So de la Renta by Oscar de la Renta: This,The Original Oscar de la Renta,& Espirit de Oscar have always been my all time favourite Oscar de la Renta perfumes!! For some reason So de La Renta always takes me on drive along a beautiful Costal Road on a gorgeous warm summer's day & there's lovely flowers growing along the side's of the road & Their wonderful aroma is very much mixed into the fresh salty sea air!! I ALWAYS feel very uplifted when I Wear So & never fail to draw compliments too!! This deffo is a beautiful sparkling Floral that has a sea air aroma mixed into the formula to give it a lovely Floral freshness!! I certainly don't find this Perfume sweet in anyway!! Although I'm finding that my brand new 100ml bottle deffo isn't as long lasting as my old original which is now finished!! So I'm a little disappointed with it,as sillage with my original one was a complete monster!! A few sprays of it took me from early morning right into the night without even having to retouch it up!! This brand new one,I'm lucky to get 4hrs out of it before having to retouch it up!! So in my opinion the new bottle of So de la Renta I have has deffo been reformulated somewhere along the line & Deffo isn't the powerhouse it used to be!! To Be Honest I actually much prefer the original So de la Renta over this new one!! & Hope that Oscar de la Renta get many e.mails regarding this issue!! Absolutely so sad when this kind of thing happens to such a gorgeous original perfume!! This new bottle I have deffo does now behave like a proper etd where the original deffo was as good as an edp!! Deffo Still A Perfume I want in my vast perfume collection!!

Very lovely fragrance, like a fresher, lighter version of Marc Jacob's Daisy. I've had both frags on either wrist to compare, and I can say without a doubt, that Daisy dries down to a slightly musky floral retaining a honey scent. SDLR is a light floral with a sweet note that dries down to a light, sweet Osmanthus scent. I'm surprised Osmanthus wasn't listed as the main accord, since this is what I smell when I put this frag on. This is a very light, proper scent that sticks to the skin. Polite, and also polished is what it gives off. The first 30 seconds or so opens up with a white floral note, you can absolutely smell the floral. It is pure floral, no soapiness or coconut notes that I find in most white floral frags. This one is straight up flowers! About a minute or so in, the white floral dies down a bit to sweetness and a touch of powder, give a nice, light, powdery sweetness. To my nose, it smells of an intense Osmanthus scent, which I find lovely. Osmanthus smells like honey, but lighter. Finally, it dries down to just Osmanthus , and stays that way for the remainder of the sillage, which is a good 6 hours on me. As a side note, I would like to say that my skin is of a "warm" base, meaning it highlights any heady accords in s frag, such as vanilla, amber, musk, and other decadent notes more than green or floral notes. If your skin is like that, then you'll probably find the same thing happens to you as well. Overall, this is a lovely, polished summer scent or polite office scent.

Dewy Fruits & Clean White-Florals with a Vintage Vibe... Starts of freesia, gardenia and a dewy, tropical-fruit burst with aquatic, creamy, clean, citrus, tropical, sweet & fresh tones. As it transitions it deepens & intensifies into the heart and drydown. Although many individual notes are recognizable, the overall effect is a beautiful, nuanced floral scent with a faintly vintage vein, to my nose. This has an elevated vibe, and I could imagine wearing it strolling the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, wearing a vintage woven beach cover-up and 60s British Vogue make-up. Overall: gorgeous evoked orange-blossom scent with average performance for a spring-summer wearing experience although it could be worn anytime. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Contrast to Laura Laura Biagiotti: These are different, but you will catch a glimpse of Laura in the dewy tropical top notes here. So de la Renta has clean/soapy & creamy facets not found in Laura. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Inspire Ellen Tracy: These are different, but there are similarities with dewy fruity-florals over powdery florals. Inspire has a more forward lily of the valley, while So de la Renta has a more forward tuberose. Roughly equivalent performance. Update 07/24/24: Sprayed this on my wrist after a shower, and it really shines in the heat. Watery, dewy fruity-florals on top of powdery, creamy white-florals. The jasmine sambac is coming a little more forward now than I remember. Still a love.

