Bella Rosa

This has honestly been on my to-try list for a while. After watching and reading so many good reviews of this, I really wanted to blind buy it but I was hesitant since I didn't have a grasp of this brand's perfume quality. But, the other day I got a Bella Blanca sample with an order and I was quite pleasantly surprised by how it smelled, so I went ahead and ordered Bella Rosa...and wow it's beautiful! I totally get why people say it's a perfect bridal perfume; this is such a soft, elegant and sweet rose scent! The rose is there but in a very harmonious blend with the other floral notes. It's definitely not an in-your-face ROSE rose; it's not a super realistic raw type of rose (like Dyptique's Eau Rose e.g), but more of a dreamy and hazy fantasy rose in a really good way. This also does smell kinda powdery but not overly which I like. There is also a soft sweet vanilla-y vibe going on, I think it's the amber. The patchouli isn't that noticeable so for those who dislike patchouli don't worry about it! Longevity wise I think a lot of people already know but it's not good (1-2 hours). It's also a soft scent to begin with and it doesn't really project sadly. I also wish the mandarin top note lasted longer because it fades very fast, in 3 minutes in fact (I timed it). Just wanted to put it out there for reference. I still really love this scent for what it is though! This is definitely going into my fav rose scents I've smelled so far and I'm definitely going to be wearing this. Comparisons - Delina: I don't think this is similar to Delina; Delina is way stronger with the litchi and the vibe is entirely different. The only overlap I can think of is that they both contain rose and both have a sweetness going on, but that's about it. NOT a dupe. - Bella Blanca vs Bella Rosa: For those wondering what the difference is between Bella Blanca and Bella Rosa; Bella Blanca is definitely a more fresh white floral scent (but not the annoyingly strong kind of white floral don't worry), and it's juicy with that pear note and also a bit green. People said it's a bit similar to Chloe which I can see why. Bella Rosa on the other hand is definitely more powdery in comparison and it's more romantic/sensual but also really soft, and sweeter than Bella Blanca with that vanilla vibe. So, if you were thinking you don't need to own one if you already have the other don't assume that because they're definitely very different scents! I like them both.

I fell in love with the beautiful bottle of Bella Rosa after watching so many Youtube reviews, and I was smitten the minute I smelled it! I was passing through a Macy's, and of course because of the pandemic, you weren't allowed to smell anything and all the testers were behind the counters. I had to ask a salesperson to spray the paper but even through my mask, I could tell I was going to like it, and the minute I could take my mask off and I fully smelled it, I just fell in love with the softness of this fragrance. I promptly went home and looked online from a fragrance retailer and got it at a great price! This isn't a picked-from-the-garden kind of fresh rose fragrance, but a soft, gentle, creamy rose blended with other notes that makes it super feminine, sexy and sweet. I am usually not a fan of patchouli or amber but to my nose, this was blended in such a smooth way that it wasn't prominent or offensive to me. The first time I wore it out in public, I had someone who was masked and about 6ft away from me ask what I was wearing because it just smelled so gentle. That's the best way to describe this scent. Just recently, I noticed that when I'm warm, it helps project the scent and was surprised that others could smell this on me through their mask hours after I had sprayed this. On its own, I can get about 6 hours, but for more longevity, I like to layer this with Bath & Body Work's Rose lotion and perfume (another one of my favorites) and it is the perfect combination. B&BW Rose is a sheer, light rose/jasmine/musk scent and together layered with Bella Rosa, is heavenly. It is just beautiful and I love the way this perfume makes me feel:) This is definitely one of my favorites:)

