Cola

This was finally back in stock on Smallflower after being unavailable for months, so, at $11 a bottle, I couldn't not try it. It's 100% Coca-Cola from the first spray. It has all those same lemon, ginger, and kola nut notes as real cola on my skin. On my clothing, it reminds me of the scent of Amway laundry detergent (which I've always thought was delightful) plus cola. I can't imagine finding a fragrance closer to the real thing than this. However, I do wish this were stronger. Sadly, you don't really smell it unless you put your nose to your wrist or clothes and smell yourself. I sprayed a huge spray on each wrist and on my neck and clothes, and there's just no projection at all. So, this scent is going to be just for you and whoever is sniffing you that closely. Also, it doesn't come with a top on the sprayer, which I didn't think I'd ever care about, but it looks so naked on my shelf without one. I double-checked the packaging and box it came in, but the product photo makes me think it never came with one.

What a fun fragrance! This absolutely smells like bubbly and fizzy cola. After trying it for the first time, I had a smile on my face for quite a while. It smells very happy! To be more specific about the fragrance, I definitely smell the citrus and the spices in this (and they smell lovely). The spices prevent this from smelling too sugary or immature, and the citruses smell fresh. While I plan to wear this during the Summer, I see no reason why one wouldn't want to wear this during the Fall and Winter either (because the spices warm up the fragrance a bit). It's a good "all year" perfume that's just really fun to wear. I even love the bottle and the color of the liquid; it looks very vintage. The scent doesn't last long, nor does it have the best sillage (as it becomes more of a skinscent within minutes of applying it), but this is a very fun and happy addition to my perfume wardrobe. It's very affordable as well, so I guess you get what you pay for. Overall, I love this one.

Smells exactly like you're wearing Coca-Cola. I absolutely love this about it. Unfortunately, it sits quite close to the skin and requires a LOT of overspraying if you want anyone to notice it. Doesn't last a long time, either, so again I recommend going heavy with the sprays. I picked this up from Smallflower for less than $20, so I'll probably pick up more bottles. As other reviewers have said, maybe get yourself two bottles from the get-go, so you can go heavy on it. As opposed to Roja Creation-E which seems to be more of a Cherry Coke scent, this is a more traditional cola fragrance which is exactly what I was hoping for.

I second all of the below reviews! This is just delightful! I have been curious about this scent for most of two years, and I am so happy to now own it. Fresh, lightly sweet cola! Exactly like the name! It's blended so perfectly, there isn't a moment of the duration on my skin that is better or worse than another! In the mid stages, I can pick out cloves and orange. This reminds me of one of my favorite candles, Trapp Orange Clove. After a short time, the clove steps back a little, and the fresh cola scent lasts quite a long time. A unique, fun, light-hearted-yet-elegant scent that would fit anybody, any season.:)

As soon as this leaves the atomizer, it smells of cola with a heavy dose of lime syrup. I'm okay with this, because I like citrus scents. This really does smell quite recognizably of cola! I can't stop smelling my shirt. It's lovely! I'll have to try it later to see how it does on my skin. If you're looking for a cola-scented fragrance and you don't mind the addition of lime, buy this! What a fun, whimsical fragrance!

I’ve been mourning the Kilian Bad Boys Are No Good fragrance when it was discontinued (it was a favorite), and finding this finally healed that wound for me. At first I was sad it didn’t last longer, but then I discovered that Outremer also makes the Cola Extrait de Parfum, and then all was right in the world again! Just pair them together for double the Cola power that will last you!

180 What else can I say that others haven’t? Opens with lime, settles into a nice spiced cola. Not strong but fulfilling. I love everything cola, so this is an extension. Growing up abroad, I was spoiled by gummy colas and lollipops that tasted like cola with a fizzy powder inside. Smells exactly like opening a bottle of Coke! I feel like I can almost taste it, and since I don't drink sodas anymore it's bringing up all kinds of happy scent memories from the past. I did not realize how much I would enjoy this. Lots of smiles from this one!

