My Little Garden

It's a nice, refreshing scent. First to develop is basil and then lily of the valley. A floral green scent. Crisp and clear. The mix between basil and lily of the valley is well done, there is unity in the whole composition. Personally I like it better than the original but it can only work as a pick me up scent, as the longevity is not more than three hours. Not totally unwearable in winter. In my opinion, lily of the valley, despite being a spring type floral, can totally work in winter as well; there is something about its crispyness that in my mind is associated with the cold air in wintertime. It's a smell with quality, but bad longevity. Too pity.

It's an intriguing perfume - not a lemon-basil combo which I'm a total fan of (these can be found relatively frequently on the market) but a lily-of-the-valley and basil combo with some tropical fruit - really cool and soothing, juicy but not sour. IMO it's a very distant reminder of my long-lost love Manifesto by Isabella Rossellini - but this is far more complex, milder and fruitier, the basil note is not as prominent here as in Manifesto, despite still being the main note. It's another must-have of mine, but I'll wait with it until summer - then it will be really precious, especially on warm, rainy days.

I actually noticed it has some similarities with Waterlily Tea Dress from Zara but dries down to more green apple (DKNY Be delicious sort of). I agree with the opinion it also wears well in winter. Imho it is all year round scent but it's the type of scent that due to fresh green-watery vibe is thought to be great during heats. Honestly I feel like this is so underrated. But maybe it's better. When everyone is so crazy over gourmand scents lovers of freshies green florals don't have to worry about availability ;P

It's a floral green fragrance, that works best in summer. I personally like it a lot. Please keep in mind this is an Eau de Toilette. Of course it lasts only 2-3 hours. It reminds me of Arden Beauty, but I find the Oriflame version sharper.

This would be lovely for a holiday by the sea. What a gorgeous fragrance for spring, summer and fall! Really bright, soft, lovely perfume!

I absolutely hate green,vegetative,herbal scents so my little garden doesn't seem to be my type at all.I wanted to order my lovely garden and didn't know there are two greenish oriflame perfumes with the word "garden" in there name so I ordered this one by mistake.I was so sad when I checked it's notes and saw basil as the most prominent one.liliy of the valley isn't my favorite floral note either Yesterday that I received my "my little garden" I found out that there was no need for concern.this is one of rare green scents that I can get along with,wear it happily and enjoy it I can smell the green note which must be basil from the first second but it doesn't have that vegetable like cold sharpness which we usually see in herbal scents.I'd rather call it green than herbal and this green note has a hint of lemony citrus juicyness blended with it It's floral accord is also soft and easy to like.lily of the valley adds to green fresh spicy scent of basil,a touch of floral creamyness.I guess that musk is what makes me like this perfume.it's clean but not too cold or soapy and gives the scent some warmth and depth All in all I'm happy to have this gorgeous bottle with green juice in my collection.it's refreshing and unlike what I thought it's feminine,simply classy,inoffensive and easy to wear.can make a great office perfume speacially during springs and summers I expect a perfume with the word "garden" in it's name to smell more heavily floral.but this is a little garden with young trees and small flower bushes which have been washed by a spring rain but now are warmening by pale spring sun.all in all it's not a very gardeny scent I can't comment accurately on longevity.I sprayed it four hours ago and it's still there.sillage is soft to moderate

My love for perfumes began with my mom bringing home Oriflame and Avon catalogues. The only pages I was interested in were the perfume pages. One time we got a sample of this perfume with our order. I fell in love with it and I begged my mom for months to buy it for me. Eventually I got it for my birthday. 10 years later I still have it, I cherish it, especially because it's now discontinued. I smelled a lot of perfumes, but nothing smells like this. It's not a typical green herbal citrus perfume. It's soft, almost aquatic, blended so well, flowery and sweet at the same time. Like the most refreshing summer mojito drink, but without alcohol. It is so unique, I'm afraid I won't ever find anything that smells quite like it. The closest one I've smelled was Ulric de Varens Mojito Love, but that one was too sweet and strong and artificial, I like this one much better. Since it's such a soft, close to the skin scent, it doesn't last long but I forgive it because it's so special. It performs the best in warm weather because it's so refreshing.

Bought this after my mother asked me to find her a basil perfume. I received it today. The lily-of-the valley is there but not as strong as in other perfumes. This is a light perfume and I find it citrusy, I don't smell the musk at all, I can smell a hint of basil. It is lovely and light and I think my mother will love it since she loves light gardeny-like perfumes. It certainly puts me in a good mood and I am a more sweet and heavy perfume kind of gal.
