St Barts

I don't own this but will soon. I was out in the wild last night and there was a gorgeous, lonngg, wavy, bleach blonde beachy looking girl who, whenever she passed me, filled the air with such an intoxicating smell!! Ok truth be told, I was at a strip club, long story. As others were focused on the stage, I was focused on when the mermaidly tall girl in the red bikini would pass me again so I could smell her and trying to get the courage up to ask what this amazing smell was!! Thought my luck was gone when I saw her take the hand of a man and lead him to the back for a dance. But then whew, she re-emerged about 15 min later and I realized it was now or never. I summoned her over and she probably thought I was going to ask for a dance or something but instead I was telling her how amazing she smelled and can I please know the name of the perfume. She gave a big smile and told me it was this!! I have of course heard of this but never thought to try it, just wasn't rrally on my radar. Now can't wait to get to Sephora and get my hands on this! She mentioned that working at the club, they have to wear a perfume though she isn't big on perfumes otherwise. She said since it was a body mist she didn't know others could smell her. I told her every time she passed there was this amazing waft of her scent, and it's interesting if the other girls have to wear scent, I didn't smell anyone else, only the Ouai body mist! At one point she was all the way on the other side of the stage and I got a waft! She also mentioned there was a shampoo amd conditioner so I'm thinking she had layered and this was the secret to her smelling so good. If she is possibly reading this, thanks my dear I think this is the coconut I've been searching for!

This makes me feel like I just finished a spa treatment. Using this and the matching body/hair products is a luxurious experience. I frequently used this as part of an everything shower routine. This is a well-blended tropical floral but I would also describe this as a clean girl scent. It’s a little musky, and I often have trouble with musks, but not this one. It was a love at first sniff. I also think this is a great entry into tuberose for those who are apprehensive about that note. The tuberose in here is creamy and gentle, it is not indolic. Now for the negatives: longevity and price. This does not have the best longevity or projection. I know this is a body spray but it is an expensive body spray and I was disappointed with the performance. I have to use Quai’s shampoos and matching hair oils to extend the life of the scent. Overall a lovely fresh, clean, and crisp product that will make you feel like you are receiving a massage at an expensive beach resort. But you may have to decide if the price justifies the experience of the wear. 8/10.

A salty fresh wave of tropical fruit and coconut water over gardenia, jasmine, sand, and the open sky above. I spray this in my thick, long hair (especially underneath), and flip up for Lana Del Rey waves and texture. It seriously feels like there is sea salt contained in the formula. I do not experience any longevity issues with this hair/body mist whatsoever. the quality is to where this is literally perfume you can just spray more liberally. It smells so good -- reminds me of a fragrance I had from the early 2000s from Target called "beach day", and I had the whole set w body lotion and perfume. I'd wear that for beach days at the lake with my son when he was 2-3-4 years old. Every summer we'd go to the beach, play in the sand, and swim in the summer sunshine; my son all slathered up in his baby sunscreen, the darling little freckles dotting his darling little nose and cheeks like teeny tiny chocolate chips. These memories are so precious to me, and I love reliving this season of my life via this perfect beach day fragrance 🤍😌

My boyfriend got me this from Sephora and MY OH MY! I personally own 40+ something collection and let me tell you: this baby got me THE MOST COMPLIMENTS! From both men and women!!! It smells like a fun, flirty solaire fragrance to me without any trace of sun lotion. If you have solaire vanilla perfume PLEASE PAIR THEM TOGETHER! My coworkers from next cubicle told me they definitely smell and enjoy it haha. The most prominent note people got (including me) is coconut, followed by vanilla, white florals, and fruity notes dancing in the background. A true summer bomb. I imagine this is what partying in Brazil smells like 😅 You can wear this day time to night time IMO, especially during those breezy summer nights. The smell just wafts and lingers deliciously. The sprayer SLAPS! It's very... bouncy but sturdy if you know what I mean. The bottle is also cute and quite travel friendly.

A very close friend (who has since passed away) had a bottle of this and she would spray this, no joke, everywhere she went. All over her clothes, all over my clothes, all over her furniture, all over herself. It smells insanely fresh. Super appropriate for warmer climates (particularly more tropical climates--like, if you live or vacation in the Caribbean or South Florida regularly/permanently). Incredibly uplifting even though it vaguely haunts me due to the memory association of a late friend's passing.. still, she exists every time I spray it, and that is wonderful. Cannot beat the price either. Truly a steal. Does it last forever, or is it something that is really 'daring', etc..? Not at all, but it is absolutely beautiful and rather unique; if wearing in your day-to-day activities, it is an excellent juice for layering. Quite unisex as well though it leans more fem.