So de la Renta has become my most reached for perfume this week. We are in the hundreds weatherwise, and there are no other florals in my collection that are as cooling and lovely as this one...the watermelon and fruits really lift the dewy lush petals of the lotus and gardenia in this perfume. It feels to my overheated senses that this perfume is like having my body wrapped in dewy, delicate flower petals. I’m in a spa and now the scent of high end face moisturizer enters and mixes in. This is the scent of cooling self-care and relaxation. I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s the visual that I have in my head to describe how this perfume makes me feel! Instantly cooling comfort to my mind. You gotta like floral perfumes to get this one and it may even lean a bit vintage for some people! I’m 100% in. 🩵 So DLR is lovely and I hope my senses will always perceive it this way. Sillage is voluminous and it can be used year-round though I love it in summer! I got this bottle at Ross for around $20 which is just amazing. Long live the floral-fruity. 😍 P.s. I had this one in my “maybe sell” cabinet for a year. So glad I re-tried it, I’m realizing my sense of smell is maturing/changing.

I have as of late focused my interest on florals in my collection, getting all swoony again over the heady whites and sweet roses well before springs upcoming bloomfest. "So" DeLa Renta I bought because I find the notes irresistible, mimosa and lotus with melon and clementine- with those,it just couldn't be bad in my book!! And true to my imagination,t the combination of notes perks up my mood and cheers my senses. I just love the soft powdery trail. So feminine!! I would so LOVE if the lasting power was several times better. If it was, It could be up in the stratosphere with the likes of Beautiful and Poeme, but I suppose for the price I should happily spray with abandon. April 2015 Update: Since my original post I have had more time together with "So". This fragrance can hold its own against the best of them. It is such a beautifully crafted floral with no harsh angles, layers blending seamlessley into each other. I find I crave it more often the more I wear it.

So de la Renta is such a beautiful smelling fragrance. Its very white Floral IMO with some fruitiness in the begining notes. I think this would be a great perfume for a wedding in the spring time. To me this scent is elegant yet it has a cheerfulness to it also. I am wearing this one today because i just bought it and its Autumn but I think this scent would be perfect for a spring night or a spring day,if you have some where fancy to attend. Oscar Perfumes can be very strong at times so only a little is needed but I love when he makes a perfume,,he makes it womanly and he makes it to last. I bought this for a great price and i think it gives more bang for your buck then a lot of the super costly fragrances that smell watered down. Whatever you do when wearing ANY Oscar perfume that i've tried is NOT to drench yourself in it. Spray lightly and you will smell beautiful all day. :)

this is so so good. it feels like a very high quality version of this kind of warm fruity floral and took me by surprise because I like white flowers + fruit scents but mainly they mainly read as 'clean background noise.' I went for this because the listed watermelon and kiwi sounded appealing for a juicy summer scent, and while they don't stand out that strongly from the clementine-mango orange juicy feeling, they add some tart depth there, and the fruits are all quite realistic instead of candy-like or bodywash like. This comes with an almost gingery cardamon, light freesia, creamy gardenia and jasmine, and green tuberose, giving a spiced sorbet or fruit lassi vibe. All of this sits on top of the same smooth ambery vanillic base that's familiar from the classic OdlR perfume drydown, which elevates it and gives it lasting depth.

This scent is sneaky in that it seems humdrum, but then your nose loves it so much you start to crave it. It's warm, yet fresh, with creamy floral and fruit elements for balance. I guess I underestimated this one thinking it might be a loud 80's floral, but it isn't- it has a unique charm. This is just a fresh and slightly fruity sweet floral that I can't get enough of. The more I wear it the more I like it. There is a white flower, maybe gardenia, making this creamy, but balanced by the freesia and fruit, adding that airy effect I need for gardenia to work for me. It's like the most perfect floral blend I have found. It's a balanced scent, like a nice olfactory equilibrium I guess. I found this when someone sent it to me by mistake! I had never heard of it. This is long lasting with an unchanging dry down. Very beautiful!!

This fragrance on some is INCREDIBLE. Especially in HOT WEATHER. If you have the right chemistry, you get a dewy tropical Gardenia Jasmine Citrus MAGICAL fragrance. If you have another chemistry it's a soapy, flat citrus, which is passably clean and light, but fades and is gobbled up by the skin. This becomes polite and docile, the opposite of the vibrancy you get with the right rare chemistry. It's the difference between your neighbour showing up to a Church meeting to discuss a bake sale fundraiser(Chemistry #2), or Sophia Loren suddenly showing up to your dinner party at a Mediterranean Villa (Chemistry #1). Try before you buy, unless it's on sale, then just grab it. It's classic, feminine and fresh. Great for any collector. This is one you really must try to see.

