It’s funny when I first reviewed this back in 2024 I wasn’t too impressed by it then I ended up with a bottle of early last year after retrying it and loving it. Now it’s been over a year since I’ve had my bottle and it has quite the dent in it, almost half done and that says a lot when you have many fragrances. It’s an easy reach for me. Whenever I don’t know what to wear, I’ll wear this and I often crave wearing it multiple days in a row. It’s so pretty and it’s one of my most complimented perfumes by both men and women. It’s like a magnet for compliments lol. I seriously get asked what it is ALL the time. I’ve even recently set it as my signature as it seems I’ve become associated with this scent in the places I go as I’ve gotten repeat compliments saying “you’re wearing that beautiful perfume again”. It’s just so funny because I didn’t think it was that special when I first tried it and now it is quite special to me. Just a reminder to spend more time with a perfume before writing it off. I’m also happy to report that the performance has gotten better over time. I thought it was light when I first got it but it’s pretty strong honestly and lasts long too, even in hot humid conditions which is important to me considering where I live. I’ll agree it’s not the most ground breaking unique scent out there but why does everything have to be? Asking myself that too because sometimes I’ll forget how something simple done well can still stand out amongst the crowd. It’s also why this is a great choice for an everyday, easy reach because of the simplicity of it that you don’t have to question if it’s too much but trust me it has enough character still to turn heads. TLDR; youthful but not juvenile, flirty and fun but also elegant at the same time, bright but has some depth, pretty girl rose perfume with hints of almond, heliotrope, non cough syrup cherry and light vanilla and sugar elements running throughout on a base of gorgeous sandalwood.

This is soft & pretty but didn’t stand out to me amongst the crowd. Referring to the reminds me of section: Doesn’t smell at all like duchessa (hate that fragrance) or Delina. More in the ballpark of Le petite robe noire as mentioned by the previous reviewer. I owned that fragrance and many of its flankers a long time ago and that’s what 18-12 reminded me of, a niche version of it if you will. From memory 18-12 lasts longer too. This has moderate performance - wears on the softer side. Update: Yeah I’ll have to eat my words a little bit on this one but I finished my decant and wore it outside instead of inside and liked it quite a bit. I was in the mood after trying a lot of heavy scents, for a lighter one that didn’t disturb too much so I doused myself in the rest of my sample, went about my day and to my surprise, out in the summer heat it came alive! It still wore softly in terms of scent profile but it fits the scent. It’s light, feminine and airy. Has a slight clean vibe to it as well. Perfect for summer and spring months. While it is light, I found it performed much better than my first try. I could smell it radiating off me for a few hours before getting closer to the skin. I still think it gives me some vibes of niche LPRN but I’m picking up more differences now and as the day went on I really fell for this one and guess who has a bottle of it now? Me 🥰 haha

This is the smell of an elegant woman's vanity in her closet: the scent of cosmetics mixed with the remnants of luxury perfumes that she sprays liberally while the scent of her expensive clothes and leather handbags ever so slightly make itself known in a very subtle way. An instant love for me. It is not beastmode by any means and I do wish that you get more longevity and sillage for the price but i'm willing to compromise since the artistry in the scent is one of a kind. There is something beautifully nostalgic about it and you think you've smelt it before but not really and no matter how many times you try to find something similar, you can't and probably will not. One critique I have is that the top of the bottle should have been pink or red or something very feminine instead of teal since this perfume is very feminine.

so here's the thing about this house - it's all about timeless elegance, it's conservative and refined, artsy but not too edgy. A very conservative and traditional but very niche at the same time - is that possible? I think that's what they are going for. I imagine wearing 18012 for a high-brow festive occasion. I want to smell feminine and elegant, classy but not too vintage, sweet and seductive but not too girly. Of course there will be whiffs of classy rose and powdery heliotrope, yummy sugar and almond but some citruses to balance it out. it will be strong enough but never offensive or overpowering - you'll get to smell it when barely touching my cheeks when we greet each other. it's very pricey... I'll be thinking long and hard about this one

I got a sample set from this house and I am so stunned by how amazing every scent is. On paper, I didn’t smell anything so when I sprayed it on skin I was completely shocked by how beautiful it is. The opening is a blast of bubbleyum being unwrapped: the sweet powdery bubblegum scent, drying down to a beautiful cherry almond on a bed of purple flowers. I cannot get enough of it, I’ve gone through my sample in a matter of days. It’s bubbly and youthful, but also classy and complex.

