Bella Tropicale

Ok... so there is this odd background scent to it that I couldn't place and then I read below someone said it smelled like beer spilled on a bar floor. THAT IS IT! It's yeasty! Its solar, fruity, creamy, salty & a little dank. I really like it now that can pin point the scent. I mean, obviously it smells WAY better than beer on a pub floor - BUT - it does give that vibe/smell of walking into a one of those breweries that only sells high % IPA's and specialty beers - after a long night... the sweetness of the air mixed with all the different pours - but if it were on warm a tropical island :)

Blind buy, loved the scent notes and was hopeful this would be good, AND IT IS DELICIOUS!! So gorgeous, tropical florals and definate coconut dry down. Sexy and soft! Not like suntan oil scent, which I love but most don't. This is softer and eau so sexy!! Perfect for summer, if you like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, House of Sillage Mickey Mouse YOU WILL LOVE THIS ONE! Very similar, but still different in its own way.

I love this it smells like everything beachy. i smell sun, sand and salty beach water and its delicious. HOWEVER the scent does not last at all probably because its barely there to begin with, its a very light scent. so light that i might have to return it but wow its so amazing. if only it was stronger and lasted longer it might be my fav then.

This perfume smells just like pineapple, fruity and fun!! I would definitely wear this if I were going on a summer vacation cruise. The silliage is not big enough for people to notice if they're standing next to you, but they will notice if they hug you or you're getting cheeky on the cruise or something

This is a Pineapple tropical creamy good good goodness with a soft musk drydown. This is a hidden gem and rather affordable. Im so glad I own her!

Truly gives vacation vibes! Cheap way to get to the tropics:)) lol. Bright, crispy, exotic scent. Makes me happy!

Alright so I have previously owned bronze goddess and VS very sexy now Wild Palm and this smells very similar. However there are also some notes that make bella tropicale smell sweeter and better imo. I sold the other two after some time because they started to smell like a hand soap my grandma used to have and I just couldn't stand it so I had to let them go (made me sad cuz I rly liked them at the store). This one is like the same scent fixed so that it doesn't smell like that darn soap so I'm very happy with this fragrance! It's simply beautiful and combines some of my favorite notes. Perfect for summer.

Super strong Pineapple opening. Sweet juicy pineapple on the beach. That’s what I smell. A younger, more immature, and less classy version of Aerin Hibiscus palm. It’s a shame that the lasting power is only about 30 minutes. I sprayed 10 sprays and an hour into wearing it, I was searching on my skin, but no trace was left.

Is the bottle an absolute cutie? YES, the whole Bella range is beautiful especially for the price. But if ur careful with what takes up room in ur collection I recomend to try before you buy. I have had this for over a month now and the notes are growing on me a little more - but it was not love at first sniff. There is an odd note in here which I feel makes it unique, but I'm not sure it's in a good way. I get a strong sweetness but I can not smell pineapple. I think the ylang ylang is dominant with an underlying 'coconut water' note. Salty sea notes are definately present and the sandalwood and musk give it a woody creaminess. I think if they hadn't added the sea & coral notes it would have made this a much more generic fragrance. But I probabbly would have liked it more. It's very sweet & sour. I bought this in summer and it was a bit too full on for me then, the first 30min to 1hour is very loud - its now autumn and I'm finding it not as sickly, im hoping it grows on me.. It's not an all day scent it will maybe hang arround for 2-4hrs. Which is not bad considering the $price. I really wanted to love this. 💔

Like Bronze Goddess on steroids initially. Very heavy, tropical scent - would have said there was tiare flower in the mix there, but it's not listed in the notes. It does eventually quieten down, but considering its intense opening it doesn't last very long, nor project very well. I bought this because I had purchased Bella Rosa, and loved it - it's a hidden gem - with great longevity and projection, but it's not a 'loud' perfume. It is much more subtle than Tropicale. Have returned to this review, because we are now in a very hot period of weather in the UK, and I decided to give this another try, and I immediately notice that this has quietened down on initial spray. However, sillage is not great and after 2 hrs it's gone. Such a shame.

I bought it today because i found the notes very positively surprising and i liked it a lot. The coral reef gives an animalic and wild impression in this perfume and it makes it different from the others. A very nice inspiration from oscar de la renta ideal for summer evenings by the sea.

Sorry to have to say this, but why oh why, did I buy this 😭 £24.99 down the drain 😪 for 30ml. I got excited buying a few fragrances in TK Maxx last week, and hoped for the best with this one. It has that gone off fragrance smell, much like a cheap air freshener. I kept waiting for it to improve. Luckily I'm going to the pool, so will be replacing the scent with something I love, straight after my class. That would be my Mirto x

This smells like a cloying heavy air freshener. By no means a "young" scent. Probably it would have been better without marine accords.

The opening is bright and juicy, very tropical but something in the drydown doesn't feel good at all, maybe solar notes mixed with a musk. Definitely test first.

I like Oscar de la Renta but this one is definitely not for me.

This scent doesn't work on my skin. The start is promising, but then something happens that doesn't smell good. I partially agree with @Spicy, the drydown does not feel good. I can't wear this scent. It's a shame. I like some ODLR scents, so well well. The bottle is so pretty. Update: The scent has become softer. I don't know what has happened. Now marine and tropical flowers are present. But the projection is not good. Still, I'm starting to like this.

I'm not really getting the bronze goddess or hibiscus palm similarities but this is only my first wear. Today I smell a similarity to Ted Lapidus Pour Elle. Bella Tropicale is less floral and more fruity, more "flat" (for lack of a better word) than Pour Elle though. Its not a dupe of anything. This is a pretty perfume and makes me imagine I am on a tropical island. I like it.

This was disappointing and i was so hopeful. Aerin Hibiscus Palm and Soleil Blanc are in my top 10 fragrances and this smells nothing like them. Maybe the opening, but not that I could ytell, and definitely not in the dry down. The first 5 minutes is ok, even a little promising. That's where it ends, and all you get from there is a dirty musk. I'm glad I didn't blind buy.

The opening is a very juicy pineapple, very realistic for my nose, after that is settling into something creamy, coconut and ylang ylang. It reminds me of Beach Walk Replica but less coconuty and sunscreeny. Lasting power and projection are moderate on my skin. I will try it again in the heat. I like it, I don’t love it but is an affordable nice sent.
