Impression Cashmeran Velvet

Beautiful lightly sweetened sandalwood. Warmed up by cashmeran, smoothed out by orris, freshened up just enough by the cedar and patchouli. This brand is unique yet incredibly wearable, all wearing close to the skin and never overwhelming. Every note feels placed just right, blended until there are no harsh edges. Probably not for loud scent lovers, but perfect for someone more sensitive like me.

Cashmeran Velvet. Top notes: Amyris oil, Olibanum oil, Cashmeran Velvet Heart notes: Cedarwood oil, Sandalwood oil, Orris accord Base notes: Vanilla bean extract, Patchouli heart, Musks A very pretty, velvety, creamy, pleasant woody smell. It opens just like Sandalwood CPO by Swiss Arabian, which I have a sample of. In comparison with the above mentioned, it is less sour, and a bit sweeter. You smell also cedarwood, cashmeran and the balms. The light, barely noticeable sweetness starts to come up after 1 hour or so. For me, as a woman, I would love it to be a lot sweeter. Not too much, just more. And spiced up. I was hoping to find something like the Yankee Candle: Warm Cashmere, which I have put in my wardrobe closet to scent my clothes 😁. Anyway, it works. But the candles are sweeter from sugar, vanilla, I feel even rose and neroli. Well, THAT would be THE perfume! But this is not it, what makes it suitable for men, or as a base for layering. I feel stupid for repeating myself, but again, this is another Ostens, which is excellently blended 👌So I would recommend this perfume for men, or someone, who is totally into the woods 🌲🌳🌴

I got a sample in the mail and the first smell was filled with cashmeran warmness. The cedarwood came through rather quickly giving way to the sandalwood. Vanilla mixed in the woodsiness of the cedar/sandalwood was very beautiful. I made my coworker who has sensitive nose take a whiff of my wrist and she said "Now *that* is something I would like!" I can see a resemblance to Santal 31 but this is much more appealing - the vanilla keeps it warm and the musk makes it a bit sexy.

Got a sample in a discovery pack. To me, this scent is very old-fashioned, I find it hard to recommend to anyone under 65. It starts with a deep, warm spiciness and then somewhat quickly settles into a cedar-vanilla scent. The combination on my skin makes me a bit ill, it's almost medicinal. The sweetness element within it makes me think this is a tad more feminine than unisex as well. This is not for me at all, glad I just got a sample.

This is soft, warm and comforting like a blanket or a smooth hand caressing your body to make you relax. A pleasant woody and powdery smell
