Possess The Secret Woman

I love this one. It is very bright, very definite and loud and it does have a little masculine note to it.It is fresh and sweet and sharp. For me it is a perfect autumn smell. It goes so well with chrisantemas!

This is definitely a must in everyone’s collection (every fragrance-addict or collector)!

Possess the Secret is a relatively new fragrance from Oriflame, which I first tested from the catalog and then chose as my gift when I made a bigger order. Dramatic, confident, evening fragrance as the ad wants to tell? Not really, in my opinion. First I smell crispy apple notes, which later are blended with black currant notes. Opening is crispier, drydown warmer and sweeter. Yet it is very linear: black currant and apples. If you want a season for Possess the Secret, I'd say it's fall. The dramatic, seductive mistress fume became a kindergarten teacher's work scent during the cold season :D It's very pleasant but I find nothing dramatic in it. Again, this is my personal impression. The bottle is pretty and handy.

A strong apple note and a pleasant scent

The middle notes are bitter but not in a good way. It was unbelievably unpleasant the between 45 mins from application and 3 hours. Then it became close to skin vanilla. I wonder if it is only me who noticed this crazy middle section?

Oh no! It smells agressive, dusty and masculine. It is a total no-go for me. Longevity is unfortunately very good.

Possess the Secret is a flanker of Possess by Oriflame. The two scents are quite different between them, and honestly if I wasn't told it's a flanker I would have thought it's a stand alone perfume. The original is a sweet vanilla-patchouli based perfume with pineapple and soft ylang floral accents, with very good longevity and enjoyable sillage; I spent two full bottles during one winter. The flanker I did not like as much. It's okay. I most certainly do not need a full bottle. It has a sweet starchy smell, fruity for the most part, reminding me something between Burberry Woman and Light Blue D&G. Seems appropriate for all year round, cozy and comforting. The bergamot is very forwarded in the opening giving a carefree summery vibe, and then it's simply the crisp apple and the sweet blackcurrant. It stabilizes around these three notes, between sweet and crisp. Lovely. Underage girls would appreciate this perfume a lot. Soft sillage with decent longevity.

First time i used this parfume, i thought i didn't like the smell. like mostly in Vanilla after 10 minutes.. but i liked when 1st spray, feeling fresh and juicy. Then after weeks i used this, i felt likes feminin and classy.. LOL This perfume is suitable for evening party, women with calm misterious in their ways. #just my opinion

Great longevity and projection on me. I get a lot of apple, but a crunchy, ripe apple. It's definitely a golden apple as suggested, as it has an expensive smell in some way... The secret? It's really cheap!

Dominant notes of this fresh fragrance are Apple and Osmanthus. Good projection. Day- time and perfect for Spring and Summer.

Opening is beautiful. Tangy, woody apple and hint of citrus. Drydown is unfortunaty sticky sweet. Dissapointing
