Cherry Moon

Super-love this one. It's mouth-watering, syrupy cherry with sparkling sugar and it is luscious. I can't say there's zero cough-drop factor but that's not bothering me at all. What it mostly reminds me of is the Italian cherry syrup we used to put in sparkling water. I also smell the lovely cherry blossom note. It's cherry heaven, in my humble opinion. 9/10.

I purchased the Cherry Moon hair and body mist yesterday. Lo and behold, I did get some tart cherry as opposed to cherry blossom. I think I loved it, but it WAS fleeting. I will consider the eau de ?? if reviews tell me it has more staying power.

I bought this blind because it was $15 online... and THEN saw the negative reviews saying it smells like cat urine. After a nervous week of waiting for it to arrive, I’ve just applied it for the first time. The first notes are super heavy sugar— almost headache worthy, but not quite— which quickly turns into a tart cherry, almost grape candy scent. As it dries down, it becomes more cherry blossom heavy— green, powdery, very sweet, and a little musky. I think the combination of musk, powder, and sugar is what is giving some noses the much more unpleasant profile than I’m picking up on. It’s way stronger upon spray than once it dries down, and would layer well (but with a delicate hand) alongside Mugler’s Alien, as well as possibly a couple other fragrances I own to balance out the floral and sugar with some depth. UPDATE! This fragrance layers well with Kayali Eden, Alien, and Alien Goddess Intense to bring out more of the tart cherry and balance the sugars. It’s not my favorite on its own, but lasts longer and smells better when used as a layering fragrance. Wouldn’t repurchase probably, but a fun scent to use to mix sh*t up when I’m bored of what I wear!

This one was a disappointment BUT it layers very well with a good, expensive vanilla fragrance, with Cacharel's Yes I Am, which is raspberry, and over coffee scents like Black Opium. It's what's keeping me from using it as an air freshener because it's too short-lived, about 1 hour, and it's not any better than a Parfums de Coeur body spray. It's not up to Pacifica's standards. Edit: It's rather cherry Chapstick memories, a tad medicinal, and growing on me because I've accepted this isn't remotely close to a realistic cherry at all. This spring and summer I've been layering it with The Body Shop Strawberry and The Body Shop Satsuma, separately. The next experiment will be with Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde for a cherry-limeade effect. If it works, I'll update!

Crushed Smarties candy. If you aren't thinking Escada Cherries in the Air, it's not bad, really. I love cherry notes and they vary widely in their expressions. There's a hit of maraschino cherry here, very candied. Perfect for Halloween or Cosplay or something fun in the kitchen. P.S. the body mist has an off scent due to the diluent... it's a wet almost bready sort of scent with just a hint of the maraschino cherry, like the waxy last sip of a cherry icee from a convenience store. Nostalgic, actually.

This collection is in Target. They didn't have any testers out yet though, so I bought this one in the edp blindly. It is very cherry (not blossom), and has kind of a cough medicine smell to it. I did enjoy wearing it, but it didn't last long at all. Within an hour, it turned into a skin scent that I could barely smell. Good for the price though, and I'm glad I got it.

Hoo, yikes, that’s straight up cough syrup in the opening. If you can get past that, it’s... not bad? It’s not really doing anything for me, though. I’ll keep it around for layering, because the dry down has that nondescript sweet scent that’s better when combined with other fragrances. I’m talking about the edp, not the body mist. The body mist smells like a sneeze. Avoid.

I’m getting a bright, candied cherry flavor with a subtle cherry blossom underneath. It reminds me a bit of cherry sweet tarts- it’s not a medicinal or syrupy cherry- very different style than say, Prada Candy Gloss or LPRN. This has a lighter, greener feel to it. And that bottle is a real beauty!

Bath & Body Works Cherry Blossom if it was made by Justice or any other preteen brand. This is almost pure sugar and you have to remind yourself that it’s supposed to be a cherry blossom fragrance after you spray it. I have the body mist and it’s okay on clothes but NEVER anywhere near my skin. Something about the sugary note smells almost rancid and funky if you try to wear it as a perfume, like old gumballs that have been sitting in a car.

Do not blind buy this, I brought this for the cherry note. When I first spray this, it smells so bad like a medicinal, nasty, bitter, cherry cough syrup. Makes you wanna gag so bad. Then it turns to like a cheap sweet cherry candy. As I repeat do not blind buy this. Sniff it at the store or tester first. It does not last long like almost all of pacifica perfume line.

Just got this and it literally smells like cat piss??? WTH? Especially when you spray on the skin you immediately get cat piss. So disappointed, asked me friend and my sister what they got out of it without saying anything they said literally cat piss mixed with like grapefruit or something 👎 should just stick to the expensive ones from now on lol

Nauseatingly sweet it's so overstimulating to smell, thank god it doesn't last very long. Really nice scent in theory, but in actuality, it's just way too much unless you are like 8 years old. I bought this in hopes of a cherry forward scent but nothing can get past that horrendous sugary mess.

