Dusk

I am so happy to have Dusk in my collection! While it totally does smell like Thé Noir on paper, on my skin this is far less screechy and super creamy. I definitely get the fig note in here, but that’s grounded with the help of the vetiver and musk notes. This is one I rock in between seasons, or any time I want to smell fresh and clean. I also don’t know why... but it reminds me of a person who does yoga, drinks bone broth and makes their own holistic remedies (🤷🏾♀️). Like... the person who wears this smells like they have everything together and I’m all the way here for it!

This is a gorgeous blend. Sexy and complex while still being subtle. Low sillage but you'll smell good when someone hugs you and your scarf will hold the drydown for a while. This is something I love for an everyday "I just want to smell good" but dont want to be hit in the head with a parfum, per se. Its a mood-lifter, a sensual but gentle nudge edit: the dude behind the counter at the deli complimented this fragrance today soooo maybe the sillage has more punch than I gave it credit for 10/10

Consciously formulated in the Bronx, Ourside is a Black-owned fragrance brand that's a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the bold packaging and Keta's (founder) mindfulness when it comes to creating these scents. Dusk is an artfully blended fragrance that evokes a refreshing yet lush aroma that captivates your senses. It's a fresh and woody scent that's sensual yet easy to wear. It wears well all day long! I finally found a scent that reflects me.

This fragrance quickly became one of my favorites. I find it so easy to wear and at times I crave the scent. I enjoy wearing this because of the woody aromatic quality, it’s so unique and unlike anything I’ve tried before! I love the packaging, it looks so pretty on my vanity. The brand is also pretty amazing - conscious formulations and Woman of Color owned. You can tell everything from the fragrance to the packaging is so thoughtfully curated.

Dusk is a uniquely captivating scent. Of the three in the collection this one is probably my favorite although it's hard to choose when I like them all. The top notes of fig and berries are a great start and as it dries down it takes a journey. The middle is fresh and floral and the base, musky. Its definitely one to add to the collection.

The combination of notes in Dusk is beautiful. Honestly I feel as if it is me in a fragrance. The notes of berries to amber is perfection. I love that it does not fade right away and I find myself catching its scent from myself from time to time.

Impeccably creamy fig with beautiful light florals and berries. I can see how people would describe it as woody but to me it’s almost powdery. Immensely sensual and mature fragrance. My favorite of the three samples in my discovery set!

Extremely, extremely similar to The Noir. Not sure how one could smell this and disagree. That said, Dusk (now called Of Our Own) is less smoky during the opening and leans more powdery & musky than The Noir, which gives it a slightly airier feel. Longevity and projection are great. It would be completely redundant to own both scents imo.

Dusk is probably my favorite perfume from Ourside, followed by Moon dust! There is something sexy and mysterious about Dusk that just keeps me coming back for more. It’s woody and slightly sweet and I definitely think it would work amazing on both men and women. If you are looking for a BIPOC owned fragrance brand that uses amazing materials in their fragrances, you should definitely check out Ourside

I believe this has been renamed "Of Our Own". Dusk no longer shows up on Ourside's website and Of Our Own has the exact same notes as Dusk. Great citrus, fruit and musk scent with longevity. I have not tried both fragrances so I do not know if there is a reformulation.