I think I figured it out! To me, this is something like Mon Guerlain EDT (minus the lavender) with a La Vie EST Belle/Flowerbomb vibe. A check at the notes of both Bella Rossa and MG EDT, shows they indeed have several similar notes. I struggle to detect the rose. It’s there but it blends with everything else. It’s nice. It’s growing on me. Also as others have said, it’s nothing like Delina. I can see the comparison to Valentino Donna, which has been discontinued. Bella Rossa is not as powdery as Donna and may not be similar enough for die hard fans like me. My husband likes it so I will keep it. Plus, I only paid $1 plus tax because it was on clearance at TJ Maxx for $26 and I had $25 in reward earnings to use. Overall, a nice bargain, blind buy. I think it’s a nice gift option for a wide range of ages. A beautiful bottle to grace your dresser! Note: I put up a review earlier, and meant to edit it. Oops. Update: I am absolutely loving this! Crazy how it was a bit off putting at first and now it’s all I want to wear. It absolutely reminds me of Mon Guerlain EDT (not EDP) with rose instead of lavender. It lasts quite a long time on me. Though it supposedly doesn’t have a vanilla note, on my skin I definitely get vanilla in the dry down. I think this is under appreciated. It could easily become my signature scent. After three days of exclusively wearing Bella Rosa, I’m extremely impressed. On me it has great longevity! I could smell the beautiful trail almost 12 hours later. It begins fairly bright and fuzzy, and dries down to a lovely, feminine creamy floral. Very nice! Gets me compliments. A keeper for sure.

I absolutely LOVE this scent. I bought it blindly solely for the bottle. This fragrance opens up a little fruity, but strong in the floral notes and has just a hint of a gourmand and powdery base. Some people have compared it to Delina and I can see the resemblance; besides that Bella Rosa doesn't have that rhubarb note, and I actually prefer this 100 times over to Delina. It is so so beautiful, honestly it's probably my favorite spring/summer daytime fragrance. I'm not a huge floral fan but this is floral done right. It beats out Roses de Chloe for me because of it's character, it's sweetness. The ONLY issue I have with it is performance - I feel like you'd need to spray this like 9 or 10 times to get the effect you want. The sillage is not great and the longevity is poor. It almost fades instantly on the skin; it lasts quite a lot longer on your clothing and the dry down is beautiful. That said, I won't mind spraying it over and over because it's so gorgeous. This would be one you'd have to carry a travel size atomizer with you during the day. But I still love it. EDIT - Lasts a LONG time on your clothes. I sprayed it at 5 pm last night on my sweater, 2 sprays - it was strong throughout the night, I could keep smelling myself, and this morning it's still there and going strong - which makes me happy!

A beautiful floral fragrance with apparent pink pepper, white floral and amber notes coming through strongest for me with a little disappointment that the rose doesn’t come through stronger. I did however layer it with a subtle rose scent, which brings the less discernible notes to the fore. It resembles Coach Floral & layers well with other pink peppery florals to accentuate the powdery goodness alongside the white floral that makes this perfume stand out alongside the rose and amber notes. Although the longevity isn’t as impressive as it could be, it’s a subtle lingering scent that works well in the morning and afternoon by fading for the evening so that it can be reapplied or another scent can be applied. Tbh it’s no biggie it’s not longer lasting because it’s inexpensive unlike (any of) my La Vie Est Belle fragrances (except Printemps Bouquet), so I can afford to reapply it in the day and simply get another bottle without a second thought. As a U.K. fragrance lover it’s incredibly low cost compared to the USA, so maybe we could all help each other out with shipping fragrances to each other!! 🌹

A very modern, lovely fragrance for the Oscar de la Renta woman who wants to move into the new era with the brand. It's also wonderful for the perfume connoisseur, especially with that gorgeous display bottle which is quite romantic. After buying the Blanca, I decided to get the Rosa! Yes indeed, this time the 100mL flanker since I love rose fragrances, especially those that do not give that medicinal quality when mixed with peach, you know..... The lively balance of pink pepper, freesia, rose and jasmine moves skillfully into the middle and endnotes, giving me a creamy vibe, sweet...almost like pink-tinged icing on a lush birthday cake. Is it worth it? Yes, depending on what you're looking for. I've always wanted something from Oscar in my wardrobe and now I've got it. I believe it's suitable for women of all ages and stages. To me, at least, "Bella Rosa" lends a good vibe...yes, an enriching vibe. Now on to the Essence.

