Autour de l’Iris

UPDATE: this one smells so similar to prada infusion d' iris, but this one last longer on my skin. it is a lovely airy smell.. i really love this smell..i went to the store to buy other perfume,but when i smelled this one i got it on the spot it is a nice one.it really smells like newborn baby :).it is from the perfumes that i get compliments while wearing it. Bravo Orlane

A very clean and clear scent, if you like Prada's Infusion d'Iris, you will definitely like this one too. A wonderful scent for spring and summer.

So babylike, so powdery, so naive, so nice scent... Everybody likes it i guess; because it's very easy, clean and soapy.

Wow, this is a really nice cheapie, and it doesn't smell cheap at all. I would say this is a great dupe for Florentina by Sylvene Delacorte. They are similar but this isn't vanillic like florentina. This is fresher with a very noticeable ivy and ginger top note. What really surprises me is that it has Angelica in the heart notes, and I usually hate anything w/ angelica in it but here I hardly notice it at all. Just a bit of green floating around the edges to keep the perfume from becoming flat. The clove and the iris in here reminds me of my bottle of Esprit by Oscar de la Renta. So, I wouldn't need this in my collection but when my bottle of E'sprit runs out this would be a good one to pick up. If you like warm spicy and delicate musky iris perfumes that smell like a purple haze this is a good way to go. Edit: I would say this is vastly superior to Prada infusion d'iris. First of all the Prada is very woody. To woody IMO. And very unisex. Where the Olene iris is very powdery and feminine. Prada infusion line have 0 lasting power and even the ones I like I would never buy full bottles because of that fact. It is a shame this line to was discontinued. This is a great little iris and smells more expensive than it's original price tag.

This is a really pretty Iris fragrance. It's every bit as nice as some of my more expensive buys. The quality is certainly not reflected in the price as it doesn't smell generic or cheap at all. It's a soft, powdery, well rounded, rich and deep Iris perfume. The opening reminds me of Apres L'Ondee and L'Heure Bleue; but while they have anise as a note, this uses Angelica, which is in the same botanical family but is more subtle and less sharp. That note doesn't last throughout the life of the fragrance as it does in them though. As this dries down that note, and a citrusy ginger, along with a very subtle clove note, recede to the background allowing the beautiful Iris to come forward. All the other notes are very subtle also and only serve to enhance a beautiful flowering, Iris. While a soft scent, this has great silage and excellent longevity. I used 4 sprays and could still smell it clearly around me more than 6 hours later, which is a heck of a lot better than most high-end Iris perfumes I own. At this point is when I can pick up vanilla if I sniff my wrist. So, even though it's not listed in the notes there is definitely vanilla in here too. Just beautiful and a great addition to my iris collection of fragrances.

I don't think it's a scent for a young girl, og even for an older one. I've got en assosiation with a sweet, nice, but very old woman.

I am disappointed on this one. It's very powdery, but it smells like the old perfume like my nana's, not fresh at all.

Light like spring morning, but at the same time, quite strong powdery and flowery fragrance with a surprisingly good staying power considering the low price. A must try for iris lovers.
