Patchouli d'Atlas

First off - zero similarities between Ganymede and bois imperial, idk where that came from (Fragrantica trolls) Second, this thing is “beast mode”. Holy moly, saffron, cashmere patchouli nuclear activity. With that being said it smells fucking amazing. Give it a sample , you’ll see. There is a woody ambery aspect as well later on but I’d say for the 9-12 hours this thing lasts you’re getting mostly saffron cashmere and patchouli. If you sniff your wrist/hand hard enough where you sprayed you’ll get a pretty cool gasoline/high octane note (no - not perfumers alcohol). I’m serious, this stuff would make a Prius run a 10 second quarter mile at the drag strip.

@MarkFL- to the review below me, just take my word for it, please go ahead and get this fragrance. I promise that you won't regret it. Smelled it at Harrod and bought the last one they had. It is marvellous!

One of the best from the house. Def worth checking out. Perfect for fall!

A lovely interpretation of an aged patchouli whose impact is lessened by the addition of too much synthetic amber woody notes. The scent opens with saffron, pepper and cardamom and goes into a heavy amber cedar heart which includes synthetic notes like akaigalawood. The perfume settles into the patchouli surrounded by synthetic musk and sandalwood. The masculine leaning scent has excellent sillage and longevity. It is clearly designed for the Middle Eastern market and unfortunately comes across as one of the several patchouli ouds that dominate this market. Enjoy!

Man, this is my favorite house. And I am really getting tired of attempting to track these scents down! Another Harrods / London exclusive.. I literally live in Miami and have Osme an OJ retailer, and can’t get my hands on these. Ugh.. I don’t blind buy anymore so unless this gets there, I’m out. But the reviewer below stated saffron and cardamom- my two favorite notes along with musk- such a shame it’s out of reach.

It’s a Masterpiece Of a Fragrance, all the notes blended well and perfectly but the most dominant note is the cardamom and the saffron is just perfect in this fragrance. Who ever loves saffron or cardamom WILL LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE.