This one is misleading. The notes make it seem like it's going to be bright and fresh and something similar to a Mademoiselle. But the notes are seriously off. There is really nothing bright or fresh about it. It's pretty cloying and the florals are nothing like rose. Although the notes don't really indicate it, this is a heavy powdery white floral. I personally don't like any white florals, so this is really not for me. It's super sweet and nothing like Mademoiselle or Blooming Bouquet. Those are fresh and bright florals. This actually really really really reminds me of La Vie est Belle L'Eclat. Really strong white florals with a powdery and sweet ambery vibe.This one actually is more white floral than the original Bella Blanca. I find Bella Blanca to be a bit more fresh like Eau Tendre. If you're a white flroal kind of person or really love L'Eclat you will seriously enjoy this.

I absolutely love this scent! It dries down to a syrupy sweet rosey scent on my skin. I wore it to my boyfriend's house and he told me "you smell like a hotel lobby," which I took as a compliment. It's a very mature sweet scent. My only gripe is that it doesn't last too long; even though I'm an over-sprayer, I got maybe 6 hours of wear from it People compare this to Delina Exclusif. I do feel that this gives the same feeling as Delina Exclusif (with the sweet rosey scent), but the main difference is that Delina Exclusif gets that sweetness from vanilla whereas this one (likely) gets it from the Amber. I do own a decant of Delina Exclusif and I definitely understand the resemblance. Again, this "reminds" me of Delina Exclusif; that doesn't necessarily mean it's a "dupe"

This is my everyday kind of perfume, it's appropriate for every occasion and every season. It's sweet, but not overly so. The base notes make it cozy & smooth, while white florals along with mandarin give it a bit of freshness. It's slightly peppery & woody too. Rose is a star of this scent, it's not a frest rose, it's more jammy in my opinion. The sillage on me is moderate for the first 1-2h, then it becomes an intimate scent. It stays on clothes for ever however. Overall, I ADORE this perfume. It's warm, cozy, floral, a bit powdery, soft spicy... wifey material for sure. I wish it projected a bit more, but it makes it more intimate, so if you're going to hug someone, they might just want to stay like that forever haha!

My second review on Bella Rosa. I bought it some time ago, because it is such a pretty fragrance in a beautiful bottle - and there was discount. :) Bella Rosa is a lot like La Vie est Belle en Rose, but softer and more powdery. Sillage is soft and lasting power weaker than en Rose. It smells heavenly, I love freesia and I love how rose is done in Bella Rosa. Oscar de la Renta was my favourite of the great fashion designers, his fashion and many perfumes were and are ultra feminine and beautiful in a more traditional way. I only wish Bella Rosa had a bit better lasting power. I will be wearing it a lot this spring, to bring beauty to the times that are tough.

Blind buy gone perfectly well. Beautiful, feminine, elegante & delicate. I can feel a bit of a sweetness & spicyness trough the beautiful warm rose. Unfortunatly, it’s gone so fast, so if you don’t mind to reapply often. It’s powdery but it’s fresh, it’s also sweet. Definitaly wifey material. I would use this as a wedding perfume. The bottle is also so so beautiful. I bought a gift set with Bella Blanca & Bella Rosa. And definitaly, Rosa is my favorite one. Sweeter, juicier, still so delicate & feminine. It’s a sweet modern rosey/flowery fragrance, in the same veine as Flowerbomb or LVEB, but way lighter. 🌹

I absolutely love it! It’s a powdery sweet rose but not the powdery that makes you sick but gentle and delicate. Together with freesia and jusy a little bit of spicy pink pepper makes the perfect combination. Luckily I can’t feel the sandalwood and patchouli. The only rose perfume that I like and the bottle is omg. Unfortunately the persistence is very poor as all the collection is. From all the collection Bella Rosa is the most beautiful. I have also Delina and I absolutely prefer this over Delina. They aren’t clone for sure just the same category but Bella Rosa is much more gentle and feminine.

Blind buy purchase. Rose perfumes are my kryptonite, so I had to check this out. This is a gorgeous rosy white floral. There's a natural freshness, sweetness, and powdery quality to it that is just so delicate and pretty-smelling. The only downside is how quickly it fades on me, which is such a bummer. Performance wise, this is on the weaker side, unfortunately. On the plus side, though, it's really hard to "overspray" this. Scent-wise, I am in love. Performance-wise, I'm left wanting more. This would be a pitch-perfect bridal perfume if it had better longevity, in my opinion.