This was an impulse buy. I bought a bottle and I love it. It's completely cola when it goes on and dries down to a really lovely cola and slightly spicy smell. It's not at all complicated. Just marvelous. Smallflower website has these fragrances.

This is so good and affordable. I like it so much better than Tonka Cola by Mancera. I blind bought it because it was $11 for 15 ml. It is spot on Cola. It's a fun, happy fizzy scent. Doesn't last, but that's okay for the price.

True cola-like scent, spicy sweet and energetic. Sillage and longevity are minimal, even having soaked myself in it--but fun while it lasted!

Received my flacon of Outremer COLA today, which I'd ordered "blind" from Smallflower. I love the pretty bottle with its Art Nouveau swirls on the label. Looks very WWI-era, or like something "Rose" from TITANIC might own. On first spritz, there it is: a tangy note of cola... very pleasant, nose-tickling, bright, tart and refreshing, and more understated and refined than I had anticipated. But very soon, as others here have remarked, the cola quality fades, leaving behind a curious aromatic quality that seems slightly ambergris-like, or like a cassia/ginger-y petrichor (?). The drydown actually leans a little masculine to my nose, like a vintage men's lime/spice cologne. It's all pleasant, but one wishes the tangy cola would stick around for longer. In very far drydown, after about 5 hours, there remains a very subtle accord of clove and allspice. But the scent is very inexpensive, so there's that... no need for "buyer's remorse". This fragrance is good for the office or other place where you don't want to be overpowering. I am layering COLA with another indie favorite: Stirling Soap's LIME aftershave (basically a sharp solinote lime zest). Does much to keep the cola tartness going.

I bought this fragrance while on vacation at a quaint, kind-of-bohemian boutique on the Apalachicola Bay. Obviously one of those 'vacation' impulse buys because the price was right, I loved the vintage vibe of the bottle and I wanted an olfactory trigger for the memories that were created that week. It does smell faintly like cola but without any of the effervescence. And I would say more like Pepsi rather than Coke! More like the cola your grandmother probably got from an old fashioned soda fountain. I apologize... Am I a connoisseur of soda? LoL!! My 'friend' liked it, but could not quite put his finger on what it smelled like and of course I made him keep guessing. Anyway, the Longevity was so ho hum it could never have been offensive. My review is based purely on 20 yr old memories! The bottle was used up, i can't even remember who the 'friend' was, but I can still remember that faint cola scent! I would love to find where they sell this fragrance line today though. I think it would be fun for my 10 year old daughter to have!

Go to the store, buy a bag of Haribo Gummi Cola Bottles, open it, stick your nose in and inhale deeply. You’ve just experienced your first spritz of Cola Outremer. The similarity is uncanny. Now, eat the bag of Haribo Gummi Cola Bottles, come back in a few minutes, and sniff the bag again. You’ve just experienced Cola Outremer’s longevity. Once again, the similarity is uncanny. Don’t get me wrong, this fragrance is to die for, especially if you’re a hardcore gourmand with a proclivity for citrus. Frankly, I have no issues carrying it around with me for frequent re-application (in fact, I enjoy the attention I get from bringing out the vintage-themed bottle and misting the air about me with the crisp “ahh” of a fizzy soft drink). Just be prepared for a short-lived scent, much like drinking one of those trick-or-treat sized cans of soda - tangy and sweet, gone in a flash, leaving you thirsty for more.

Pros: ✔️Smells exactly like what it’s attempting to emulate. It nails the scent of a crisp, refreshing Coca-Cola perfectly! Yes, it does smell really similar to the Haribo cola gummies too. ✔️The Art Deco packaging is cute! Outremer bottles are uniformly concise and chic looking. ✔️A 1.7 FL Oz bottle is really cheap. Cons: ❌ To echo what many have already said, it is VERY short-lived and has practically nil projection. Once the cola accord wears off, only a slight trail of sugary ginger can be perceived before it totally dissipates all in under an hour. The performance truly is the only flaw about this fragrance. Oh, well. I guess you can’t have everything. I am still happy to have this. I haven’t really smelled anything like it. Cola earns extra credit for being unique. All things considered, I would give this a 7.5 out of 10.

