Live In Love New York

I love this perfume. It bears a striking resemblance to Lancome Hypnose, only that Hypnose is slightly less sweet than Live in Love NY (and that is surprising for me to say because it took me a long time to accept Hypnose due to its sweetness.) I would recommend to go easy on the sprays because it can become so sweet that it may be annoying.

Wonderful flanker, smells like a floral-forward interpretation of Aquolina's Pink Sugar. Sugar frosted orchid and orange flower with a nice amber/musk base to even things out. Really good sillage, lasts at least 5+ hours. Perfect for spring or autumn, would work in the summer or winter too, good year-round offering.

YouTube made me buy this and I have no regrets. Great for the value and that's just it. Though this smells like an overpriced designer perfume it's nice. Slightly sweet with a fresh ending. Perfect for the summer on the run.

The notes are wrong...This is heavy on sugar! The same sugar I smell on Pink Sugar by Aquolina. How come this is described as the OG Live in Love with a twist if this is a complete different scent? There is nothing fresh or green on this one, it is a sugary sweet scent. The OG is beautiful, this is too girly, IMO. If you want some sugar, this is a good option. Using in the cold months, it gains more depth. During summer, all I get is sugar sweetness. Good longevity.

The original is a beautiful spring floral bouquet with crisp green and woody nuances. The same perfumers that created that version created this flanker which by implication is an improved reintroduction of the same scent. It is anything but. This is a sugar overload that's so sweet it makes my teeth hurt. Unlike the original that has an airiness to it, this is a heavy-handed dull blanket of sugar and amber. Flowers, what flowers? Despite all the floral notes listed I barely smell them here. I also concur with the Hypnose and Pink Sugar references as it has elements, that vanillary amber and sugar, that remind me of them too. Despite the claims, I don't understand the need to improve on something that didn't need any improving on in the first place. Best to stick to the original version, unless of course, you happen to like sugar bomb perfumes.