This is a beautiful, fresh, airy floral. The rose is rather lovely - light and ethereal, and pretty much what I was looking for. It's elegant, not old-fashioned. Office friendly. I have never tried any Oscar de la Renta fragrances before, and based on the price I wasn't expecting this to perform as well as it does, nor to be as well balanced. A pleasant surprise and I will be checking out other scents in the range, based on this. Layered this with Flowerbomb today, and they are somewhat similar; Bella Rosa added a sweetness to Flowerbomb which works very well.

I love this! After all the raves on YouTube, I saw this while out perfume shopping, for a steal! It is really feminine, and a bet edgy--this is me! I wore this yesterday visiting the cemetery, visiting my sick Aunt, running a couple errands, and out to happy hour with my husband. It performed well, wasn't overbearing in the least bit. This is the type of fragrance that I will always want to reach for, but I can't because everything gets a whirl in my vast collection! This is very appropriate for most day activities, and I believe it to be a safe blind-buy.

I have never had a silage or longevity issue with this one, but since the sprayer is not a blaster, I spray a bit more than I would with, say, a Mugler. My advice is buy it if you find it for under $30, like I did, and spray everywhere. Wrists, inside elbows, bra, neck, hair, back of knees, and a walk through spray. If that doesn’t get you noticed, somebody has a problem with their sniffer. Also, if you happen to find Oscar de la Renta Something Gold, try that. It can be found for much less and it’s virtually, if not, the same perfume, in a cheaper bottle.

I've actually owned this perfume for quite some time now. (Got it really cheap at Ross.) First time wearing it today. I'm not typically a big rose fan, but this one I actually like. It's sweet, not overly rosy, and right up my alley. I even had someone at work say, "Oh, someone smells good! Smells expensive. I think I've smelled that before...some La Belle." To which I replied, "Oh, La Vie Est Belle?! Yes, I have that one too!" So, to have this fragrance compared to LVEB is a win win in my book, since I own (and LOVE) LVEB! Just had to share.

Fruity, moderately sweet rose with a touch of pepper on an amber base. I almost purchased this in store when testing it, but it's a tad sweet for me to wear. A linear, but attractive smelling perfume. I keep going to smell it on my hand. So, I liked Bella Blanco so much, that I ended up buying Bella Rosa too! I enjoy Harry Fremont's perfumes. Had no idea that as a Chanel 19. lover, I could be a fan of fruity florals and pink pepper until I smelled Bella Rosa and Issey Miyake Pure Nectar (no pepper in Pure Nectar). Perfect daytime fragrances.

This one was a Christmas present, and I could not be more pleased with it. Firstly, the bottle is so utterly gorgeous, secondly, so is the fragrance. This is the Rose scented perfume I've been in search for. Great for any season, but perfect in cooler weather. The Rose is prominent, yet freshened up and well blended with other floral accords. Also, it's lightly spiced and zesty. Sandalwood and Amber tame the fragrance from being too heavy, and are gorgeous at the drydown. Longevity and Silage are also good @ 4-5 hours.

I have this on my collection. I smelled this a few years ago and remember this smelled in first instance like pink pepper so when I found this at Ross for $20 I bought it having on my mind that pink pepper smell, now I smell it and I get this citrusy floral patchouli smell very alike to Chanel-Coco Mademoiselle and also Armaf-Club de Nuit, I have them too on my collection so I tried them at the same time and made a comparison, and for sure I can tell they smell the same to me, like a citrusy rose patchouli.

This perfume is a sweet and sexy rose that's modern and not old school. I absolutely love that it has no powder to it, I'm definitely careful with that about rose blends. But this one is a youthful rose with wood, making it very seductive...and the dry down is a vanilla wood with some floral and I'm not sure where it comes from but it smells lovey! Its also pretty long wearing too and its great for spring and summer. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a rose fragrance!!

Bella Rose is a gorgeously sweet, feminine rose perfume that I absolutely love EXCEPT it’s not as strong as I prefer and becomes a skin scent too fast on me. The bottle is beautiful too. However, for the price, I doubt I’ll repurchase due to the lack of performance on me. Now, if I ever find a big bottle for $25-30, I would buy 2 or 3 because I could then afford to reapply every few hours . If this had the performance I desire, it could easily become a signature scent for me.