I ordered from Smallflower and this is a nice fizzy effervescent Coca Cola scent. It is quite light. So be sure to spray this more than usual. If is pleasant. Definitely more for the Spring and Summer months. It is not a bold scent. I do like it because it is light, sits closer to the skin,refreshing and not that expensive. Outremer is pronounced OO-TRE-MARE by the way. I suggest buying two 50ml bottles from Smallflower. The reason I say two bottles is because you should spray Cola generously. Maybe even overspray this one. Cola can also be layered with the Outremer Vanille( Oddly enough they offer Vanille in a 100ml bottle. Great scent too.)

This is a mini review. First impression: smells just like Cola. Finally I own a fragrance that captures the Cola scent. Citrusy, spicy (in a root beery, gingery, saccharine way as opposed to savory kind of way) effervescent. Can't speak to longevity yet. This review is just after 5 mins of wear. I'll come back and add to this review after a full outdoor wear. Review after many full wears: still a great realistic cola scent, it doesnt really project or last very long. It lasts less than an hour on my skin, much longer on clothes maybe 3 to 5 hours. Still doesn't project much even off clothing. What a disappointment because it smells so good.

This really delivers a super realistic cola! To my nose, it smells just like a cola gummy, which makes it incredibly fun and delicious to wear. It's sweet, nostalgic, and surprisingly convincing. The biggest downside, as others have mentioned, is the performance. Longevity is admittedly quite poor and I could barely detect it after an hour. Thankfully, it's affordably priced, so reapplying throughout the day doesn't bother me too much. If you're after a photorealistic cola scent and don't mind doing frequent touch-ups, this is a great option.

Smelling like cola sounds amazing, but after a while my nose just deconstructs the scent and I smell sweetness, ginger, and some spice. I will enjoy sniffing the bottle from time to time, but I don't think I will actually wear it again unless I can find a scent to layer it with. I much prefer Bad Boys Are No Good But Good Boys Are No Fun By Kilian which manages a cola vibe but doesn't smell like actual cola, and is much better than Creation-E or other scents that are supposed to be cola.

It doesn’t last long (~2.5 hrs?), but still a very strong like! Smells exactly like “Haribo Fizzy Cola gummi” candies taste. My guy friends are fascinated by this scent. One of them even asks me to spray it on him because he likes the scent so much lol. Versatile and easy scent for all year long, imo. And the bottle is freakin' cool. I like the vintage feel. This is fairly unisex and is generally a crowd pleaser. Easy, fun gift idea, too! Worth the price, at 20$.

It's the fragrance I never knew I always wanted. I just love this. It's sweet, but it's so different from everything else in my collection. They completely nailed how a cola smells. It's light and fresh, totally fun and wearable even in hot and humid weather. It's an excellent everyday perfume, but I can imagine wearing it for more formal occasions too because of how unusual it is.

Smells like an old fashioned soda shop and while it doesn't last long at all, it's become a staple alongside my vintages as it adds a sort of sweet whimsy and fizz to what can be stuffy scents in some seasons. I don't think this scent is best alone even though it's truly amazing on it's own, it can really stick around when layered.

This smells exactly like a a gummy candy cola, it’s fizzy spicy and alittle sweet. Unfortunately it lasts about 45 mins max. When I initially spray this I get a strong urge to sneeze which I’ve never gotten from another perfume...weird. Not bad it’s a fun perfume wish it had more longevity.

Nothing much else to add that hasn’t already been said. If you’re looking for a cola scent, this baby is the one! I love to layer this on top of a sugary vanilla so I get a Coke Float scent, so much fun although you do need to re-up the cola topper often. I’d say it’s totally worth it!

Smells like cola. You bet cha! Straight up cola! The kind that came out of the fountain back in the day. I think it would be nice for a, hum, I don't know who. It's neat, I don't know why I bought it, I'll never wear it. But if you want to smell like cola, this is your baby!

