Live In Love Paris

I love the scent of roses but have a very hard time getting along with most rose dominant fragrances. In fact I often find them headachy (Paul Smith Rose knocked me down for two days, and despite being a chronic migraineer, scent very very rarely is a trigger for me), and just too big, too loud, too much. But this is delightful! A fresh, delicate, green, very slightly aquatic, real garden rose (not aquatic in a calone heavy way, just in a lightly dew kissed way), the other florals are definitely present, especially the LOTV, but the rose is very much the star of the show. I've finally found my rose scent and I couldn't be more pleased!

This is a soft rose fragrance. It is not your heavy floral bomb type of perfume. Instead, this is light, airy, feminine, and has a very slight sweetness. It is perfect for spring and summer. It is reminiscent of visiting the rose area of an open air botanical garden where the fragrance of the different types of roses wafts through the breezes. Very pretty, light, feminine, and suitable for many occasions.

Too aquatic for me. Not enough sweetness. If your looking for a pretty sweet floral and your not a fan of aquatic notes like that of Marc Jacobs Mod, than this is not for you...or me.

The notes here are not accurate. On me this is a floral aquatic. Green, floral sweet, musky and very light.

It was a very cheap blind-buy and I love it! It's nothing special, but a slight summer wildrose-floral with a bit of citrus and musk. Does not resemble the original Live in Love, which is dry and green, with depth- this one is juicy, flirty, youthful. Orange flower and galbanum defo noticeable. It's a very pretty floral, but not overly sweet, I'd say it'd suit the younger generation, it'd make a perfect pressie for a 20+ girl. I'm in my 40s now, and when I wear it I feel 20 years younger.. :-)) If you like anything rose-related, but not heavy and spicy, give this a try. Lasting power is average, so respraying once a day will be a must.

Just got this in the mail, it's light, but all I get are pink roses and pink bubble gum, despite no tuberose being listed. Nothing aquatic about this at all. I was hoping this would be a fresh, aquatic, white/green floral with a touch of rose. Not at all what I was looking for.
