Impression Jasmine Absolue

Oh, wow, wow, WOW! Top notes: Gardenia, Black Pepper, Violet leaves Heart notes: Jasmine abs. Egypt, Davana oil, Ylang extra, Davana, Lavandin abs. Base notes: Vanilla Woods, Soft Musks, Sandalwood Mineral Accord, Peach 😍😊😊😊 I must smile, when I look at the review below. Well, yes, the jasmine is low on indoles here, but they are still here. Thanks God, because I can't imagine jasmines without being indolic, it's their natural part. AND for the comparison to the Jasmine de Grasse. I have the Isnard: Flor de Grasso perfume, which translates to the "Flower of Grasse" and yes, you have guessed right, it is a jasmine. That jasmine and this jasmine are very similar. This Egyptian jasmine is deeper and more "serious", or more mature, whereas the Grasse jasmine is lighter and more cheerful. Ostens perfumes are all very long lasting (12 hours) and projecting very well. You will have your scent bubble without being obnoxious. I sprayed one tiny bit of the sample on my wrist and it holds like crazy. And I smell it everywhere. So you smell jasmine, gardenia, peach, a little woods, a little vanilla and you get an overall sweet, indolic, sour creamy, elegant, I'd say feminine scent. It is very delicate, but noticeable. Others will smell you, don't worry. I feel confident and feminine wearing this. If I didn't own the Isnard's perfume, which is excellent, I would go for this perfume from the Ostens. It is very likeable and I feel that the Mugler's Alien is an offence to these perfumes. A bad joke, if you like, with its unnatural, synthetic jasmine. And I say this as a person, who is not a fan of the whhite florals. But some perfumes are done so well, that you can't resist 😍

Unbelievably beautiful jasmine scent. It is an elegant, sophisticated but also very minimalistic smell. Jasmine is definitely the star of the show and the other notes are wonderful accompaniments. Osten's perfumes do last quite a while and I completely agree with the 'bubble' of smell you'll be in without it being too overpowering.

Nice green jasmine, very realistic one: super soft and fresh with a touch of citruses and tender musky base. Other notes really just play the supporting role here to enrich the best facets of Jasmine absolute. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Imagine the freshest point of jasmine blooms freezed framed for 30 minutes. The top is stunningly beautiful, jasmine sambac that smells dewy, slightly fruity (banana and strawberry facets) and the indoles suppressed (which is a good thing). I’ve heard some ‘noble ingredients marketing babble’ about grasse jasmine that is supposed to be lower in indoles. This is what I imagine it would smell like although Ostens uses Egyptian jasmine in it. This is a pretty good attempt at capturing the smell of the head space for jasmine flowers (which is a feat as most jasmine scents turn musky or musky/ indolic mirroring the decaying floral instead). Sadly the rest of the scent doesn’t live up to the stunning top instead going down the path of a fleshy muddled white petals that smells like a natural perfumery attempt that goes flat on skin. Surprisingly low on indoles even during the drydown. This is one scent which needs to be sprayed LAVISHLY in order to enable a richer body of scent and to to make all the facets, nuances and details pop up MORE . For 250 CAD per 50ml, its quite difficult for me to justify the price as the perfume really feels more like a Eau de Cologne/ Eau de Toilette in terms of sprays=richness but saying that I do enjoy the stunning first 30 minutes.

This is a no for me. It reminds me of where I go for my massage (Thai Massage place). This reminds me of Royal Crown Oud Jasmine
