Oros Fleur

Sometimes all that glitters IS gold. I admit that I was on the fence with this one but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to buy a moderately priced, pre-loved bottle. I thought that because the bottle was so ornate that the fragrance couldn’t be all that good because that’s usually been my experience. I was also thrown off by the prospect that the closest dupe in the ‘reminds me of’ section was Paris Amour. I guess that’s pretty snobby in retrospect because I actually do really enjoy B&BW, just not their gourmands. This has a scent profile that I typically gravitate to so I did have an idea when I blind bought it. Armaf (even though Fleur is technically an Oros creation, it’s still produced by Armaf) has really impressed me. Their clone of Gucci’s Envy Me, Derby Clubhouse Fairmount, was a swing and a miss. I ended up selling it because it just didn’t have any oooomph. Katarina Light Blue, clone of YSL’s Manifesto, is interesting but not a favorite. I bought Club de Nuit, clone of Coco Mad, and LOVED it. CdN beget my purchase of Milestone which I really like but it’s so close to CdN that they are pretty much interchangeable with Milestone being the slightly more masculine one. Now, back to Fleur... it definitely has that distinct Armaf DNA that’s present in both CdN and Milestone. Here, the fruit and obviously the florals are enhanced. There was a lot of information for the Club de Nuits and hardly anything about this one. What we have here is fraternal triplets, distinctive with obvious similarities/relation. It was no shock to me that Fleur is also a dupe of Coco Mad. Of the three, Fleur is my personal favorite. It has that effervescent peach blossom/champagne note that gives it an aldehydic twist. The strawberry is bestowed in a subtle way. I have noticed strawberry is a tricky fruit in perfume. It can be overpowering making the fragrance cheap smelling and juvenile. That’s why I ultimately had to boot Hanae Mori’s Butterfly. Fleur blends the strawberry seamlessly with the other notes. Performance is outstanding. I sprayed this on before bed and it was still twittering like a cardinal when I woke up. It projects but not obnoxiously. Personally, growing up with fraternal triplets, I can attest to the fact that there was a pretty one, a hybrid, and a “dowdy” one. Their personalities corresponded accordingly so I don’t feel all that guilty saying that. Fleur is absolutely the pretty sister, both in presentation and personality. That bottle with the white leather stitching and Swarovski accents is stunning!!!! There’s also an art-deco detail overlay on the front of the glass that’s really intriguing to me. The bottle shape is also really cool. It’s a curved, half circular shape that might not be unique but looks really chic when done right. Fleur layers really well and plays nicely with other fragrances. In summation... • Season: Ideal for spring/summer but I feel like this is appropriate for year-round also. • Scent: 8/10 • Bottle: 10/10 • Price & Availability: 6/10- This is getting harder to find and even discount sites like Fragrancenet wants a pretty penny for it. I personally feel like it’s worth the asking price but Armaf has built a reputation around being an affordable, dupe house. A high price tag defeats that purpose when you can get what they are imitating for a similar price. You can’t really sample this anymore. I wasn’t able to find a single sample for sale. If you enjoy any of the CdN’s or any of the myriad Coco Mad adjacent fragrances, odds are you’d like this. Blind buy at your discretion. • Longevity: 9/10 • Projection: 7/10 • Final grade: 8/10- It’s really lovely. It’s maybe a little redundant and not super unique for today’s standards. For the broad fruity/floral category that Fleur falls into, it’s one of the better that I’ve tried. Quite honestly, if you didn’t know better, you would probably think this was a niche house creation or a quality designer fragrance from Dior or Chanel. The bottle is a showpiece. Vanity/tray display worthy.

Now that it's spring I decided to give it another go Well,I still like it.more than last time.now I think that spring is best season for it.ulso wearable in not very hot summer days and nights As soon as I spray it,strawberry is the first note that jumps up to my nose.I love strawberry when it's done right and there are very rare cases with non-syntethic non-childish strawberry notes.oros fleur is one of this rare cases(yves saint Laurent mon paris,miss Dior Cherie 2005 and cartier la panthere are other cases that I like strawberry in them)it's a floral fruity but in such an elegant, sophisticated way that makes me love it Strawberry and little amount of other fruity notes blend very well with a gorgeous,slightly powdery flower bouquet.in my previous test I could pick up ylang ylang but now non of the floral notes over powers.the only floral note that I can see it in this blend is rose,such a light,sweet and modern face of rose that you can easily love it without being a rose lover Drydown is all about this super pretty floral powdered by a touch of musk and vanilla,while still a faint whisper of fruits mingles with them This is totally different with what I remembered from my last try.so different that I suspect I had tried other perfume of oros line(which in fragrantica is mentioned as a separate brand named oros) I prefer to buy popular and well known perfumes and enjoy reading numerous reviews before buying them but in this case,oros fleur is so lovely smelling, elegant,feminine,sensual and perfect that I have no choice but add it to my wishlist.smells very high end and can be cousin of Mon Paris, of course a tad powdery and patchouli-less version of it which lacks it's sharpness and has a soft sweetness instead of being syrupy sweet It has very good sillage in first hour which then reduces to soft to moderate but longevity is amazing.it has a delightful,devine musky floral drydown which lingers for the whole day and another plus is it's luxurious bottle It's not revolutionary,it's not one of a kind but I can't say of doesn't have anything special as it's amazingly pretty,versatile and guaranties lovely comments of others around you A good option as a gift and I highly recommend you to try it on your skin and at least twice

Recieved a sample of this one today,I've never heard about it and now I'm surprised,how can such a gorgeous fragrance be this much underrated?!! It opens with sharp fruity notes,so I really don't like the opening but very soon it calms down to a gorgeous,feminine lush scent which is very well blended.it's very difficult to name notes saperately but I can detect ylang ylang,lots of fruits,very blended so there is no sharp or childish fruit note standing aside,there is also musk and vanilla in it's warm lovely dry down..I don't know how it's categorised as floral,for sure it's an ariental floral(just because there is no oriental fruity) I find this scent mature,for a confident attractive woman..it has also a sexy vibe It's sweet,but not too much sweet,I can feel a faded bitterness among it's soft and warm sweetness I think best season for it is fall,maybe also spring but I'm not sure about it yet There is just a problem,it was a strong scent with good sillage during first hours,now after almost 3-4 hours when I wanted to sniff my wrist in order to observe the dry down,there is nothing left!!..I am pretty dissapointed I'm going to give it more time and try it more,because I'm ill today and maybe my body chemistry is not doing well

Foi um tiro no escuro totalmente acertado. Que perfume lindo! Elegante e sofisticado. Flores e frutas que se funden de uma forma harmoniosa e perfeita. Não conheço nada parecido. É um perfume que combina com todas as estações do ano de dia ou de noite. Remete a eventos alegres e chama a atenção em qualquer lugar. Invade um ambiente, mas de uma forma agradável. Dura mais de 12 horas com certeza. É um perfume que não incomoda ninguém, muito pelo contrario. Todas as vezes que usei, alguém me perguntou sobre o perfume. Acho que é um dos melhores que já tive e já tive muitos ao longo da minha vida. Com certeza, no top 3. Lamentavelmente, difícil de conseguir e lamentavelmente parece que a marca parou de produzir novas fragrancias.

Sweet Mixed dried fruits, Flowers, flowers, flowers and pretty white musk. Stunning. The poster below says: Spring in a bottle". Couldn't have been more accurate. It smells almost identical to the really pretty Cartier Panther concentrate perfume that was out some time ago. But a bit more Floral. Stunning
