Mister Giordani

A fresh scent with nothing special. So calm and citrus.

My mum bought this for me and when i saw Nathalie Lorson created it i was looking forward to it. Have to say iam pleasantly suprised because of previous Oriflame gifts:) . Fresh, citrusy, shower gel-y nothing groundbreaking. I cannot compare it to YSL Y because i tried Y long time ago and what i remember is that it was too ovewhelming and strong i didnt liked it. If you want Oriflame frag to gift for someone not into fragrances this is safe bet:)

I was having great expectations for this fragrance, on me this one has no projection, no staying power whatsoever... and the fragrance is a plain one, nothing great just a regular cologne for after showering or staying at home. A skinscent perfect for everyday use that’s all... at least on my skin.

As open minded as i claim to be, whenever i get to smell an Avon or Oriflame fragrance, i aproach it from an involuntary elitist and condescending point of view. Its wrong because at the end of the day, these are fragrances that use legitimate, IFRA standard aproved ingredients produced by the big aromachemical manufacturers that produce for all the other brands too and sometimes they even feature star perfumers. My father received a bottle of Mister Giordani for his birthday and i stole a couple of sprays to see what its about. Out of all the perfumes he had so far, even if perhaps this isn't his favourite, its the one that suits him best without doubt. Its a good one, and no surprises because its made by none other then THE Nathalie Lorson!. The fragrance is a slightly more mature take on an aromatic scent with fresh blue influences. The vetiver, geranium and pepper notes make it spicy aromatic woody and that gives it a more grounded and serious tone. The grapefruit is tart, lemony but not photorealistic fruity. The note works similarly as it does in compositions like Terre D'Hermes. The ginger adds the influence of a modern blue scent to it, not terribly far from YSL Y EDP. Many, if not most perfumes in this bracket make the mistake of straight up cloning eighter YSL Y or Invictus, which is overplayed at this point. Mister Giordani is safe enough to appeal to most people but has some welcomed twists and nouances. Coming back to my point at the beginning, altho indeed you can tell that the ingredients used in Mister Giordani aren't exactly top of the line, the overall composition doesn't feel very much inferior to that of an YSL or Paco Rabanne fragrance.

I really loveeee this so so much,Vetiver is my scent type. it bring the warmness,charming,and so charismatic. Tbh,I was soo feminime but I really into that warm spicy or aromatic scent. it suits me very well,I'm glad this fragrance is really represent myself.. no one can copy my scent because there is no one know I'm wearing this. Pleaseant and Charismatic.. one more,this perfume was so affordable

On me (woman) this smelled earthy, vetivery and spicy, the ginger and grapefruit stayed in the shadow. Not bad, but also not groundbreaking. It's safe for office, has a sonewhat serious profile.