At first sniff, this is pretty, but not super interesting. You must wear this! I’ve had it in my collection for a long time and decided to wear it out tonight! OMG it’s gorgeous!! All night I kept thinking, I smell amazing! There’s something about it that reminds me of Narcisco Rodriguez for her or SJP lovely! I love both of those ! This smells different but has some similar qualities! It is so elegant and sophisticated!! I felt so classy all night. It’s available for such an amazing price, yet rivals pricey fragrances. This would be a great signature scent. It’s lasted over 8 hours and still going strong. I find it a pleasure to wear! A total gem I would repurchase in a heartbeat!

Just received and am wearing It for the first time. I found the opening to be quite fresh. Not citrusy at all on me, but there was a definite sparkle that I enjoyed! After that first burst of delight came the bouquet of flowers, This perfume is blended so well, it is difficult for my nose to isolate them individually. It literally smells like you have just buried your nose the a huge arrangement of a wide variety of flowers that include all the colors of a rainbow. The dry down is soft and romantic and a bit powdery. the flowers remain but the sun is not shining on them as they are now in shadow. The sillage is moderate on me as well as the longevity. I have enjoyed the ride!

I've had this classic little gem for a few years now, i dont wear it all the time (as i like my variety!) but this is one my partner comments on when he cuddles into me and breathes me in. If you like white florals with a bit of pink lotus thrown in you should adore this one. The edp is bright, fruity but not ott sugary saccharine smell, and i think the drydown is that gorgeous soft, lingering smell. My clothes smell lush after i wear this perfume, sillage is moderate and on my skin at least this last a good 10 hours+, what more can you want. Great to wear to the office and still classy enough to wear out at the evening.

Cardamom ads a bit of spice to this very floral classic. Dry down is soft and really pleasant. It's not modern or opulent, but that ads to it's classic charm. I have a shelf in my closet and and spot on my vanity for all my various fragrance gems, and while this is a scent that I keep in my closet, I still love wearing it on the right occasions. Edit: Ok so I just had to say, I wore this tonight to dinner and drinks and got 3- yes 3- compliments. I put it on around 5pm and it's now 12:30am and it STILL smells so good! Wow I forgot how much I love this one.

I’ve had this in my perfume lineup since its release!!! This perfume just smells soooooo good,just a wonderful fruity floral but it’s definitely more fruity on me. On me I smell lots of juicy clementine,mango,watermelon and kiwi then jasmine,freesia,vanilla,lotus musk and hints of plum,gardenia and tuberose. They all blend beautifully together I just love it. Longevity and sillage are both moderate but long lasting. I usually wear this in the warmer months but it also great in the cold months too when you want a pick me up on a cold winter day.

Oh my sweat heaven, what vintage Attimo what Marina de B. Mademoiselle Dynasty which should replace it, this.....this is my new fragrance for my winter dream. It's feels like I am in the Bavaria forest at a Château and I'm dancing in the snow a formal but passionate waltz with the love of my life, after a while we start an Argentinian tango and at the final we fall embraced on the fresh snow. This is magnificent.

I got a sample of this, because it has some of my favourite notes - watermelon, gardenia, lotus, freesia...So de la renta is a beautifully blended juise, more fruity than floral. I like it because it's so fresh and reminds me of something tropical. Too bad that the longevity is so weak on my skin, it disappears within an hour.

I love it. I don't find it sweet at all. It's a wonderful floral. It reminds me of Emporio Armani Lei (She), but a little less sexy. So De la Renta is perfect for the daytime. I've been wearing it since 1997. The only problem is that it's not long-lasting. I have to keep a second bottle in my desk at work to spray midday.

I’ve made up mind about this brand in that all of their perfumes are safe blind buys, for me anyway. I’m impressed with how femme luxe this fragrance is! It reminds me of Forever by Alfred Sung and a bit like Eternity. Clean slightly spicy florals & juicy pears ....🍐 similar to a luxurious spa day and expensive lotion.

My words for this are “feminine” and “pretty,” in the way that J’Adore and Coco Mademoiselle are pretty. Floral, light ... just pretty! It actually does project some on me, but not in an overpowering way. A good light scent to wear in public, if you like the feminine ones!

