Midsummer Woman

I had this perfume several years ago. I wore this to college. It smells watery,airy and light. Perfect for hot & humid weather. But the downside of every Oriflame perfume is that they don't last. Even with layering. Too bad because this perfume is cheap, and it's good for the first time perfume wearer.

I had this several years ago. I think oriflame done it better than their orientals . The longevity is poor, after one hour the scent almost diminished from my skin. Just like the other summer scent it's a citrusy, airy and crisp fragrance

This is a soft, fresh and clean summer fragrance. It s a type of perfume for women that don t think that summer is all about fruity fragrances. Staying power is acceptable...on my skin about 5 hours.

That's true that this fragrance was launched in (if I well remembered) 1998 and then I really like it. Nice and fresh for really hot days and smell exactly like air in Sweden in warm summer days.

i remember i tried it few years ago, and i loved it, but somehow(i dont know why) never bought it. and it cant be a version of moschino i love love, cause it was launched ~5y later.

It's not special, because the smell like a cologne that I've ever had.. and some friends gave comppliment however.. :) I like it, just 1 bottle...

I haven't tried the reformulated version. I had it years ago (still have some left) and to me it was almost identical to cool water.

Smells excactly like that teen eau de toilette advertised by Jennie Garth. 1999?

Umka is right, it is very similar to D. Cool Water but Midsummer is softer.

Old version: I found this in an makeup bag i once got from my mom years ago with old makeup from my teen years to go through as a nostalgic beauty-trip before throwing it away. Saved it because the bottle was nice. Looked it up today and from the reviews it sounded nice so I tried it on. First half hour in and I only smell off-brand flower cleaning products, the pink liquid kind. It smells clean and flowery for sure, but I don't feel like smelling like a floor.

As a Oriflame consultant and member, i'm so dissapointed with the new formula. Smells like a chemical cleaner. And it's so damn expensive for a plastic fragrance! Hope they did the same as Di vine for Midsummer, bring the old bottle and formula :(

The citrus in it make is smell like a cleaningproduct. Yuck!!!!!!!! Therefore it reminds me a bit of Clean Original, who smells EXACTLLY THE SAME!!!! I don ́t like either of them!!!

The reformulation is a disaster, it smells like awful chemical detergent. Old version was nice citrus scent. The new bottle also looks awful.

Tbh, I dunno, why people (and me myself) are/were so harsh on the new version of Midsummer, cuz when I got my hands on it now, I really enjoyed it! 6 years ago I ordered a bottle as I remembered how much I liked in catalogue when I was a kid and mom was working in Oriflame. I sniffed the paper all over again and hoped somebody will get me it as a present for some b/day or wte. It wasn’t bad, but surely wasn’t what I remember and what I expected that’s why I turned it down. Now, out of pure curiousity I got it again and I really love it! Dunno even why I was so rejective towards the new version back then cuz, if I would have a chance I would buy 5 bottles of it now! 😆 It’s super fresh, airy, watery, but not annoying watery, I mostly can’t get along with those aquatic/cucumberish notes, but this one feels like pouring water in a sunny day, smth I could really associate it with it’s name - Midsummer. Definitely nothing to do with cleaners or sharp citruses for my nose. And I absolutely love the design of the bottle! Lately me and my mom were going through super old testers and I found the tester of the original Midsummer, and I find where the frustration comes from. It felt a lot sweeter than the newest version. I also understand why I enjoyed more the old version than the new - it was sweet, and when I was younger I was crazy around sweet perfumes. For the nostalgia I’d love to have the original, but the summer go I would roll with less sweet 2nd version. I wish they would bring it back, after all Swedish company all the time sells how Swedish/Nordic it is, but as neverending classics selling Giordani, Eclat and Volare, which are super cool, but so dedicated to Italy and France, a tiny bit of Sweden wouldn’t bother me at all and would be nice Swedish thing to stick to, if we’re talking about company’s home country. 😁

I wore this one summer when I was a teenager. I bought it together with some sort of scented body powder from the range, and I remember I liked it. It was very calming and fresh. It's a very bright and sunny perfume, quite different from any other floral aquatic.

I gave this perfume to my mom as gift back in 1998 but it fell on the tiles and all leaked out after a couple of days. Anyway, I remember it as very fresh, water like perfume indeed similar to D Cool Water. I liked it and my mom did too.

In fact that's not true. This fragrance is older )) My husband presented it to me in 1998 or 1999y. I really hated it, cause I disliked fresh, airy fragrance. But staying power was really unbelievable, almost the whole day.

I had it several years ago. Very bad version of "I love love" by Moschino.It doesn't stay long on skin and fades away very quickly. Fresh fragrance, a little bit heavy.Cheep perfume, nothing special, though I liked it.