Roses dusted with cocoa powder? Yes please! This is a beautiful, light as air, powdery rose with a subtle woody base. In the opening I briefly detect a refreshing, orange citrus note. The heart is the softest powdery rose, with an undercurrent of chocolate. The base has a light woodiness. It's a comforting, elegant, easy to wear feminine fragrance. Not to say a man couldn't wear it well, it doesn't lean typically masculine. I think I would happily wear this in any season.

If I hadn't found an unopened 3.4oz bottle of this for $26 bottles at Marshalls (I know, what the hell?) I never would gotten into this because I knew how weak the performance is. But I couldn't pass up that deal. This is something I mostly like to spray for the sake of smelling it and I don't expect it stay on me because I know it won't. Incredible fragrance though. So comforting. I spray it before I go to bed and it makes me feel like a fancy queen.

A beautiful sweet floral with a soft spicy opening. The rose smells fresh and modern and not vintage or old to me. Very feminine and can be worn by younger and older people just as easily. One of my most complimented perfumes and cheap enough that I can wear it to work and spray it on my scrubs with out feeling guilty. It's also crowd pleasing enough that I can wear it around patients without overwhelming anybody.

I'm so glad I gave this one a second chance. Maybe the first time I tested it, it was a bad batch. All I could smell in paper was alcohol, so I sprayed on my skin and again, all I smelled was alcohol, and then patchouli. I couldn't smell any of the things I had heard about this fragrance. So I tested it at a different store and it was completely different. This is such a lovely scent. I can't stop smelling it.

This is the most delicious floral perfume I have ever smelled. So intoxicating! I almost want to call this a gourmand ever though there aren't any gourmand-like notes in this. For some reason this just smells like vanilla cake batter and petals to me. It has just the right amount of sweetness, powderiness and floral. It's like a more floral version of La Vie Est Belle by Lancome. Yummy!

Bella Rosa is my signature perfume at the moment. I absolutely love this scent! I am not big on Rose scented fragrances but this is a creamy gourmand rose and I can't resist a sweet fragrance. The longevity is moderate on me I occasionally smell it on my clothes through out the day. Personally I'd consider this a fragrance to wear all year round.

I just adore this fragrance. I had a 30ml bottle, used it a few times and then forgot about it. I started using it again about 2 months ago. I’ve just bought my 3rd 100ml back up. It gets better and better everytime I wear it. It’s soooo comforting and I never want to be without it. Well rounded. It is fairly linear - but I like it that way.

Pretty. Pretty bottle, pretty smell. I could see this for any age, any occasion, daily wear. It’s sweet and feminine. The bottle really matches the scent and the name, just well rounded pretty perfume. It reminds me of sweet-tarts, the American candy, I think there is a Canadian and/or European candy with the same name but it’s different.

I love the floral notes in this perfume. It features pink rose, freesia, and patchouli. The additional citrus note add a brightness to the fragrance as well (mandarin orange). I find this can be layered with many scents and lasts a moderate amount of time. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys florals, especially rose.

I’m so surprised that people report longevity issues with Bella Rosa. It stays on my for quite a long time. I can spray it on and still smell it on my skin 8 hours later. That’s with 4-5 sprays. It’s my easy grap for daytime or bedtime scent. I have niche fragrances that don’t perform half as well.

What a lovely feminine, floral, classic perfume. Doesn’t offend anyone, office wearable, yet leaves sophisticated scent behind you. Every woman should have this in their collection, regardless of age.The beautiful design of the bottle itself - I’m so happy for the purchase.

The most beautiful bottle ever! The scent is very much like the bottle and the name, a beautiful sweet rose with a touch of patchouli to bring it down to earth. I love everything about Bella Rosa and regret I did not buy it today, when it was on discount.

smells beautiful like flowerbomb but with hr original Oscar scent , it's so weak the scent last longer that the Blanca for sure , but for $81 cad I'm sad I purchased , I'll have to carry around decant and keep spraying it , gorgeous scent tho my friends

Gentle and sensual scent. Verry good alternative and budget version of Delina Parfums de Marly. On my skin, it doesn't last as long, so I need to refresh the scent often. Sometimes I put it on before bed or spray my bedding with it.