I received this for a gift, but was expecting to find it "musty" or "old" since it has been discontinued. But, I was very wrong. This perfume is light and flowery, not heavy at all. Great for all ages, but may be too sophisticated a scent for the very young.

Love the way this perfume unfolds from fruity and light to a lasting powdery freesia-heavy scent. Loveitloveitloveit andd can't believe they discontinued it. Almost all the bottles that I have bought after 2004 smell a bit off. Pity.

Purely feminine, light aquatic floral (reminds a bit CK's Escape) that can be worn every day. It is more of a spring/summer fragrance. It literally lifts up your spirits. The only negative, its weak longevity..

A very sweet and feminine scentwhich i really like, it's just a pity that it has limited longevity and sillage.

So De La Renta definitely has a Ralph by Ralph Lauren vibe. I think the freesia is the main unifying note. The florals here are slightly headier than in Ralph, and it's more musky and not quite as fresh or fruity. On my skin, they're perhaps 80% similar to each other. If you can get a good deal on So De La Renta, it is an acceptable dupe for Ralph (even though I think it was released before Ralph). In some ways So De La Renta is more like Ralph than Paris Hilton is. Paris Hilton is more powdery, and So De La Renta is definitely a higher quality than Paris Hilton. I'd put Ralph as sort of in between So and Paris, if I were organizing my perfumes according to scent. As far as the perfume itself goes, it is sunny and yellow; the scent and bottle/juice match nicely. It could be perceived as dated―it's very much of the times. But it smells very clean and almost classic, like a basic T-shirt. Perfect for summer, although you'll probably have to respray throughout the day, especially if the day is very hot. I smell (as previously mentioned) the fresh, almost water-like freesia, and maybe the lotus/water lily, too. I smell a very slightly bitter tuberose in the background as well, and this slight bitterness serves to ground the composition a bit. The effect of the freesia, water lily/lotus, gardenia, tuberose, and watermelon combination here is achieved, I believe, by the freesia, magnolia, and apple accord in Ralph. I had a lot more to say about So De La Renta than I thought I would; perhaps that's not surprising, because I am delighted about how similar So is to Ralph, as Ralph is one of my absolute favorite summertime perfumes and I am lowkey always on the lookout for inexpensive substitutes for it.

I think this is the perfume that started everything for me. My mom had this and if my memory isn’t tricking me it came in a pretty pink and black box with a cute blush pink retangular nécessaire as a gift. She barely wore it, though — she favored Dior’s J’Adore and Mugler’s Angel over So de la Renta. But I loved it. It might be the reason why I love tuberose so much: affective memory. I thought the name Oscar de La Renta sounded so chic, the bottle reminded me of the Power Puff Girls and the white florals had that mysterious allure that I associated with adulthood, matureness, experience. On hindsight it’s a tame fruity, aldehydic fragrance. As a Chanel N° 05 die-hard fan I thought I would never say this but I do wish So de la Renta had LESS aldehydes. This strands from soapy to cleaning product territory. However, I do like the watermelon tuberose pairing. It’s fun in a way tuberose rarely is. You would think bubblegum tuberose is fun, but the original candied tuberose Piguet’s Fracas reminds us of otherwise: tuberose usually remains heady and dark even when it’s dripping in candy sweetness. So de la Renta’s watermelon tuberose however has not a shade of darkness, it’s sunny and juicy. Reminds me of sweaty beach skin and piña colada. It’s curious this hasn’t been rediscovered as watermelon has been trending in skincare and scented products in general (also, is this whole watermelon thing Harry Styles fault? Let’s discuss).

I recently sprayed a little Womanity by Thierry Mugler, and the resemblance to this fragrance immediately struck me. They live in the same olfactive family, but where Womanity can feel sharp, domineering, and unmistakably Mugler, this is its gentler, more loving counterpart. Softer around the edges, warmer, and far more wearable. This feels like the affectionate version of that idea. Nurturing. Comforting. Almost maternal, and I mean that in the best possible way. It has a reassuring presence, like being wrapped in something familiar and elegant at the same time. On my skin, I don’t pick up much in the way of fruit at all. Instead, it blooms into a warm, rounded floral bouquet that lingers beautifully for hours. It’s the kind of scent that quietly announces itself, enough to draw people in, and I almost always receive a compliment or two when I wear it. This isn’t one for the very young. I’m almost 40, and it feels perfectly pitched for where I am now: confident, self-assured, and uninterested in chasing trends. It smells grown, composed, and deeply comforting. One word of warning, though: longevity. This stuff is immortal. Apply it in the morning and you’ll still catch it on yourself at night, even after a shower and a change of clothes. If you love it, that’s a dream. If you don’t... scrubbing will test your patience. Warm, enveloping, and quietly powerful, this is a perfume that doesn’t shout, but it absolutely stays.

