.SE Swedish Experience Blazing Warmth

To me, it`s the perfect autumn fragrance, and I also love it in winter. It smells warm and bitter-sweet (in a good way), wild and empowering and somehow also pampering. It lasts a lot and the price is also good. I love it!

At first I wasn't fan but now I'm starting to like the greeness in it.

I like this but I must admit that it really reminds me of the Bath & Body Works In the Stars body spray which to me, smells like a sweet version of BR540. It lasts a long time and I like it much better than cloud or any other similar frags. I love the cap of the bottle & the price if you want something that’s similar to BR without the price tag, this is good.

I was very intrigued by this one but unfortunately it disappointed me. It starts with a very quick fading orange note, after that a strong, pungent birch tree note comes in and never ever leaves, and this phase is highly unpleasant for me. It stings and makes me sneeze. It reminds me of Summer White Sunset from Avon, but that one was more balanced and rounded, this is just too dry and sharp. I think it was discontinued and I can understand why.

Top notes: Orange, Green apples, Ozone notes Middle notes: Jasmine, Pine needles, Tansy Base Notes: Incandescent Birch Wood, Amberwood, Artemisia This is the perfume pyramid taken from the Oriflame website. The perfume starts fruity, juicy and quite sweet, the apple feels good all the while thinking of Delicious. Except that this phase is quite short, max one hour. The bitter-herbal accords make their appearance gradually, the perfume acquires aromatic and then woody nuances, passing into a completely different register. The smoked birch is predominant, but it does not masculinize the perfume at all, as you would expect, although it gives it a hint of leather. It seems to me a very feminine version of Aventus, that's what I expected when I wore this one and I didn't get it. As I did not receive from Aventus For Her either. And what do you see, an Oriflame perfume has all these qualities that I wanted. In terms of performance, it is very ok, the bottle and cap is interesting.

When it settles I can distinctly smell the smoked birch and that note stays prominent for a long time. This is the note that makes this fragrance distinctive. The scent is indeed warm and luminous, and evokes images of a bonfire or a fireplace, or a summer meadow during the golden hour. I think Oriflame did a great job creating an interesting fragrance!

Upon first sniff I was really surprised as I didn't expect to love it, my immediate thoughts were that I need a bottle of this. I can see the comparison to BR540, it has a similar airy quality about it but it's not a clone or dupe for BR540. Blazing warmth is sweet, yet has some zestiness and spiciness to it. The scent lingered for over a day even after showering. Since the concept of these new SE fragrances is about encapsulating Sweden's nature, I expected something fresh and woody or green, but this one is kind of yummy, makes me thirsty for a cocktail but not a tropical one.

It's a pleasant surprise. It's a dupe of Si in my mind, and a good match if not better because it's more naturally derived. I feel the Swedish difference is a bit more on the botanical side, and always adapting to the more casual feelings... but it still has that Si scent to it and the longevity is excellent

If you also have le mounde gourmand chai epice do yourself a favor and wear them together
