Coral Shell

Almost a decade since the last person reviewed this. What a shame.... This is way better than most of the hyped scents people talk about ad nauseam . Something kinda odd about this is it kinda smells like pumpkins. But prepared my an Italian grand aunt by the sea. Immortelle and mint make the other cooking herbs feel wearable and chic. So happy I bought this on a whim lowballed the seller and he offered and even lower price god knows why but it was kind of him. Update: the more I wear it I kept getting reminded of something. I love scents that are based on the Mediterranean landscape. Immortelle in particular is my favorite of all notes. And I have to say in here it reigns supreme. So I wore it side by side with a few other immortelle scents I own and the one it most closely resembles was none other than the one and only Sables. Especially the heart notes into the dry down. I have two shirts with one sprayed on each and they smell the exact same. This one just has a fresher green lift to it. It is essentially sables reinterpreted for the summer. Also reminds me of lush’s Hungarian fronds. That fennel is strong here and I guess it what gives this that pumpkin licorice like smell. And when I wear sables I’ve been told I smell like pumpkin pie.

An unusual surpprising perfume. No marine or salty note but leaves a strong impression of a sunny windy day on a Mediterranean coast. Very intensive and quite melancholic like an anded love.

First time ever that I want to scrub a fragrance off my skin. This really reminds me of a musty cellar filled with moldy herbs. Very strange scent. Long lasting.

Very strange. I blind-bought it (just because I love Ortigia) and when I received it and first applied it, I was disappointed. It took half hour (some notes faded a bit, others blended) and after that 1⁄2 hour I couldn't stop taking my wrist to my nose. It only got better and better. Very enigmatic, quite unique. I love it.

For those who love the scents of the Mediterranean this is the best essence. A sunny day in the flora by the sea. Very punchy, strong personality, remarkable durability. Absolutely ideal for summer.
