Impression Cedarwood Heart

This is a stunner. A beautiful woody aromatic scent which has all the notes well blended. It’s also borderline unisex

What a Fragrance ❗ Top notes: Bergamot, Cardamon, Violet leaves Heart notes: Galbanum oil, Galbanum heart, Ylang, Orris concrete Base notes: Patchouli, Ambergris, Moss, Cedarwood heart Virginia I did not expect it, OK? Just to be clear 🤪 I was scared to death from the Violet leaves, which I am not the fan of 😨 Now, this was like a punch to the belly. What a beauty! Like you get Mugler's Angel and improve it to the perfection (I can't stand it, for me it stinks). I swear I smell the chocolate, even if it's not mentioned here. I even smell sweet peonies! And bitter, sour orange! The scent is sweet. This is what I was hoping for from the Cashmeran Velvet. I feel the patchouli as well, but not that harsh and distinct like in Ostens Patchouli Hearts I. and II. There's an undertone, which makes it a bit vintage for me. I remember it from my childhood, somewhere from the 80-s, and this undertone, together with the cedarwood makes the whole perfume smell elegant. When I sniff the scent, it is so cheerful and joyful! Well, this is a masterpiece! Hats off 🎩📴👏

The cedarwood heart is surrounded by dry and bitter galbanum, which directs the scent to the green. Nostalgic, powdery iris adds flowery hint, but just polite. Spiciness is very mild, yet pleasant, makes this scent interesting in decent way. The cedarwood is still significant. --- The only negative is the fleetingness of this impression: projection is almost intimate after a while and longevity is 3-4 hrs top.

I like its opening, but then it becomes cloyingly sweet, like powdered sugar. Quite basic, yet definitely different in its evolution; it basically ends up delivering a softer Mugler's Angel. I was expecting a woodier, greener scent for the long run, not just for a short while (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠)

Fresh, ozonic. The galbanum is only noticeable in the top, then it becomes sort of non descript, but just smells fresh and ozonic. Sometimes I feel like it has a tiny bit of suede accord in late dry down. Not a woody scent, imo so, I don't get the name. Overall, pleasant but forgettable.
