Volare Forever

I bought this one following a successful blind buy of Oriflame Pretty Swan. I'm now 2 out 3 successful on Oriflame blind buys - Volare Forever is wonderful. I almost can't describe what it is about it that works so well... Sat in a patisserie on the Riviera, a bouquet of white roses on the table, you order a jug of cold grapefruit juice, and the waiter brings a plate of crispy macaron. Yeah... it's like a box of macaron. Sweet fruits and rose over an almond base. It's sweet to the same extent a lot of celebrity frags are, but it's not saccharine, and it's too balanced to be syrupy and gross like them. If you want something sweetly feminine but polite enough to be worn in an office, for the small cost this one is so worth your money.

Appropriate for all year round; enough warm for winter and autumn, but will bloom in spring and summer in my opinion. Suitable for all ages, pairs with everything. Longevity is up to 5 hours and as for sillage it stays close to the skin. No projection. Has no similarities with the original Volare, this is a different perfume. A lot rosy and fruity. Notes seem to dance on the skin; other times I get sweet, others rose, and then i smell the woods. It is fruity but balanced, actually pleasant. Not overpowering. I would have wished for a more potent base, maybe more woods, but i will layer it. Between sour and sweet. Not gourmand. A lovely proportionate blend that makes me willing to wear fruity notes, despite my dislike towards them most of the time in fragrances. Citrus and almond are tamed and the sweet + fruity side seems moderate, not food-like. Notes add on the skin with the following order. No note vanishes in my opinion, i detect them all: grapefruit, raspberry, rose, cashmere, almond, then flowers with Jasmin and white musk. All blended gracefully. The perfume, as many from oriflame, does lack a "punch". Either spray a lot, or layer with patchouli, or sandalwood, or any other flower you like.

Tested it with 1mil sample vial in oriflame's sample bag and ordered it at once.I'm going to write a better review when I received my own bottle Volare forever is a beautiful rosey perfume.enough sweet but not too much.enough fruity but not too much and enough woody but not too much.it's well balanced,easy to wear whole year round and easy to like I also have volare gold and I can see their sweet fruity rose similar gene but they belong to different genres.volare forever isn't as sweet or as gourmand as her golden sister.rose and raspberry are the most prominent notes on my skin and I can't detect much of almond,grapefruit or musk.it's not invasive but is not too light or faint either.I wish I like it as I do now when full wearing

An elegant, pleasant, inofensiv smell. Powdery musky white flowers with a hint of bitterness and almonds. Makes me think of a simple silk wedding dress. Can be worn daily anywhere. It doesn't really stand out with anything in particular and it's mostly a skin scent for me.

I have recently bought this perfume. A rub on the catalog was enough to persuade me, not to mention the beautiful bottle. The smell is fantastic. Sweet, elegant, and calming fragrance. Love!

Longetivity is about 4 hours :))) a friend said that I smelled like sweets but really it smells heavenly. Must buy!!

Beautiful citrusy rose raspberry...perfect for spring/summer.

It's very floral, but it has a scent that's uniquely its own

Wore this a LOT throughout my middle school years, especially in the 7th grade, because I hadn't yet developed a taste/preference in perfumes so I was just wearing whatever I had. It's pretty, dainty and floraly. White flowers are most prominent in this. I just now looked at the notes for the very first time and even though I wore this almost everyday for a year, I never smelt that rasperry! Or at least I didn't realize it was raspberry. It's pleasant. Doesn't last too long. I never got any compliments about it.

this smells familiar but i can't quite place it. i don't get rose. this is a bitter citrus and white floral... i think it is reminding me of all the Sunflowers and Happy type scents from ~20 years ago? i never liked any of those, either.

Just received it today from Europe. This scent is sweet and fresh at the same time. It is not a cloying gourmand. The smells reminds me of a French wedding "dragee". Rose, Raspberry, delicate almond and musk are well blended in a subtle sweetness. Very nice. Pretty linear, longevity is rather good (5-6 hours), projection is moderate. The bottle is, of course, gorgeous and can stand horizontally or vertically. Worth a try!

Maybe that's because I'm a '90s kid, but it reminds me of hairspray (in a good way) and Jordan almonds from a wedding reception. It is the scent for the woman who is not part of the party or so occasional, not a bridesmaid or a professional character. Right there just part of the bigger picture but it's marketed for the dream bride. What it is ~ stays just that... a dream

Usually,I don't like the Volare perfumes,they smell kinda"oldish"and artificial,but this one was a pleasant surprise.I smelled it in the brochure and it was so different from the original Volare. In my opinion,it smells sophisticated,elegant and with a note of soap,but in a nice way. I bought it on sale,and I think it' really ok compared with other cheap perfumes

This is an awesome fragrance, the rose is very strong, yet delicate. I wanted a rose perfume about 2 years ago, when they started to be popular. However, I had so many fragrances that I decided it is not worth it, but this one was a gift. I am happy I finally got my rose perfume,, it smells similar to all the expensive ones on the market and its' worth every cent

Just tried this perfume. I can smell the grapefruit, jasmine, and rose. There's indeed this fruity smell, but I don't think it is raspberry. I don't smell the almond either. Sillage is moderate. Longevity... still counting. :D I'm not a floral scent lover, but my mom definitely loves this one. And I can tolerate the smell too, due to its citrusy sweetness.

a blind buy in progress due to good reviews here. an update to come but it sounds wonderful. hope im not disappointed. update. bloody australia post has lost my precious oriflame fragrance. grrrr

Just ordered this on a whim. I adore Volare Eau de Parfum and decided to go for the Silver rose, judging from the other reviews it will be appreciated by me. I have to get the Gold Rose.

i never like volare until i get this one. Very soft floral in my skin and not annoying like another version volare. but not long lasting.