I was sent this a long time ago for free (not sponsored), and if it wasn't free I don't think I'd buy it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVEEE this scent for summer but it doesn't last! I mean it'll last in the air in the room you apply it in but it doesn't last long on your hair and body, you have to keep reapplying. You might would have more luck layering with the lotion but I have no idea as I don't own it. The scent is very fruity and creamy with a floral aquatic background that makes it smell elevated. Some say it smells coconutty but I don't get that at all, I think maybe it's because it has a creamy quality? It definitely reminds me of a hair care scent, like you just got your hair done at a tropical luxurious spa or something. I applied this before leaving somewhere with my sister and she told me my conditioner smelled amazing lol.

I first smelled this last summer and ultimately passed on it at the time despite liking it. It was late July, my cravings for summer-y, tropical fragrances were starting to wane, and I didn't want it to sit on my shelf for a year. I decided it was finally time to add this to my collection and I'm so glad I did! To me, this very reminiscent of Bahamas Passionfruit and Banana Flower from Bath & Body Works, with a dash of Waikiki Beach Coconut thrown in, but made every-so-slightly more sophisticated by the blend of notes, packaging and longevity. If you watch The White Lotus, this is the scent wafting through the lobby in Maui. Some comparisons: this is most like the aforementioned B&BW mists, and (to my nose) not at all like SDJ Cheirosa '48 (fruity and borderline pickle-adjacent) or Cheirosa '87 (pure sunscreen).

Ouai St. Bart's is LITERALLY the smell of summer. It's tropical, coconutty, beachy, and even smells like sunshine somehow. I would've swore there was coconut and banana or pineapple in here, but I guess not! This is definitely one of those "sunscreen" type perfumes. It's just perfect. This layered with Vacation by Vacation is a killer duo, especially for a beach day on a hot summer afternoon. I love using this in my hair when I'm on day 2 or 3 hair. It immediately refreshes it and I feel confident knowing my hair smells fresh too. It is a hair and body mist, so I don't expect too much when it comes to longevity, but it does fade fast - within the first hour. But the projection is pretty crazy for a body mist! St. Bart's is definitely worth the price - just get it!! It's impossible to dislike!! Rating: 9/10

I’m genuinely puzzled by the hate this scent gets—to me, it's summer in a bottle. The fragrance opens with a soft, light floral vibe—nothing heady or overpowering—but admittedly, it’s hard to pin down exactly which florals are in there. What really stands out to my nose is something unexpectedly tropical: I get awapuhi (Hawaiian ginger flower) and coconut, even though neither are officially listed in the notes. That combination gives it a breezy, beachy character that reminds me of warm days in Hawai‘i—sun-kissed skin, ocean air, and fragrant blossoms carried on the breeze. And for the record, I personally don’t get any similarities to Flor Mistica or Cheriosa 48 by Sol de Janeiro. This is a solid love for me!

This is sweet ! Juicy tropical it smells like a hot humid tropical island. Drydown is warm sweet amber pineapple tuberose. I didn’t think I’d like this because it would be too cloyingly sweet but I’m Really enjoying it in the hot weather. It also has a fresh quality about it I guess because I have used the shower gel in the same scent it reminds me of a fresh tropical shower. It’s juicy yet clean smelling. Some say it smells like a pina colada and it does a little bit but the tuberose keeps it from being too pineapple . It smells like an expensive tropical vacay. A juicy drink with pineapple in it but not straight up pina colada because pineapple can lean too sweeet and hurt my nose.

I'm very picky with my fragrances because I'm quite prone to scent-induced headaches. I also normally do not tend to like beachy or oceanic fragrances as I prefer fresh, warm florals and somewhat natural scent profiles like Mojave Ghost, Diptyque Eau Duelle, Diptyque L'Ombre etc. I really love this though! It's like a lovely white floral with some fresh citrus and a bit of fruit, I don't find this offensive and the lotion layers well with my favorite fragrance (Pacfica Persian Rose) and I would also anticipate it to smell good with Diptyque L'Ombre. It adds a layer of freshness, it smells yummy but in a way that is more adult than something from Sol De Janiero.

Wow. I need a dupe of this immediately. I need something that actually lasts long too. I might buy this for the Sephora sale for another summer perfume. This is giving soapy piña colada vibes at first spray. The dry down smells like a soapy sweet pear? I’d definitely bring this to the beach with me and pair it with a coconut sunscreen! Edit: I’m refraining myself from buying this during the Sephora sale. I eventually found it a bit too soapy for my liking, but it lasts on my clothes forever! Def worth the money. I just can’t purchase this rn because I need to project pan the rest of my perfumes first LOL

I already left a review on this from a sample I got. Really loved it and wanted to get a full size bottle of it during the Sephora sale. I decided against it and I got a 25ml bottle instead. Oh my goodness. The longevity of this is crazy on myself. I sprayed this body mist at about 9 AM today and it is now 1:30 and I can still smell it on myself! For a body mist, I think this is SO worth it. I love it so much. I’m not as big of a fan of this anymore because it kinda smells like soap by itself now. It is still a great summer perfume to layer!