My perfume hating sister rejected this after receiving it as a gift. At first the association with Oscar de la Renta, who I have always assumed is responsible for the biggest and most shoulder padded of 80s fashion, put me off as well, but, finally, I gave it a go. So de la Renta, how I misjudged you. This is a beautiful, expertly blended fragrance. To me the stand out note is the gardenia, which I love. It has a mix of florals (though, having never smelled one, I can't comment on the lotus, if they smell as lovely as this I must seek them out) the jasmine is nice, it has a lovely freshness, and sweetness from the fruits, with the watermelon and mandarin being the most distinct. The spices and musk give it depth. This feels so clean and warm, like early morning in summer, but there's nothing sharp, harsh or soapy going on. In a way it's a 'safe' fragrance, but I don't mean that negatively- this is very likeable, attractive and wearable. I don't think you need to be a particular type of woman to wear this, this would complement many personalities, and it would be a nice work scent. I'm very glad I lucked into this. Also, just as I misjudged this fragrance initially, I misjudged Mr de la Renta as well. I actually looked up some of his designs and many are very beautiful and tasteful. So there you go.

So de la Renta opens with a clean, slightly aquatic, sparkling white floral accord, which reminds me of quite a few 90s watery white floral perfumes. Therefore, I can see the reference to Dior J'Adore. As the watery edge gradually wears down, the fragrance becomes warmer and more inviting. The initially juicy, fresh fruity note, now turns into a redolent and sunny dried peach skin accord. Combined with creamy gardenia and tuberose, it keeps them from being too loud. At the same time, its dries peel-like texture keeps it elegant while remaining sweet and lighthearted. Afterwards, So de la Renta just becomes more musky with time. The vanilla undertone also becomes more noticeable, but it never overwhelms the fruity white floral. The sillage is soft, and the longevity is around 9 hours on me. Since So de la Renta bears quite a few typical traits of 90s aquatic/clean white florals, I would recommend it as a classic, elegant, yet easy-to-wear fruity floral, especially to those who enjoy the style of Dior J'Adore. But I would suggest against blind buying to those who are sensible to aquatic elements.

Grabbed this as something cheap at Ross but I wasn't very impressed with it upon opening. Set it towards the back of the shelf. Now? It's a few months later and I keep reaching for it, surprising myself. It's a little sweet and mixes well with eos lotion (vanilla cashmere). It's a little floral, which feels summery and light. It's more present than I initially thought and lasts about average on my skin -- which seems to devour fragrances. I'm pleased with it, and having a cheap full size allows me to spritz generously before jumping into bed without feeling the least bit wasteful. Still a "like not love," but I have come to like it alot more than I would have first guessed. 🌼 Edited to add: this one really is quite lovely in the springtime when it’s a little bit sparkly in the air — perhaps its best season, followed next best season as summer. I still rotate it out as a bedtime scent as well, as it’s so light yet present.

I had my eyes on this for some time now and I had to order a bottle before it disappears altogether..Well, yes it indeed a lovely little perf. Not groundbreaking, not the 'I never smelled this ever before' in fact I do think it is somewhat reminiscent of 'Laura' so pleasant and really is lovely! I can see this one of those you reach for first as it's such an effortless mix of white flowers and fruits - can't go wrong with it! The opening is more fruits and vanilla but it very soon narrows down to freesia and white flowers, I get a bit of plum also later on. A lot of the notes are either hiding or so well-blended that they just don't stand out..All in all imo it is a safe budget blind buy for any white flower-lover, if you don't mind fruity notes. Reminds me of spring and summer holidays!

