Bella Soleil

I originally purchased the 1oz bottle at Ross for 14.99, mostly because I wanted to collect all those beautiful bottles for my shelf. I love all of these light scents but they don't have the best longevity on my skin. I actually held off trying this one because I was convinced I wouldn't like the mango as they're not my favorite fruit. Holy Cow was I wrong! One hot early summer day I sprayed it and was blown away by the sweet fruity fragrance like walking through a tropical garden. I immediately looked for a 100ml bottle, which I was able to grab for under $30.00. Now I can spray to my hearts content. I also have Opulent Dubai which an inspired version of God of Fire. Its a Oriental Floral with tropical fruity accords. And plan on layering this over that to extend the longevity. Now I'm waiting for a really hot day.

This is love at first sniff. Fruity and pretty opening without alcohol smell, you're in your exclusive tropical high end resort 😉 Good sillage and longevity, although, like most fruity perfumes, the fruity notes are the first ones to fade. Then you're left with the same synthetic base note smell of the Oscar de la Renta Bella range, which I wish could be improved. Appreciate the semi transparent back of bottle design. I had a bottle of Bella Rosa before, only way to tell how much perfume I got in there, was to shake it and listen 🫠

Picked this up at Ross for $19.99 in the dead of winter; one spritz and I was in the Dominican Republic sipping a cocktail under the palm trees, wearing a red hibiscus blossom in my hair. Very fruity and tropical, and fun to wear in the dead of winter when you could use a bit of summer to lift your mood. Mixed fruits, mango, and musk make a pleasant combo. Definitely will pack this fun scent for the next beach holiday.

Reminds to me combo of two fragrances: Bella Tropicale by Oscar de la Renta + Yara tous by Lattafa. I would dare to say it is better to have both of those then Bella Soleil...lol.

This smells like sunflowers without the melon! I already own so many flankers of sunflowers... I find it unnecessary to keep this.

I sprayed this in the air at the chemist today, and first thing to come to my mind was mangoes! I quite liked this scent, but I would need to try it on my skin first before committing to a purchase. Could be a nice alternative to my beloved aquatic and citrus scents for summer. Update: Today I tried this on my skin at the chemist, and I'm glad I did. I was expecting to be hit with delicious, juicy mango, but instead I got a faint hint of mango overwhelmed by a musky, soapy "old person" smell - not an "old lady perfume" smell either! It was most unpleasant, so I will pass on this. Looking forward to trying some of the other perfumes in this range though.

In the dry down there is this appalling synthetic note, that is in 70% of perfumes these days. Pitty The other Bellas are nice. Not this one.

Not good. Not good at all. I had high hopes, but they came crashing down when I tried it.

Well, this is majorly disappointing. It reads like it will be juicy and floral, but all I’m getting is a very flat coconut odor. Not a nice coconut either, the smell of coconut oil gags me and that’s what I’m getting here. I LOVE a lush coconut but not that oil smell. Then there’s something sharp and astringent right under it. This is a hot mess. Where’s the fruits? Where’s the florals? Is this perfume? I think they accidentally bottled the wrong thing...

I grabbed a 1 oz bottle at Ross for $19.99. Total blind buy. Total win. Holy crap this smells soooo good. Super fresh punchy floral fruity. Very tropical but not the typical on the market tropical. Has some real unique floral spin to it. I M really so glad I grabbed this. Solid performance and silage as well for an affordable grab.

Blind bought this. Dries down to mellow fruity, reminds me of winding down to late days of summer memory.
