Sir Avebury

When I tried a tester of Sir Avebury from the brand Oriflame, I was immediately impressed. This fragrance surprised me with its quality and exclusivity. It was truly a class apart, perfect for a stylish English gentleman, just as the name suggests. Unfortunately, this scent is no longer available, and no comparable fragrance has replaced it. It was one of my all-time favourite scents. At the first spray, I received a refreshing kick of bay leaf and cypress. As the fragrance developed, the warmth of mate and black tea emerged, creating a beautiful balance. The base of cashmere wood and cedar provided a deep, warm finish that lingered for a moderate duration. It had average longevity and sillage. I could clearly smell it, but it wasn't overpowering. It was perfect for both day and night, giving me a feeling of elegance and refinement. The bottle was elegant and timeless, exactly what I would expect from such a refined scent. I proudly displayed it on my shelf. It took me on a journey with an elegant British gentleman. It was powerful, refined, and a scent that lingered. It was more suited for business meetings and special occasions. A man in a suit would find this fragrance fits perfectly. For Oriflame and at such a good price, this was particularly excellent. Sir Avebury remains one of my all-time favourite scents.

Just a fantastic affordable fragrance! It's woody, spicy, green and masculine - one of my favorite tea fragrances. To me, I get woods, tea, cypress and lots of "tickle your scent pallet" spices. Sir Avebury commands respect and it is perfect for the office or formal and casual settings since it's manly, but the scent bubble doesn't permeate other's personal space. Heck, this is a jackknife fragrance...perfect for all seasons and occasions. Sir Avebury has a slight eucalyptus quality to it even though it's not listed. It must be the way the spices, black tea and bay leaf coalesce on my skin. Regardless, if you enjoy that eucalyptus vibe then you'll love this one. If not, it doesn't get out-of-control (whispers and barely there kisses, so to speak) so it will just feel part of the spices and tea. I also sense a bit of vetiver in the drydown. Finally, this fragrance lasts around 6-7 hours on my skin and projects about average...just a damn nice blend, which is a better suited for gentlemen 25+. Well-done, Oriflame!

if you wear a suit, on the formal occasion, you'll fit with this scent and become attention from the audience.. and they will say.. Long live to the king..!!! but if u wear it on the club or party, with all chick on there,.,, ha ha ha ha... you'll end up alone.. ha ha ha ha., my girlfriends don't like it because it's scent strong and like intimidation.. strong sillage and longevity.. recomended > bussiness, competition, formal occasion, "don't used it on interview.." but if you're a boss.. you are totally fit with this scent.. Hail to the king..!!!!!

I mix it up with armani code.. and viola..!! Nice n refreshing but still elegant with a fresh spicy opening then become little bit powdery at the end.. Wow.. More suitable for day and night.. and i enjoy it..

It's strong, elegant, sexy and I love the Tea note. All of my friends love it. And long lasting with strong sillage. One of my favorites.

The smell and the composition of this fragrance is niche in "nature". I mean that is a very unique spicy tea fragrance that is very rememberable. However, as some have said, it has a small sillage bubble. This can be good with spicy fragrances, because it can lead to being cloying. Not so here;). You can smell every green and wood note in the list. The bay leaf does give this a fresh almost subtle mint vibe. This is where another review said a eucalyptus smell. The lemon is well blended where you would not recognize it off a blind sniff. However, the yerba mate tea scent is the driving UNIQUE force in this composition. It is the factor that makes it smell niche in its nature. Do not look for this to be a smell that will be a club banger. More so, look for this to have a 2 to 3 ft bubble for 2 hrs then a foot projection for another 2 hrs. The last hour is a skin scent on me. TOTAL 5hr scent life approx. What this scent is good for is making people think that this is your natural body and clothing aroma/scent. That is not what frag heads like to hear typically (lol), but a scent like this is useful for office, first date, or very sensitive people to strong colognes/perfumes. I find myself reaching for this when I want to be fragrant, but do what to smell like a "I just put on cologne". Very masculine scent, but it is a very viable option for 25+ ladies too--ironically. Very relaxing scent due to the yerba mate tea scent. overall for price vs. uniqueness: ****/5 1) Perfect for over reapplying or refreshing throughout the day OR 2) Smelling great without making people think you are a cologne/perfume bath person lol Don't worry... in close encounters people will notice ;) Review coming... its calm,, sweet tea, a lil bit eucalyptus,, n... a lil'bit boring.. i love every oriflame perfume, but not the formula.. its just last long 35 minute on my skin, after that.... its hard to notice... hmm, shit...

can anyone tell me the fragrance thats really similar to this? this is my signature scent,I love this but this was discontinued long time ago,I keep looking for the one that similar
