Alibi Eau de Toilette

I accidentally purchased this version online when I was trying to buy the Eau Sensuelle version. I’m not mad about it. It definitely smells like something I’ve smelled before, but I can’t quite figure out what just yet. Anyway, the first time I wore this I kept getting wafts of myself and thinking “damn, I smell good.” Sometimes that’s all I want in a perfume, just to smell darn good, and this perfume definitely fulfills that and then some. It’s honestly just your basic fruity floral, but it is my favorite basic fruity floral. I really love this stuff, it smells great, lasts 5-6 hours on clothes, and is affordable. I cannot believe this line of perfumes doesn’t get more hype, because it is really a fantastic perfume for what it is. The eau Sensuelle version smells nothing like this one, but it’s really nice, too. Every time I have worn this I have received at least one compliment, it is a crowd pleaser perfume with moderate sillage. I highly recommend the Alibi line of perfumes, as this one, especially, has become my favorite spray and go daily wear. I love niche, but this one is just an easy love, no complications.

Cute, sweet, somehow I feel sweet apple here. I would say it is a girly happy scent. Longevity is not impressive unfortunately..can barely smell it. Edit: it is way better then I thought at first. Lotus note keeps for so long on the skin- several hours. I like it!

It seems every designer right now has their “version” of a particular type of scent that is en vogue at the moment for a summer scent. This is ODLR’s version of Scent of Peace, Éclat d’arpege, Eaudemoiselle Floral, Burberry Body Tendre, you get the idea. Like a dryer sheet, soapy, laundry musk that’s great for hot weather to keep you smelling good. That is as long as you don’t overspray. Otherwise, it can become headache inducing. A bit of a funny story, a friend got this perfume and upon first application, thought it was very light. Because of that, she went overboard with the sprays. Her words to me were, and I quote, “Girl, when that perfume got heated up on my skin, I couldn’t get away from myself fast enough!” Oh, really now? Wow! 👀 Thankfully, this happened while she was at home, so others were not subjected to it. Where I live, the summers are very muggy and 🔥HOT🔥. This type of scent is what many wear to stay smelling nice. Granted, not very creative, but then there isn’t a whole lot that can be created to be able to be worn during hot summer without giving you or others headaches, and even then, scents like this still need to be worn moderately so not to be headache inducing. My advise is to test at home first to see how it wears on you before wearing it out in public.

This starts out a bit weird on my skin but once it settles in, it’s so pretty! It smells high end clean and polished. I find this be a fragrance that would be perfect in any situation. It’s not super unique but it’s well blended and elegant. It gets better and better the longer you have it on. I find the longevity pretty good for an edt. Probably about 4-5 hours and then it becomes a skin scent . This isn’t overly fruity, or floral or musky yet it’s a great blend of all of those! I enjoy it and will probably wear it for a daytime scent while the weather is still warm!

This is very pretty but so ephemeral. I used three sprays and could barely smell it on myself. What a shame because it's a really well-balanced scent even if it's totally unoriginal. Would say it's a safe blind buy for those who like any of the scents in the "this perfume reminds me of" category except that you really should should test beforehand to ensure that faintness and poor longevity aren't an issue for you.

right off the bat I will say it is super girly in a non-childish, mature way if that's possible. although I do think a guy could pull it off (since I'm a guy and I love this) the statement still stands. it's very creamy, not like "milk & butter rich creaminess" but more of a fragranced, lotion-y creaminess, but it's not bad or off-putting or even cheapens the fragrance, no in fact, this fragrance smells very lush and expensive to me, probably because it is so simple. Okay now with all that said what does it actually smell like? well it's orange-y, think of the most sweetest, fragrant mandarin orange you can imagine and now imagine getting it's peel and inhaling the sweet oils that come gushing out of it as you peel it. so it is citrus-y, but in a very luxurious way I can't stress enough how sumptuous this is. After looking past the orange i get this clean simple white floral smell, sweet mandarin orange peel with a slight, subtle white floral. it's very fresh and charming and SIMPLE orange peel with white florals and that's about it, but I love this it's definitely one I'll be buying a full bottle of. so clean and cutesy, young vibes without being immature or childish. 7.75/10

A lovely cocktail! The edp version made me sick. Sometimes the edt versions smell better on my skin than the edp. And this is how it happened with this one. I think this is a feminine everyday scent. Something I had looking for. PS. The new flanker "Sensuelle" is nothing like edp or edt. It's soft but sexy-sensuelle scent. No resemblance on my skin to previous versions.

Nice fresh summer scent. Give a little citrus in a bowl add some peony and fill it with musk - there you are. Nothing particularly wrong with it but that kind of summer fragrance you smelled a hundred times before. Something between Light Blue, Chance eau Tendre, Bvlgari Omnia citrine, Moschino funny and so on. Longevity is short. But: Crowd pleaser. I was complimented by woman and men (and son as well) ;) Looking forward to try the EdP.