I didn’t pay much attention to this one at first, but I’m glad I came back to it eventually. It starts off a with a sophisticated aldehyde-like smell that is simultaneously rich and fatty yet incredibly dewy and very naturally fresh. There is a powdery violet/heliotrope aspect that increases after a few minutes, and it’s nice but I wish the opening lasted longer. For all the fruit notes listed, I don’t find it terribly fruity and it’s not sweet. There’s a hint of fruitiness but I wouldn’t necessarily be able to pick out any one individually. I think it’s quite different from what one might expect based on the notes here, which might be why I originally discounted it. I agree with the motherly, lotion-ey, and old-fashioned descriptors. It feels classic and unassuming.

I really like this one. It's a staple in my collection. More than 20 year ago I gifted to my grandmother and it smelled so beautiful on her. All perfumes did. On me like many perfumes, staying power is short and the notes never quite evolve or soften much. I have come to learn after many fragrances, it's me. My sister, a lot like grandmom, most perfumes smell beautiful on her. I often spray it on my blouses for longevity. One person compared it to Elizabeth Taylor gardenia, No comparison in my opinion. This one is much softer and delicate IMO. I really didn't like Elizabeth Taylor gardenia, I kept it because the green emerald translucent bottle is a stunner in my mirrored lighted shelf perfume display, also it was really cheap.

I had to deleted my first review, because it was based on 4 ml mini bottle, which is very different from full bottle with sprayer. Mini bottle has very strong opening because you just put too much product on wrist and it’s unbearable at first or maybe my mini bottle was old. This is such a lovely fragrance, white flowers with little bit of fruit sweetness especially in the beginning. Dry down in to gently white florals , little bit soapy, but just right - not too soapy, cozy, clean, gently sweet , so lovely. I love it, just wish longevity was better I get 2 hours on my oily skin. Inoffensive, easy to wear, I spray it on me before bed time while brushing my teeth and my husband never noticed it, it’s very light like lotion.

I remember coming across this in Marshall’s back in my twenties and purchasing it because it was so cheap. It was probably the closest thing to my summer signature fragrance although at that time I wasn’t aware such a thing existed now was I that into perfumes. I just remember this smelling SOOO DAMN GOOD ON ME!! I think I must’ve had the right body chemistry for it because it was just absolutely beautiful smelling on me back then. I’m tempted to repurchase just to get a whiff of that old thing back although I’m much older now and my chemistry may have changed. On me it was just a lovely fruity floral sweet also fluffy and oh so smooth. I may just have to repurchase since summer is almost here.

This is an excellent cheapie to have in one's wardrobe as a woman over 30. Nothing sexy or groundbreaking here, but it is a very FUNCTIONAL FLORAL. So de la Renta can truly be worn anywhere one wishes to cut a conservative but refined figure. Meeting with your accountant, parent-teacher conferences, stepping out to run errands where you wish to feel put-together? this is your girl! Smells classic and feminine but not too dainty or elderly. Also, smells much more expensive than it is, Parfums de Marly has many overpriced scents with a very similar "quiet luxury" vibe...why overpay??? Several reviewers have hit the nail on the head with their appraisal of when and why to wear this.

So de la Renta is a nice clean, soapy floral (mostly white) with an aquatic touch to my nose. I don't get any of the fruits and it has only a very faint sweet touch. I think this will work very nicely in Spring and Summer as an everyday/office etc. scent. Any soapy floral lover should check this one out. It's really inexpensive but doesn't smell cheap. Quite soft and lovely, but still with presence and decent longevity. I'll have to see whether the fruits will come out more when we're heading into the warmer season again and will edit my review accordingly. It is warmer now and I have put on SdlR again but to me it hasn't changed a bit, still the same lovely floral presence.

When I opened the bottle, it took only seconds to realize I have been smelling this all my life. I'm not sure on who, still waiting to see, but someone I see all the time must use this as their signature. It's fantastic! The Lotus note is my favorite, absolutely! Like all the other Oscar scents I have worn, it doesnt exactly last long but this one vibrated off my skin while at full power. I'm really happy that I was able to wear this today and I am highly considering purchasing a large bottle for myself and for about $35, I feel like it's a steal!

I have bought just a body lotion to see whether I might like this scent at all...just to get a general idea... Spread on my hands, I found it pleasant enough, but quite generic and not very special, however I went to bed and as I had a bad night and kept waking throughout the early morning hours, I kept catching whiffs of a soft, calming, clean, comforting yet seductive, purely lovely musk and perhaps the vanilla and flowers... So pretty, I have decided to buy this fragrance at next opportunity.