Pros: Smell like a wonderful true cola! Exactly as you want it to smell. Blissful. Cons: Literally lasted, and I am not exaggerating, 15 seconds. Not acceptable. I returned it. Maybe I got a rogue bottle. I'll try it again when I can. Maybe something changed.

If you want to smell like a freshly opened Coca-Cola this is the fragrance for you. A light and delicious cola scent that mellows quickly and has moderate longevity. It's so delicious and affordable you'll want to spritz it throughout the day.

Picture perfect cola right out of the bottle but quickly fades into warm spices. Not necessarily a bad thing for me! If you want the cola scent to stay I'd recommend following the advice of the other users and overspray this one.

It does smell of cola, but not like someone spilled their drink on you. There's a sweet-fruity and slightly herbal undertone to this fragrance. Not over sweet or cloying at all. Extremely interesting, in fact.

Before i got it, i thought its would kind of remind me of cola in some way, but it smells exactly like cola. I am impressed. To walk around smelling like cola is awesome.

A very realistic Coca Cola scent. Like, just opened the bottle and inhaled realistic. I can practically smell the bubbles. Sweet, gingery, and even a bit sour. Fun!

I wish so badly that this smelled on skin like it does on paper / in the bottle. On a tester this is incredibly realistic cola, note perfect. It's fizzy, it's sugary, it's frankly perfect. On skin, however, this is all dry spices and woods, powdery in a dusty rotten wood way. I was so excited to layer this with a cherry scent, but alas...

A fast bubbly splash of Coca-Cola, cheeky spice and snappy sweet citrus, and then it's gone. Too much caffeine for a children's party, too juvenile for cocktails. This is the quick kiss at a high school locker between classes--fresh laughter and a pop of effervescence--then nothing but a memory.

This smells like flat coke for 2.5 seconds then it morphs into pink bubblegum. It also has no staying power. What a bummer.

Cola by Outremer is my 1st niche indie perfume. I purchased it online from a website that sells fragrances in many forms such as bath oils, aroma therapy, scented candles and perfumed soap called Wallflower. This is a delicious sweet citrusy fragrance that plays tricks on you. Sure it smells just like Coca Cola or rather a fresh cold glass of Coke when you first open it. It's fizzy and bubbly. You remember when you were a kid and you opened up a can or bottle of soda and that popping fizziness comes out? You pour the Coke into a glass and those bubbles are there. If you drink it fast it smells fresh and like lemon or orange? That's exactly what this smells like. It's a nostalgic scent of Coke on ice, a bottle of Pepsi or Cherry Coke. I also detected something just a bit like vanilla way at the bottom. It's very cool how they recreated the Coca Cola scent. I wear this only to a few children's parties that serve Coca Cola or Pepsi/Dr. Pepper. They are amazed at how I smell of Coca Cola and ask about my perfume. I love to get people to notice me wearing odd fragrances. This is also very much like a Demeter Fragrance and as such it doesn't have a long life. It's on for about an hour before I have to reapply and spritz it on me again. It's not bad to wear to a party in the summer, to the beach, nothing mind blowing nothing that makes a statement. Just a bottle of Coca Cola in the summer. Yum.

Cola is a fun fragrance, one I would never have thought to try. I should clarify that yes, this is a cola note but it is not super-sweet and sugary; you won’t be attracting bees. It is spicy, like cloves and nutmeg but not like some of the baking-spice heavy fragrances that are so serious—I love them, but they are not for summer. This is a spicy, summer scent. One of my favorite spicy fragrances is Rare Rubies by Avon, which is a wintery spicy fragrance with a nice warm, musk and sandalwood combination. If Rare Rubies went to the beach and left her “winter clothes” at home—this is how she’d smell: spicy, light and fresh. Cola also reminds me of Toujour Moi, which has a rich, rooty-spicy note that is reminiscent of cola. Is Cola the smell of an adolescent Toujour Moi? My ultimate impression is of a youthful, casual scent that would be very nice for those who like a spicy oriental but want something summery. It’s simple and linear; longevity at least 3 hours, sillage at least modest.

