Abaya

I wanted to update my previous review, after having some more time with this scent and having reapplied it on my skin after a shower, it is actually smelling a bit more beautiful. Its like a kenzo amour with more vanilla and less powder. Its definitely a more of gourmand vanilla than what I prefer but its still mellow. At first spray you get a lot of pear and cinnamon which then settles to a sweet vanilla and then drys down to a beautiful amber with hints of pear. The more i wear this the more I am falling in love with it. It marrys well with other fragrances too. I will probably end up re-rebuying this perfume it runs about $20-$25. The hard part is getting it in the U.S. which after months of searching i finally found a site . I find the milk color of this water perfume interesting as well.

I was expecting this to be more powdery. And less of a gourmand scent. Its very sweet and at first spray it comes off strong as very milky. Then it turns into almost a chocolate with a hint of vanilla. It also has a very alluring faint fruit smell that doesn't actually have much of a place in this scent at all. I feel that this spray would be good for layering with another perfume that contains heliotrope. This one isnt bad and wasnt expensive, but I dont think i will be re-purchasing since its a bit too gourmand for me.
