Northern Glow

It's mostly creamy amber, hazelnut and a bit of cherry on me, I don't detect any of the other notes. Perfect for colder months, lasts about 3 hours.

I like it as an everyday frag. I don't detect much of hazelnut or any other "wintery" note. It's mostly fresh, clean, icey and floral, yet still wearable in fall and winter season. It lasts for about 2-4 hours. Somehow it reminds of starry nights in Scandinavian sky...

I’m not really good with recognizing certain details in fragrances and everything, but one thing is sure - it’s clean, it’s crispy and it’s sweet. Indeed nice for the winter time, when it’s snowy and temperature has dropped below zero. Sweet, and definitely way too sweet for a summer or warm spring in my opinion. The other thing I didn’t expect when I got my hands on this last year was it would nearly alike with Paris Hilton’s Can Can. A perfume I tried once when I went to highschool, but wasn’t able to buy by that time. Apparently, my nose has changed, so, when I got Can Can last summer, had super divided feelings as now it was far away from being so epic as I remember it. Why do I compare these? They’re pretty much the same, it’s just Northern Glow doesn’t have that sinthetic note what I feel in Can Can. Even tho I’m not all hands up for sweet perfumes, I like this a lot better, cuz some certain note is not hitting my nostrils like it does in Can Can. As much as I lowkey admire Paris Hilton and cherish memories of Can Can, I must say Oriflame did it better. So, if you’re into finding something similar to Can Can or you also felt like something’s way too much there, Northern Glow could be the absolute win at this point, cuz other than that in my opinion they’re pretty much the same.

It is sweet, but more fruity sweet, and I love florals. It's a beautiful fragrance, but... It has the Oriflame element, as I call it. Almost all Oriflame perfumes resemble one another, it's like they have this omnipresent element, and I hate it. The only ones that stood out were Mirage, More, and Felicity, all discontinued...
