Star of the Season Elixir Edition

This is an amazing scent no doubt, one of the main reasons is the top notes are positively fruity and exotic, unmistakably guava crucially not listed in the notes here. The development then takes a turn for the familiar in the shape of a gorgeous vanilla then it became obvious what this smelled like...and it’s one of my favourite perfumes ever...Bella Bellissima’s White Leather. However, as quickly as you can make the association you realise that, firstly it not nearly as lush or intense but it actually changes becoming much more floral. It’s a lovely mixture of iris, soft powdery leather and overtly fresh orange blossom/neroli and maybe some freesia or something. The main basis of star of the season is a soft sandalwood accord which again is similar to White Leather. You can still smell the exotic fruit and vanilla way in the background too but it’s such a different scent as much as it’s familar maybe even more complex but certainly not backed with the strength of oud or the rich, long lasting power of BB. It’s more feminine too and I’d definitely recommend it to those who like the tropical/fruity/floral with an oriental type base.

Orlov Paris is one of the most luxurious brand I ever came across. The fragrances is so wonderful and well blended. The concept is very luxurious too. They are high end frangrance and expensive but it's worth every penny invested. If you wanna quality and want to be excluvise you must invest some more money. The bottle and the box are so minimalistic and lovely. Star of the Season Elixir Edition smells very close to Star of the Season but is more gourmand, creamy and spice that turns it very sexy and unisex too. The longivity is excelent and the projection is great. Overall it's a masterpiece fragrance. The bottle is the most luxurious of the collection. Worth check it out this house.

This is nice but smells cheap. To my nose it's a combo of sun lotion with something caramelized-sweet, like a toned down cotton candy, marginally unisex. It leans clearly towards feminine scents IMO. Dominant notes are vanilla, mild orange blossom, faint patchouli, mild almonds. There is also a very faint tropical fruity freshness somewhere at the background but I can't detect what is exactly. Maybe a mango. To my nose it's mainly vanilla with a feminine sweetness. Very good performance btw. Highly recommended for the ladies.