This smells EXACTLY like Kourtney Yellow Diamond perfume by KKW and Lancome la vie est Belle but lighter. This also smells EXACTLY like Be Layered First KISS Exclusive which is a dupe for Delina Exclusive by parfumerie de marly.

As a floral girl, this is one of my favorite floral scents. The mandarin orange really comes through to support the rose and jasmine. I find that it lasts a pretty long time, and it's not a super polarizing scent.

I love chypre fragrances. Flowerbomb and pre 2020 Miss Dior are favorites. This one in particular with the rose does give me Miss Dior vibes. Gorgeous. Smells more expensive than it is.

Love love love! Found at a local Ross Very similar to LVEB to my nose but lighter and more rose heavy. Downfall is it doesn’t last worth beans on me. So good though rosy sweet patchouli

I love this so much. Its very powdery, creamy flower scent. It sits well on skin and it makes me feel so seductive. Beautiful scent matches beautiful bottle, this is a big plus.

I received this as a birthday gift from a close friend who knows about my perfume collection obsession three years ago. I didn’t own any Oscar de la Renta perfume before so I was curious to try this designer brand. Bella Rosa smells really nice; rose dominant and pretty with a light touch of the pink pepper in the opening. There is a note I am not familiar with and I am sure it is the freesia that seems to make its presence know within the first 5 minutes and remains throughout the duration of the scent. The sillage is very moderate so this is not a room filling scent but it is noticeable with the first 15 minutes of you wearing it if you walk past someone. I find myself having to be quite heavy handed with it, using 6 to 8 sprays to get more projection. The longevity is very short lived. It becomes a skin scent in less than an hour and it’s barely noticeable after 3 hours so you will have to reapply. Will I buy it again? No. It’s a lovely fragrance but it’s not a love and must have. I will enjoy it for as long as I have it and I tend to layer my fragrances anyways so I will use it up. By the way, the bottle is so pretty with the roses design in the front. I would have loved the gold bottle of its sister because of my gold obsession but only if the price is right.

I just got this today and was so happy at first - it smells like the most feminine & delicate powdery scent I've owned, I picture a Barbie sugar-princess wearing it (if it were lady-like, not juvenile, cause u know - a juvenile option would be to just smell like sweets and sugar, but this is a tasteful feminine rosy sweet🥰).. ANYWAYS. The longevity... It is making me sad 🥺 it barely lasts one hour on my skin... Actually even half an hour later I find myself trying very hard to sniff it on my wrist to smell something. Maybe I went noseblind? But I don't think that's the case. On clothes I detect it better. But max 3 hours and you just don't smell like you have perfume on - maybe just some deodorant. Same with sillage. Stays very close. Oh well. Scent itself is still very enjoyable, just gonna have to respray every couple of hours to properly smell something. Scent: 9/10 delicate, feminine - very pretty. Sillage: 4/10 Longevity: 3/10 Will I buy again after I finish my 50ml? I doubt it. Would like to find something similar but with better performance. EDIT: I'm not actually even keeping it.. lasting power is ~30 min and it's gone - unacceptable. Selling mine. :c

I ran across an open bottle of this in T.J Maxx today, a 1/3 of it was gone when I picked it up, so quite a few people had already tested it. I got out my test strips that I always carry and decided to test. This really reminds me of Ivanka Trump's perfume which I already own. It is a sweeter version. Almost like some sugary notes were sprinkled in. Ivanka Trump is for me anyway kind of a Coco Mademoiselle cousin or close dupe. Another perfume that I have that this reminds me of it Parfum Gres Lumiere Noire, which is a Coco Mademoiselle dupe. So, Bella Rosa is like Ivanka Trump and Lumiere Noire got mixed up and had a baby. I didn't buy a bottle of this, but I did buy the lotion because it will mix well w/ those other 2 perfumes in my collection. If you want something to replace Ivanka Trump since it has been discontinued and is going for insane prices on ebay and Amazon now and you like the Coco Mademoiselle scent profile but would like a sweeter version of that w/ a pink pepper kicker Bella Rosa is a good way to go.