Surprisingly long lasting for a body spray. Very beachy- coconuty fragrance, that smells fresh as it settles. I immediately got a compliment from my partner when I sprayed it on. I could smell it on my clothes/skin all day, even when hiking/bird watching outside, and at the end of the day for a 3+hour plane flight. My partner could smell it on their hoodie days after as well. I wish this was an EDP, but for a body mist that lasts as long as this it's worth the price. A 'posh tropical hotel' as another user stated is 100000% accurate.

Soon as I smelled this I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. My childhood of using white rain energizing citrus shampoo and conditioner. The combination of a nice steamy shower and clean hair. I think this is what Debbie from The Wild Thornberry’s would smell like. Luxuriously tropical in an early 2000s sort of way. Makes me think of Hollister stores and the sprays they would carry as well, the whole ambiance of the carefree surf lifestyle. It’s nice that you can use this body mist to transport to fun times.

This is so luxurious and creamy yet very airy. I couldn’t believe it is just a hair /body spray. Definitely smell coconut, but Ritz Carlton kind of coconut spa scent, gardenia and coconut dream. So luxurious smelling. Performs wonderfully in heat, this is an amazing discovery! I will buy everything available with this scent. I think it is beautiful fragrance to wear on summer evening strolls by the beach and definitely for lounging by the Ritz pool in a big floppy hat with a cocktail in hand.

Lovely summer time body mist. It has a beautiful tropical scent that smells luxurious without being overpowering, which is surprisingly rare for body mists. It’s reminiscent of a warm tropical holiday and feels both unique and well executed for the price point, which is to be expected but surprisingly uncommon. My all-time favourite body mist is the OUAI Ibiza scent, but this comes in as a very close second. Worth the Buy: Definite Yes Originality: 4/5 Wearability: 5/5 (Not at all Obnoxious)

A very good tropical fragrance, good performance for a body mist. It is more feminine than masculine even though it's described here on fragrantica as unisex. Im surprised there is no coconut listed in the note breakdown because coconut is the most dominant note. The coconut is very candy like but not artificial smelling; it reminds me of the coconut lifesaver (in the tropical pack) I had as a kid. Im very glad to add this to my tropical fragrances in my collection.

OUAI really nailed the St. Bart's in a bottle with this one. The atomizer has the most luxurious spray of this iconic island body spray, I love to layer it with my Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallow body/hair mist for extra sweetness. I live in Miami and find myself grabbing this delicious sweet, salted pineapples scent very often. It's like an instant pick-me-up, with one spray - it immediately transports me to a beach club on the billionaire's island that is St. Bart's!

a tropical scent done in a beautiful creamy marine way which has an undertone of a sunscreen and reminds me of white sand. tuberose definitely plays a big role in this and brings the scent to life with its lushness, like wild waves crashing and a fluctuating wind carrying the smell of blooming oranges and other white flowers through the salty air. calm-before-the-storm on a vacation scent and I think I fell in love with it. indulgent in a grounding way.

This is what body mists should be; something that triggers a Proustian moment, something that’s the perfect addition to your routine and completes your signature scent. It’s strong and unique enough to stand on its own—but layered with a perfume or scented body oil—divine. Also, it’s a compliment magnet, so that’s nice. Pair it with Akro bake or Xerjoff’s Lira, and you’ll conjure up the thought of eating lemon cookies at the beach.

this fragrance feels like taking a shower at a luxe beach resort. fruity, fresh, & beachy. i definitely get the notes of orange & pitahaya. the fruity notes in this scent lend itself to a freshness rather than a sweet gourmand, which i definitely prefer. the body mist performs pretty well, especially layered with other scents or on hair. would recommend if you’re looking for a fresh & fruity scent, especially in the summer!

This smells like a posh tropical hotel. You’re by the sea, you’ve just finished a spa treatment and you pick up a big fluffy towel and stick your face in it. The tuberose comes across coconutty, I really can’t believe there isn’t a coconut note in this because it is one of the most prominent notes. The dragon fruit fades quite fast and you’re left with a creamy floral coconut with a tiny bit of salt. Really gorgeous!

Pleasantly surprised by this one! There are so many perfumes/body mists on the market with a similar scent profile, but St. Barts is executed better than most IMO. It's very refreshing and doesn't smell cheap, juvenile or like straight-up sunscreen. If coconut isn't a note, it's safe to say the tuberose here is of the variety that pulls coconut-like. No regrets about purchasing a small bottle. :)

beautiful!! I do not get the pina colada reference everyone seems to be talking about. It’s more of a breezy coconut & white floral with sweet orange elements. It manages to be smooth, feminine, and fresh all at the same time. It absolutely does smell like hair products (in a good way). It smells like walking about a resort in hawaii where everyone is wearing lays and sipping on fruity drinks.

