Impression Patchouli Heart No. II

My first impression of this is that it smells like an outdoor garden shop on a sunny day, with lots of dry soil, earthy greens, suede gardening gloves and fresh cut wood. It's actually quite a pleasant nostalgic smell for me, but not something I thought I would want to smell like. However, the iris in here saves it for me and makes it wearable as a perfume. The dry down has more of the iris and violet leaf. I don't find it particularly aquatic, but dry, herbal, green, earthy, with an airiness about it. I guess I do pick up a kind of skin-like saltiness. It's very well blended- I'm not really a patchouli person and I find this easy to wear. I'm really enjoying it, and discovering this brand as a whole. They have a softness I appreciate without being fleeting.

First, I do not understand why people, who rate the fragrance, do not leave a review. Especially if it is not a well known perfume. Patchouli Heart II. is more pleasant to my nose than No. I. At the beginning you get a slightly herbaceous, muddy patchouli. And a lot of ambroxan. I got the impression that it is like you sprayed Escentric Molecules: Molecule 02, Molecule 03, Jo Malone: Wood Sage & Sea Salt, and Hermés: Eau des Merveilles Bleue - together. Everything is there, plus the distinct patchouli. However, it is not overwhelming. I would welcome it to be less earthy, but 🤷♀️. The scent is light, pleasant, salty, aquatic, woody, mineral, here and there minty, not sweet, fresh. I rated it as OK, because I would not wear it, but I am sure that there are patchouli enthusiast out there, who will enjoy it. The perfume is projecting well, it is very long lasting - you get 12 hours without difficulty. The materials are of a high quality, and blended very well to one unity. If you like a patchouli being noticeable, than you can try this perfume.

Despite all the listed notes, all I'm getting is a woody smell; something in the same genre as Hwyl from Aesop, but less intense. I get cedar mixed with black pepper and cashmeran. Not impressed; it's a smelled before.

A big fan od Patchouli, I just tried a sample of this scent Initial impression was very powdery and Iris’y. Two hours later it hasnt changed much, mostly powdery iris and oddly - musk? I think its cashmeran. It really reminds me of another scent but cannot recall what it is. Possibly powderiness of Vanderbilt 80/90’s perfume. I can’t really smell Patchouli at all , there is none of the earthiness, or spiciness I usually get form Patch. Overall, nice soft, warm scent but for me maybe too musky
