really catch the coffee note but overall this feels decadent. And I like knowing I don't smell like anyone else ;)

Exactly what you expect. Maraschino cherries and coffee. So dark but also sweet in an artificial way (not saying that in a bad what though). I also sense some smokiness. Gives Opium vibes. Saving this for the winter mostly bc it is such a small bottle, otherwise you could wear this any season and any hour of the day.

A very simple scent that reminds me a cheaper range box of dark chocolates filled with cherry liquor and a balsamic cherry. Obviously, this does not smell expensive and you'd more smell like you've just walked out of a coffee shop filled with cherry cream cakes and lattes on a cold rainy day. This could be a lovely addition to the sweet liquery fagrance wardrobe, but don't expect too much. But well, for the given discounted price range it's still OK.

I hate the beginning after spraying...I dont know what kind of cherry this is, but it smells so balsamic and medicine like, I cant stand it. The coffee is barely there, if I knew it will be such a turn off, I'd have better ordered the original Potion instead. At least I've had it and I know what a bomb it was.

I was so hyped up to blind buy this.. i loove cherries, i love coffee i love sandalwood. and how does this really smell like? sour-sweet powder! and powder is the only smell i hate!

powdery ehh; i got it as a gift and had no idea it's supposed to be cherries (now that i know i kind of feel them), the first notes are so sweet and almost chokey to me. and i never smelled the coffee. yeah it gets powdery but i think it's pretty okayish for cold weather update: after not trying it for a whole year i gave it a shot again and oh my god i hated it so much. i couldnt scrub it off because i sprayed the clothes but i told myself i could pull thru. nope. i dont know how i got to hate it that much. i bet many would like it and be warned it lasts for a good couple of hours. not sure about the sillage

They made this thing for my best friend it screams her name from the beautifull black bottle to coffe and cherry notes (ı have seen her eat coffee beans at some point she is addicted and she also eats frozen cherries in the winter) once ı get my hands on it ı will share her thoughts.

The bottle looks very similar to Aubade EDP without the ridges