I can't believe there's no pineapple note and no coconut, because this smells like a piña colada to me. A classy piña colada if that's possible, in a beautiful place by the ocean, with oranges growing around you. It's amazing and perfect for vacation. I hope they make an EdP in this scent, but the lasting power is actually pretty good, it lasts longer than some of my perfumes.

smells the exact same as the ouai detox shampoo. i absolutely love it, but at the same time it kind of worries me i smell *too much* like a shampoo if that makes sense? because it really is that similar. perhaps i'll get over that weird worry, because that aside i could wear this alllll day. it sticks to my clothes really well, with a lovely tuberose that's not overly sweet.

I was literally so shocked when I came on here and saw a couple people calling this floral... it is straight beachy pina colada! Plus, everyone who has smelled it on me has told me that I smell like a pina colada, so it's not just my nose. The only problem is that it is not long lasting enough at all!!! I hope they make a perfume version because the scent is my fav.

Instant love - fell in love after first sniff and just bought myself everything from the line (the body cream is a hit too!). I agree this has a similar vibe to Flor Mistica by SdJ (although Flor Mistica is defo more musky) or to Beach Skin by Phlur. I personally get a coconut note, with a bit of greenery on a bed of tuberose. Very beachy, very lovely.

This is a fun tropical summer scent, I like it. On my skin it doesn't last at all which is unfortunate but not a surprise by any means, it is a body spray. On my skin the fruity dragonfruit note also sadly dissipates quite quickly. The jasmin is the most prominent note. Not a pina colada kind of scent on my skin at all, more a summery floral.

Wow. This is absolutely incredible. Especially for a body mist - the performance rivals many EDT’s. It’s sweet yet light, floral, tropical, with a gorgeous musky amber base note that makes it smell as if you’ve just come out of an expensive spa treatment on a tropical vacation. I’m obsessed. I want to smell like this year round.

If you want a similar EDP, try MIAMI NECTAR from Ellis Brooklyn! I love this spray, and it definitely extends the scent of the body wash & scrub from their shower line. Like others have said, I hope this gets added to the perfume lineup from OUAI, but in the meantime this is a fair price for a long-lasting mist!

It's a super tropical girly scent in a pleasant sunscreeny way. I get the coconut and dragonfruit with some citrus in the background. Even though pineapple isn't a note, I get a juicy pineapple along with some of the white florals. Such a confident beach scent that would be great for the summer.

Saint Barts is something new to me, something I hadn't smelled before and I love it. It's fresh and beachy with dragonfruit and the ocean. There is jasmine that is smooth, not too sweet or indolic, just perfect. I'm very happy with this and the longevity. A vacation in a spray.

I am obsessed with this. As to be expected from the brand, it smells like an elevated, clean salon product. Predominantly a sweet, bright floral. I get a touch of balmy coconut even though it's not listed. This is a body mist and not a perfume so resprays are necessary.

Best description: Summer at the sunny and airy sea coast! Absolutely stunning - sweet, watery and refreshing. Coconut and pineapple with some fresh & cool sea air, and that's it! This is what luxurious places in Hawaii smell like. Love love love.

the scent is perfect for summer, and its pretty strong for a body spray. I feel like I used it all summer and barely made a dent in the bottle. very juicy tropical scent with a hint of coconut. it is a bit pricy for a body spray though

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to Loewe’s Solo Ella Elixir, this is it!!! The tuberose is a lot less sharp but the smell is so similar! I like to layer both when I really want to project!

Delicious sweet floral yet juicy refreshing summer fragrance. Lasts about 2-3 hours . The perfect summer fragrance . I don’t get alot of coconut in this it’s more of a sweet juicy floral vibe .

This is such a sunny, uplifting, easy reach. It lasts all day on me and I never worry that it is overpowering for others. A lovely fresh, clean, vacation scent. I’m really glad I bought it.

Pretty tropical smell, smells like a pina colada. Doesn’t last long on the skin but lasts very long in the hair. I like to pair this with my bronze goddess eau fraiche skin scent 💗

I used this and everyone asked what i was wearing and people who are “allergic to perfume” actually liked it. It is so creamy and fruity at the same time. YUMMM

Beautiful floral-leaning beachy scent, tuberose note definitely comes out so be aware of that! Lasts a decent amount despite it being a body spray

I have a sample of the body wash and it is SO GOOD I don't know how the spray compares, but I will have to see and update later!

Blind buy for my wife, she loves it. Unfortunately it doesn’t last but it’s to be expected. All in all wife loves it I love it

My white lotus dreams came true with this one ! Love that expensive spa smell after a long day sipping pina coladas.

If they made this in an actual perfume, I would buy it. Tropical tuberose. Sweet & salty in the midst of flowers.
