Toi Toi Toi Extrait de Parfum

While I like the original very much, this one is beyond amazing. I don’t even know why they called it an Extrait under the same name, this could have been released as a completely different perfume. This one is bright and juicy and crisp. The ginger and raspberry really shine. I personally do not think it’s sweet, it’s just vibrant and spicy in the opening and then the dry down is just divine, settling on the originals woody note. I still think both perfumes can be completely unrelated. This is definitely a new signature scent for me. Love it so much.

I bought the sample set and I am really, really impressed with this house. Raspberry and leather scents have historically been a disaster for me. I don’t know what it is about that combination, but it never does well on my skin. This scent is actually really nice. It’s not overly sweet at all, and I’m getting a clean patent leather with a hint of fruitiness. The frankincense and amber really hold up that leather note which I think makes it more interesting and dark. This is really well done. It’s not something I think I would wear myself, but it’s for sure a work of art.

mmm probably ok..but I'm not sure if it's worth the price and the hype

I love, love, love this brand, but this one is too sweet for me. Projection is a beast and longevity, but too much burned sugar is overkilling the woods. It's cloying, in my opinion. One of my friends said that it smells like polish on wooden floors. I don't want to smell like wooden floors and vanilla sticks. Polished wooden floors inspired this perfume, as did ballerinas dancing on the polished floors.

In the first 30 minutes, I was mesmerized by its beauty. Fruity, sophisticated, sweet but not too sweet. Unfortunately, afterwards it just smells leathery and damp. It did last quite some time on my skin, probably 6-7 hours, although it doesn't project much. Worth sampling for those glorious 30 minutes.

This one made my eyes roll back in my head. Pure heaven! I get an accord that smells like cinnamon, but no cinnamon notes are indicated. The ginger adds a nice spicy top note, but it’s not too overpowering. The dry down is rich and warm. I have no idea why this isn't being talked about more!

Hmm, I smelt initially cinnamon so I hope the sillage is this way for others as well. It's interesting the way this starts fresh and slightly zingy, then turns leathery. Unexpected scent evolution which I am starting to become more and more a fan of.
