Bergamote

BEST KEPT LITTLE SECRET So I stumbled upon this little gem at my local Anthropologie store and I was really impressed. I bought the small size to take on my recent trip to Dominican Republic and the heat and humidity really amped this scent to the max! A single note is listed but I believe there is something sweet in the dry down. The projection is good and lasts overnight on my clothes (not a direct spray on my clothes but a transfer from my body to my clothes). I spray about 20 sprays and it is a citrusy delight.....smooth, creamy and beautiful. I don't think this would perform as good in weather that is not +80F but at this price point I will be repurchasing the bigger size and mixing this with all my summer fragrance concoctions. Don't walk....RUN to pick this up!

I found half a bottle of this at an estate sale and almost didn't buy it but I'm really glad I did! Its nice citrusy bergamot, with maybe a little hint of something spicy there? Unfortunately it doesn't last very long, maybe 4ish hours but that's my only complaint about it. When a full bottle is only $25 I'm not going to hesitate to get another when my bottle runs out

Like cutting into a slightly underripe, lemon-limey bergamot. Crisp and refreshing but still kinda dry, well balanced between tart and sweet, with a clean white musky base plus a hint of something like orange blossom smoothing out any sharp citrus edges with a light floralcy. Soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 6-8hr.

Bergamot bergamot bergamot. Fresh fresh fresh. Thankfully not astringent. Crowd pleaser. Compliment magnet on me. I bought the oil, and after years of use I've barely left a dent. Absolutely insane value for $9.50.

I love this. It's a bright bergamot tea scent. Not screechy or sharp, but round and soft. It lasts a long time on me, but does sit very close to my skin. I get just slightly more projection than a skin scent.

This fragrance is a bit harsh by itself, I would never wear it alone. A perfect spicy citrus undertone!

Can't believe no one reviewed this perfume yet... Amazing find, at Anthropologie. This is a Hippie in a bottle. Such a great scent, not just bergamot listed here. There is oakmoss, patchouli and grapefruit. Excellent composition. It has a clean smoky feel. Medium longevity and very versatile. Classy well dressed individual at the beach Riviera night out. Yes pretty much that's what I think of when smelling this perfume. Done well. Perfumes that I owe from Outremer are top notch. Little niche brand, random find. Unisex, and no flowers, no gourmand stuff here, for ones that don't care for those type of fumes. To compare it, Chloe Nomade and Zum Sea Salt (laundry detergent), along there somewhere. This is even better on its own.

A pure note of simply bergamot. I bought this because it was a wonderful little pop of freshness at Anthropologie one day. Less than $15 and an old fashioned style bottle. The design on the label reminded me of old Parisian printing presses. I love to layer this with another perfume to give it a snappy start or top note - especially a rollerball oil perfume. I find that it's a very gentle fragrance, so it does not have a ton of staying power, but it's a great pick me up at the start of the day regardless of what the weather does. Perfect for Spring and Summer.

For only 25$ this is a beautifully crisp, refreshing bergamot in a cute bottle.

If you like bergamot, then this is straight bergamot, so here ya go. For me, this is a gorgeous scent, but it is very weak and lasts five minutes. Like many citrus fragrances, it just evaporates too fast. I have not tried their Extrait version of this, so it is probably longer lasting. Worth checking out when these are so affordable!

A fresh lemon fragrance that doesn't remind me of lemon cleaners. When dry, I get a note that smells like cigarette ashes or subtle leather. I don't mind it. Some soapiness and floral notes too. Maybe that's just what a bergamot fruit smells like? This is an affordable and pleasant choice.

Quite possibly the perfect bergamot scent, although perfumes always smell amazing inside a posh establishment, King's Road Anthropologie had this effect today. I was in love, very fresh, smells expensive and a touch minty in a way. But it does not last!! :( So I won't be buying it. For me this wasn't sour at all, more subtly sweet, green. Of course I couldn't resist a heavily discounted bottle so I bought this after all....a lot more clean and floral (neroli? orange blossom?) than I remembered, still very good. And this time around it seems to last on me, (I did have a freshly chlorinated 2 hour post pool session skin on the day I tested it..) Strangely the bergamot seemed to shine more then, despite my skin soaking it right in. I'll have to test in the summer. This is amazing layered on top of ambers, vanillas, christmassy cinnamon / resins.

I sprayed this 3 times on a tester and literally could not smell it.