This is very nice...I have a mini , but not sure if it's an older formulation...Seems it would be... I smell freesia and lotus mainly...At the start I smell vanilla in there and I'm happy that goes away....sort of fades intio the back round bringing the good floral part in... Actually, this perfume smells like an expensive floral soap... I have yet to try this in the Summer but can go for all other months for sure! Clean soapy , floral...Nice for daytime wear!

Blind purchase in quarantine, this fragrance initially seemed very outdated, it brought back olfactory memories, perhaps an aunt or teacher used it. I gave it a second chance and I started to enjoy it, it is soft, clean, delicate, feminine, I like to apply it at bedtime, and on clothes, 2 or 3 sprays is enough. I still think it is outdated, personally, I do not leave home with this perfume. I have a sensitive nose, and this is safe for me to use.

I only have a small sample of this, first spray I didn't like. and it had an old fashined aldehyde smell. but this very quickly devoloped and fruity watery notes began to appear. I find it difficult to identify individual notes in this perfume, so to some up for me it has a sophiscated smell, suitable for my age group, 50 plus, love the fresh watery dry down, would happily buy a whole bottle of this if i could find it at a reasonable price.

This review is based on a miniature of the EDT. This is a pleasant fruity floral that I'd recommend for daytime wear in warm weather. It's not very strong, so I'd also recommend it as an inoffensive light fragrance for office wear. I have very dry, perfume eating skin, so the EDT lasted for at the most 2 hours on me. YMMV. This would be a suitable gift for a teenager or early 20s woman who would enjoy a designer fragrance.

Although I prefer spicy and heavy scents, this is one of my all time favorite floral scents. It does not smell fruity on me and it lasts for a good 5-6 hrs. It reminds me of a fresh summer breeze. I was introduced to this fragrance in 1999 while visiting Budapest and I wore it -almost exclusively- for 5 years. Sillage was excellent and I got compliments all the time. I do not wear it anymore but I will love it forever.

A very nice floral Scent. On my skin this one remainds me of Dior J'adore - just a little bit lighter and just a little bit less sweet than J'adore. No sharp or edgy notes at all. Stayingpower on my skin is 4 - 5 hours. Härligt blommig doft som på mig påminner om Dior's J'adore. Denna doften är lite mildare, lite lättare och lite mindre söt än J'adore, tycker jag. Doftar gott länge på mig - mellan 4 - 5 timmar.

Came across a large and unused bottle paired with a mini for $12, at an estate sale. In error, I’d thought I was purchasing the original Oscar. This is a very lightly sweet, fresh fragrance that I seldom use - being hopelessly besotted with my 5 Guerlain loves. It is a nice, friendly scent for a spring or summer day. It would be smashing for a young girl to sample on her way to developing her own signature.

This fragrance starts off very zingy. It's bright, energetic and watery. As well as fruity, fresh spicy and floral. Very unique combination that make for an almost non-descript scent. Though I can pick out cardamom, melon, freesia and peony. Not too sweet. It smells clean and dewy. Almost like having your hair washed at a beauty salon. Later it turns powdery. Great for spring and summer. Very 90's.

Oh I like this one! She smells regal. She remains nice from beginning to end. It opens sweet, slightly grassy (in a good way). She then drifts into a light sweet floral deodorant(non-chemical). I notice a few "mature" fragrances came up under "who likes this, also likes..." section. Don't let that deter you from trying it, as I sometimes do. In this case, granny gets a major upgrade!

A gorgeous summer fragrance! So bright and juicy and happy, and at the same time very elegant. No age limitations for this one for sure, but in my opinion it is VERY suitable for a younger person. If somebody is curious what it smells like, it is very similar to Reverence by Marina de Bourbon(which i rarely wear because of its poor quality), but with way better sillage and longevity.

Lovely scent. Bright and joyful. Quite "strong" and lasts long time on my skin. This is really a good-mood scent for everyday you want to feel energetic and happy. It reminds me a little bit of Laura by Laura Biagiotti, that is more aquatic scent. The next morning: My skin smells sooooo good! Soft and sweet white flowers and musk on my chest are lovely to wake-up with!
