Bella Night

Smells like Baccarat Rouge 540, which I figured would be the case based on the Base Notes. This is a Baccarat Clone/Knockoff except it doesn't last long on the skin and has no projection. Ocar De La Renta went out of their way to produce a dupe. I call it Osccarat Rouge.

got this as a gift from my mom, love it! the bottle is absolutely gorgeous & smells amazing! unlike most perfumes with similar notes, this one isn't as overwhelming. it does have a very weird scent to it though sometimes, kind of like a bathroom??? like bathroom tiles..?? it's very odd.. but not common when spraying it though. maybe my odor sensors act up a little when i wear it, lol!

Agreed with the other reviewers comparing this to BR540. Absolutely. I had no idea they would smell so similar, but yep, they do. This is just a much weaker version of it. With that being said, I think there are longer lasting and more inexpensive fragrances out there that also smell like BR540 so if that's what you are looking for, try one of those instead.

This smells a lot like cloud by ariana, almost identical. I do like this one I just wish it was slightly less sweet and lasted longer. It has a creamy accord that I really enjoy.

Interesting. Earlier reviewers note a cigarette smoke in this fragrance. What I felt on my forearm almost immediately after the spritz - and it was the only thing I did - was burned sugar, like in crème brûlée. And indeed, when I went home and checked the ingredients, there it is - sugar in the base! So, no top, no middle, straight to the sugar base for me. Obviously, this is not a thorough review, just an impression if I may. I can also see people are voting sugar as the dominant note, so I’m not entirely off.

Smells exactly like Ariana Grande Cloud. Another sweetened BR540 dupe, very unoriginal.

The bottle I got started off with some berry fruity notes, then within seconds it faded and only smells like a powdery latex glove... it probably a good thing this one’s discontinued.

Bella Night is a VERY watered down version of Baccarat! Even when I sprayed it on my wrist it literally started running down my arm like water! The initial spray is alcohol and that’s it!! No projection or sillage. I don’t actually get the fragrance until the dry down and it’s very light. I do get wafts here and there like baccarat, but I also get a lot of alcohol. Like idk if this needs more oil concentration or something. Total waste of money in my opinion...should be called “Bella Bedtime” because that’s the only time I would even consider wearing it. I doubt this will last in the winter. You definitely will have to overspray I mean 10+ sprays and nothing less if you want some type of projection/sillage lol.

Alright, so the design team of Oscar de la Renta met and said "let's use Baccarat Rouge as a template and give this fragrance a run for their money!" Fellow Fragranticians, me thinks you are correct that this is a sound dupe for FK's Baccarat Rouge. There's no telling which is which, the only shy difference is that Bella Nights has more of an alcoholy/smokey opening that reminds me of smoked herring....yes......that smoked fish mum would buy when I was a child, debone then wash with hot water before combining it with onions, garlic, tomatoes and olive oil to create a sauce for dumplings. However, don't fret, this is fleeting before it calms down into Baccarat Rouge in an Oscar de la Renta Bella collection flanker. So, if you love Baccarat and want a more affordable dupe, try this. For me, there is no fondness for Baccarat Rouge, which smells like a precious bone linament my grandfather used to use before his passing in 2003. He wasn't THAT good to me and neither is Baccarat with it's 3,000TT off price tag. Perhaps if I care I can get a decant one day but that would cost too. Oscar de la Renta had good longevity and is not as creamy as Ariana Grande's "Cloud" So if you are collecting these Bella flankers then you'll buy this. I have the first three and since I don't need to smell like Baccarat Rouge I can pass on this one. I prefer to have fragrances that vibe with me, as opposed to just collecting. Otherwise, do enjoy your fragrance in whatever version you choose to purchase!

I really didn't know what to expect when I reached for the tester of Bella Night instore and applied several spritzes to my inner wrist. The immediate response was to recoil as the potent, overwhelming nature of the top notes hit my nostrils. For the first ten minutes or so, I regretted having sprayed this on skin, but after the scent began to settle, it became much more palatable. Bella Night has an anise/licorice note on my skin without the note being listed in the scent pyramid. It brought to mind the original Lolita Lempicka in all its licoricey glory. I know many reviewers compare this fragrance to the popular Baccarat Rouge 540, and whilst I do see the similarities, it is not a perfect replica and there are many BR540 copies that smell much more appealing such as Ariana Grande's Cloud and Armaf's Club de Nuit Untold. This fragrance baffles me with its projection, having an overwhelming sillage cloud when first applied and then very quickly dissipating into an almost intimate skin-scent after a few hours. It has very lacklustre performance and despite being named "Bella Night" I don't think it has the strength nor the potency to suit an evening out. I must admit that I like the Bella packaging, with its intricate floral detailing. The dark navy-blue bottle of Bella Night is very striking in person. It's a shame that the fragrance doesn't have the same kind of appeal.

Oh No! They were right! LOL. When you first spritz this out -- you REALLY do get a nice impression of Baccarat Rouge 540 ! One of the closest I have ever smelled ! I was enchanted. But the honeymoon lasted about as long as eating an ice cream cone. The dry down is so faint. It smells like Ariana Grande Cloud made a blueberry & creme tart -- it's actually nice, smooth & creamy in it's faintness. I am HOPING that letting it mature will help people around me smell it as well. I'm gonna give this 20 sprays tonight then put it away. The bottle looks nice in the pictures but feels very cheap when you handle it. Was it made with a 3-D printer ? Very cheap plastic facade . Grade: ???????? Please make this one work......please ............... UPDATE: This has a very mild "smokey" vibe in the dry down / background which I always felt like Cloud had as well. I like that a LOT. I am TRYING so hard to make this work !!!!!! As an experiment: I am decanting ALL my BR 540 clones into one single mini sprayer - just to see what will happen.....

Now I don’t smoke and in fact can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke. My take on whether it’s a BR 540 dupe? Unfortunately, there seems to be a smoke note in there, and that to me, every single time I spray it ( before or after dry down) it smells like I have just smoked and had sprayed a weak version of BR 540 ! The two notes are so intertwined to my nose that I thought maybe it’s my body chemistry or just me. The other day I recognised that same rose+ cigarette smoke on another woman in a cafe. I asked her and she confirmed she was wearing Bella night!

a slightly less aromatic BR540. The citrusy fruity opening literally lasts 5 seconds, then this turns into the mid/dry down of Baccarat. Insanely close, even in how they wear. As much as the ppl love a br dupe, i'm shocked this is discontinued...

Fruity woody mossy A bit harsh perhaps...? Just not my preference Similar feel to world, nomade, Kate spade NY, daisy intense .. ish

This is basically BR540 with poor projection and longevity.
