Orphic Vanilla

I purchased the discovery set and this one immediately stood out to me then Exclusive Pleasures. It’s a luxurious, warm, addictive and very well balanced and crafted natural vanilla. The cardamom and vanilla is like that of Loubirouge really delicious and addictive but never quite crossing into gourmand territory because of the smokey accord which grounds it. There’s a similarity to spirituse double vanilla but this is a bit sweeter, more warm, creamy and leans slightly more feminine. This is a soft fluffy natural smelling vanilla, incense and cardamom cloud with a beautiful amber and tonka blended to perfection. It’s not powdery, it’s soft, smooth and velvety but it projects. It’s not your typical plain vanilla so it’s full bottle worthy for me. If Loubirouge and Spirituse Double Vanille had a baby this would be it. If you enjoy those perfumes you will love this. This would be too warm for summer but all other seasons are perfect. 8/10 overall as it lasts, projects and smells expensive/well crafted. Perfect for going out in the evenings or even cuddling up at home.

I am new to this Brand along with Ahwaz Perfumes and have now tried all of the fragrances available owing to the generous samples provided with my orders. For me, Orphic Vanilla is the stand out fragrance-a beautiful scent-long lasting with above average silage so I deem it to be excellent value for money. The fragrance itself is mainly vanilla mixed with dried fruits but it’s not overly sweet or cloying as each note blends seamlessly and the dry down is divine when the Tonka bean note makes an appearance. Whenever I wear this perfume, my young Niece, and Nephew always say “Auntie, you smell delicious!”

Very smooth and realistic vanilla. Not to sweet too be cloying and not to sweet to be overly feminine. The incense and cardamom spice it up enough to be unisex. Light sprays, I think it would work in most weather. On hot days it could easily become overwhelming, If sprayed heavily.

Just got this and I have to give it a full test and report back but I notice that it’s similar to Tonkade by Laboratorio Olfattivo which I already own. This predates Tonkade by one year. I’ll see where it goes.