Smells like old time glass Coke bottles when you first open up the lid and put your nose into it. Fresh, with a citrusy scent at the start, sharp, but not harsh, although a bit cold, like Coke that has been in the ice box. The citrus note is actually pretty realistic to actual Coke or Pepsi cans because they contain citrus scents. Here though they are sweetened by additional nondescript sweet scents like a vanilla, totally a vanilla Coke or cherry and vanilla Coke. Yummy! But where would one wear this? No seriously where would you go smelling of Coca Cola? Answer: A Party! This is a festive feel good fun fragrance to wear to a summer party or a pool party. It can be worn to a children's birthday party or your own birthday party. It doesn't take itself seriously and it doesn't make a statement. It's just a good Coke scent to lift your spirits and to get you in a good mood. This perfume is delicious. It can also be worn to the beach. Love it.

I adore this perfume and it would be close to perfect for me if it only had some longevity to it. It has lovely top and mid notes, but about zero on the base. It doesn't seem to last very long at all. Last summer I realized how much I love the smell of cola (even though I hate to drink it!), and this perfume captures that scent perfectly. It's the SCENT of cola, not its too-sweet flavor, by the way. The perfume is a combination of spice, floral, herbal, citrus...each very light and well balanced with the others. Friendly and warm but a little bit mysterious. Both modern and vintage. I love it. Great for summer or winter. It is both complex and linear. Complex in that there are many notes and in a given moment you might catch one or the other, but linear in that you can get any of the notes at any time, there's no set progression. Well, alas, the progression is that it fades to nothing, far too quickly.

An indie niche fragrance to satisfy your soda itch. Avoiding drinking sodas like Pepsi Coke and Dr. Pepper? Why not just smell of it instead to fill your nose with the pleasurable scent of the drink? This is 100 percent very realistic and smells like when you inhale the scent of a fresh cold glass Coca Cola bottle when you remove it's lid. As such it's a fragrance for those of us with memories of drinking Coke in the summer time. I used to drink Coke and Pepsi as a child but only in the summer and at parties with other kids. It was always the sure sign that it was summer time and I was out of school for the summer. Refreshing and delicious. It's also very amusing to smell like this when people get close to you and smell a soda on you LOL A fun fragrance.

Composed of lemon and spices, Cola is sweet without being cloying or obnoxious - instead, it is bubby and cheerful, good for all-occasions wear, and thoroughly pleasant. Like putting your nose to a glass bottle of Coca-Cola and breathing deeply. Unisex through and through, and for many, a potentially nostalgic scent. Fun and inviting, it doesn't take itself seriously at all. If only there was more longevity to this playful little bottle - It's gone in two hours on me. Alas! But I wear it anyway, because it's a great pick-me-up.

I've been dying to try this and was given a sample by a sweet Fragrantican friend. It truly smells like a freshly opened can of Coke! Longevity is good and, at $25-30, the price is right. However, I'm just not interested in smelling like this personally. It could be a great signature for a fun, quirky person and I'd love to smell it on someone out in the world. Just not myself. Glad I sampled this though!

I have two cola perfumes, this one and le soda pop from le monde gourmand and I have to say you can definitely smell the subtle spice of cola in this one compares to le soda pop!! It also seems to last longer, though I still find myself having to spray more on to really smell it. Still though, this is a very nice summer time perfume that really does smell like cola somehow.

This really does smell exactly like Cola! Be prepared to spray throughout the day because the longevity is poor. It's $20 on the Smallflower website. Worth every penny. I do wish it lasted as long as Vanille from the same house- Outremer. When I wear it, I think summer barbeques and beach days. It's a love 🥰

I really wanted to love this. The opening smells identical to gummi cola bottle candy, and that's amazing. Unfortunately, it dries down into something not as pleasant and I'm honestly not in love with it.

I was looking for a nice cola perfume, and this does the job! It isn't very strong, but the scent is pleasant and sweet.
