Puressence by Ecobeauty

I was intrigued by this being an "eco" perfume, and despite the reviews here being mostly negative, I had to snag it. I do like green scents, and this must be the greenest green scent I own. It's so incredibly fresh, smells like a herb garden really. I can't wait to wear this when it gets hot! On me the staying power isn't too great, as the others have said, but for the price it is decent.

When I bought it I was disappointed, but warm summer came and I rediscovered, is magnificent. When it is very hot this fragrance perception change brings much cooler. I want to take more

I once made a 'perfume' by myself by mixing some natural essential oils and it smelled quite similar to this one. Therefore I'm quite likely to believe this is actually some 'eco' stuff! Still, it's not my cup of tea at all.

very sharp and bitter perfume.It's almost like some bug sprays.It's not pleasent at all.

Puressence like a sparkling moisture on the side of a "sweating" glass in the summer heat. Or it's like a refreshing green icetea with ice cubes inside without sugar. I like Puressence. I like it, because it's not like another typical Oriflame creation with fruity and sweet elements inside.Puressence is different.Literally a pure essence of green and herbacious ingredients.Refreshing yet smooth and harmonious mixture of the notes. After the vehemence and loud start the pungent bitterness of the orange blossom settles down quickly into a fizzy-smokiness.Piquant basil and earthy vetiver sweetens by ylang.The final result is like a green basil smoke. It's understandable, this new innovation is divides the camp of the Oriflame fans, but I like the conception of this perfume, finally Oriflame entered the new perspectives of the unisex olfactory challenges.Yes,I think chemistry of man's skin would beautifully amplifies the vetiver in this fragrance. Due this is an eco perfume, unfortunately it's doesn't last too long on the skin but it otherwise it feels made from quality ingredients and it smells very natural. ...and last but not least...generally I don't care perfume bottles.I purchase my perfumes for the liquid inside.But I have to say this bottle is adorable.I like its design, the colour and the shape of it and the wooden cap is just genius!!:)

It starts almost like marinade - alcohol is strong and so is the basil, but as quick as alcohol vanishes (around half minute) it turns into a very raw and green fragrance. It has its sharp and energetic edge with basil, citrus and vetiver notes, and its calm and soft edge with florals. Bulgarian rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang - all are detectable. Puressence lacks long staying power and has soft sillage, also it seems flat when applied on clothes (it is the way how to make it last longer though), however Puressence is something way different comparing to any other Oriflame fragrance, so it is worth to test it at least. Not being quite sophisticated I believe it is hit or miss depending just on one's taste.

A refreshing,playful summer fragrance,full of sour-sweet citrus peel notes.I can sense the herbal scent of basil mixed with soft but memorable orange blossom water and when the scent dries down-which happens quite fast-a warmer tone of soft rose,jasmin and woody vetiver stays on the skin.All natural,sparkling,quality mixture of natural juices to my nose.Absolutely youthful,it can cool and refresh during high temperatures-I'm buying my second bottle soon!

I loved this one. So natural and unique. Green fresh aromatic . Reading the rest reviews it makes sense why it was discontinued. Well done Marie Salamagne! Proud for this eco masterpiece released by Oriflame back then. The bottle was awesome too.

I am bitterly disappointed with this perfume. It smelled wonderful on the catalogue page but turned out to smell chemical and irritating. I wanted to love it, but no. Such a pity:-(

Crazy about the bottle! Unfortunately this doesn't help the smell go away :(