If the "soft girl era" trend were to be bottled into a perfume, it would be Ormaie 18-12. She's floral and fruity without being obnoxious, or in-your-face. She's also airy, light and effortlessly elegant. Performance is on par with most French houses which I always regard as "fleeting but there." I would honestly go as far to say that it is signature scent worthy due to the ease of wear, however it would definitely need touching up throughout the day.

Woah 18-12 was another fragrance I smelled while on my trip to New York at the Primtemps store. It’s a gorgeous tart cherry fragrance.

This smells like a sweet cherry soap, but in the best way. It leans gourmand, but never quite gets there, which is nice. I love it!

This one may work for those that still love a cherry almond scent, but want a slightly different take on it. The rose in here isn't overwhelming, but it does play into the background of what I'm smelling. Leans in the sweet gourmand direction for sure, but isn't as sweet and cloying as many gourmands are these days. Some may find this cherry to smell a bit cough syrupy possibly, so not a safe blind buy.

This is a nice scent; objectively it smells good. That being said it also smells almost identical (to me, at least) to La Petite Robe Noire Legere. (Which you can grab on the Grey market for $50 still) I was hoping for stronger rose but it's still a cute, sweet scent!

Based on the profile on fragrantica I wanted this perfume very much as it has all the notes I love. The fragrance itself is nothing like I expected based on the notes. It has this horrible screechy drydown which I smell in cheap perfume which have become popular recently and also in Arabian perfumes. The notes on the drydown is the one I absolutely hate and it chokes me up.

Absolute HORROR! This is cheap can bathroom air freshener with the drydown of the cheap musk used in arabian clones. AgaC is spot on! No wonder this is mass pleasing, it has that cheap middle eastern musk I smell everywhere I go so the masses must love it, but it is revolting to me. Perfect example of brands that exploit naive people. Use cheap ingredients (probably the same ones used by middle eastern clone houses) and put it in a fancy packaging and branding and the naive people who somehow feel bougie because of how much they spent on a perfume go crazy for them. There is nothing French, soft nor elegant about this! P/s: The stinky musk smell is still projecting after my shower. Nasty chemicals in the perfume for sure.

Not really liking this one, in my opinion very intense and too sweet. I do not want to smell it, even makes me nauseous

This perfume is sweet but not too much. The opening is sharp and sweet at the same time. I bought it but I think I made a mistake, too generic and linear for a niche perfume. The taste for fragrances is individual but I've been trying for a while to justify the price and the reviews but I didn't find anything unique in it. I don't even detect anything special in it. I might detect some liqueur-like red fruit and something aromatic. The dry down is powdery sweet, if you want a perfume with this profile that is perhaps more interesting and appealing, try Girl of Now Forever Elie Saab. I want to like it with all my heart, but after reviewing several unique perfumes from the same brand, I decided on something that left me unimpressed...Maybe it's just not for me, it's fascinating how different a scent can be for everyone.

Carefree youthful fruity floral gourmand. The notes are done tastefully so that the gourmand doesn't go too thick or sweet. I barely detected the rose or floral, mostly cherry and almond with some sandalwood in drydown. I think I just have cherry fragrance fatigue right now so I would have liked more floral. There was nothing exceptional about this for me. I imagine my 17 yo loving this or a young twentysomething. Daytime office friendly casual scent.

Slightly spiked bright red fruit punch bowl with extra sugar and bubblegum flavored crystal rock candy. It had intervals that reminded me of a better version of Xerjof La Capitale, yes I said better version. Reminded me of way back when I loved La Capitale but it sometimes gave me headaches, this didn’t. Also, if you want something even more intense and a bit animalic, try SO FETCH from Strangers Parfumerie; that one is polarizing though.

I want so much to like this as many others do but theres something about it... I get something harsh, artificial, that makes me crinkle up my nose every time. It gets a little smoother, creamier over time but whatever that scent is lingers the whole time in the background. I can’t love this one but I already love so many others from the line maybe this is good news for my wallet, haha.

So nice. Sage & heliotrope are two notes I’m least fond of, but they’re crucial for making 18-12 what it is imo. I’d really like this on someone else. For now I’m just toasting sprays from my 10ml decant 🥂

Gorgeous fragrance, a bit heavy on the cherry note. Lasts about 4-5 hours on skin. I wouldn’t buy the full bottle as it is quite expensive.