Of course fragrance is subjective however, the vast majority of comments are correct. This smells horrible. I ended up selling it because I just couldn’t bring myself to give it away to a loved one. I hope the person who purchased it actually likes the cologne and just wanted a back up. It seriously smells like a mix of baby throw up, play doh and a dash of cherry cough syrup. If you’re looking for a dupe for TM Lost Cherry this is NOT it. This doesn’t remind of anything from VS and B&BW. This is intolerable.

First review here, and I am just astounded. This smells like cat urine! I keep sniffing my hand to see if the dry down will make that go away, but ew, it doesn’t. Atrocious. Cannot believe this was ever sold. Should have known something was up when it went on steep sale. Ordered from Pacifica directly and it won’t be worth the return, but ooooh I might just throw out my first ever bottle. Gag.

This one smelled like Tylenol to me. It seems like they're discontinuing this one because I didn't see it there last time I went to Target and I saw it was 50% off on the Pacifica website. This was my least favorite of the Moon Moods collection.

The opening is a quick blast of red Robitussin that quickly dissipates into a cherry/cat urine base that will make your eyes water. The only perfume I've ever thrown out. The worst out of the moon moods and who knows why it ever came to market

Truly the most awful perfume I've ever smelled. I don't even know how to describe it. It's sweet for sure but something smells artificially rotten. It's like if japanese cherry blossom from bath and body was even worse.

Was so excited from the bottle and notes. Opened it up and sprayed it and it smells like a litter box full of cat pee and NyQuil. I got straight up offended. Never will blind but from this brand again.

Cherry / grape -flavored skittles, sugus and fanta... It becomes a sour candy if you overspray EDIT: changing this to a hate because now it reminds me of dirty smell in subway stations

Smells like those nasty old candy necklaces. Yuck. Not fresh at all. I should have heeded everyone else’s warning.

Yup this has that cough syrup smell. Or rather a cherry flavored toothpaste you get at the dentists. But you know what, I like this. Honestly it’s not that different to my nose compared to something like L’Interdit which has a more grape cough syrup note, yet we pay so much more for that. Same with lost cherry by Tom ford. This perfume sits close to the skin but you can detect wafts of it around you when you move around and it blends with your skin chemistry into something that smells like a cherry lemonade, which I think is the sugar note combined with the florals of the cherry blossom. You will smell cool, unique, and classy in a more youthful way, and with the low sillage you won’t give anyone a headache. I don’t know if they are going to keep this scent around, because I got mine on final sale.

I don't know why, but the first blast was refreshing cherry candy, but as it dries down, I get a lychee candy note from it. Someone pointed out below that there's a plastic doll smell to it, and I agree. It's actually quite interesting and yummy to me. I get the doll head / scented vinyl eraser vibe from Prada Candy Gloss and Montale Mukhallat, but with different fruit notes, and now I get it with this, though I think it is less pronounced here, whereas the Mukhallat is really obvious. That's actually a comforting childhood scent for me, since I used to collect those erasers like mad, but these smell far nicer and are wearable versions of scented erasers. I bought all five bottles from this collection, but this is the only one where I would consider getting a backup.

I was initially drawn to this perfume because Pacifica has some good fragrances and I'm a huge Prince fan (RIP). The cherry blossom complements the cherry note well, which makes it more of a realistic cherry but it still smells fairly synthetic and reminiscent of cough medicine. Then it hit me ...cat pee ...this perfume smells like cat pee. Once my nose picked up on a urine note, I couldn't smell anything else. Not sure if it's how one of notes interacts with my skin, but I'm not the only one who has experienced it. I promptly returned this to Target.

This is a very fun and immature candy scent. It smells completely identical to Nerds candy. The sugary, artificial fruit flavor, citric acid blast to your palate, slightly sour tang of them will make your nose tingle a bit. Very fun, novel. Not tacky or chemical, either. Just a cheerful, brief little sugar rush. Lasted about 30 minutes max on my skin. Cute and appropriate for teens/kids.

While I'm not really into cat urine , I did get this tonight at Target on clearance for $6.59. Cherry Moon is not going to do you for your "cherry fix". It's a kinda "tart sour berry mix" (seems like there is blueberry, a tiny touch of cherry & a hint of grapefruit which is giving these gals below me a "pissy" note). This is more of a teen sour hard candy smell . Sour Patch Kids ?

It smells like a Barbie doll. It has a very nostalgic 90’s Barbie doll skin smell. You know the smell of the rubber that they’re made of. That sweet plastic smell but in a good way.

This smells like a bratz dolls from the early 2000’s. Not pleasing at all for anyone 13+.
