Contact High

Ripe watermelon with extra sugar sprinkled on the rind. No detectable citrus in this. The lemongrass only serves to ground this a bit, acting almost like a "spicy" note. Yes, lasting power is not great, as the fragrance is almost completely undetectable on my skin after four hours. But for me, this is still a very enjoyable perfume. I would reach for this more often, but it's increasingly difficult to find. The description/name is spot on, this is a happy, cheerful fragrance.

This has a nice watermelon scent, but (a) the Aromapower line does not have much projection or sillage, and (b) if you're looking for this kind of watermelon scent, you'd have better luck with Vera Wang Princess Revolution, because you'd be able to spray it on clothes and the bottle would last longer. The Aromapower line is a little overpriced for what you get and the quality of it.

Yes, I'm reviewing it again, because I noticed a new facet of it while wearing it tonight. The watermelon in the top notes smells exactly like Watermelon Bubble Yum bubble gum. I can even smell the crystalline sweetness of the sugar granules. The watermelon doesn't last long, however, and you're left with the sugar base.

Watermelon bubble gum! It’s a nice sweet fruity scent. After an hour there’s very little scent left and it’s a tad bitter. I still like it. 🙂

This is full on watermelon jolly rancher. I don’t mind the fragrance, but every time I spray it I sneeze. Something in it irritates me.

Like a summer getaway, Contact High is fun but ephemeral. The watermelon opening is juicy and sweet, but before you can comprehend whether if it smells like real watermelon (within 30 seconds), it’s gone. It leaves with a creamy (think artificial sandalwood), sugar sweet scent. If you ever had White Rabbit candy, this smells like that, with an undertone that reminds me of home renovation (paint? glue?). It doesn’t turn sour or rotten like other fruity scents. It’s extremely sweet. Out of all the sweet perfumes I’ve tried, I can maybe think of one more perfume that is sweeter than this. To name a couple famous sweet scents, Contact High is sweeter than LVEB, and easily dwarfs Mugler Angel. I find it between a like and love for me right now. Sillage is between skin scent and arm length.

this is a lovely artificial watermelon bubblegum like others have said- but it is way too young, i do not want to smell like this! Something for a little girl's shampoo or body mist perhaps!

If you're looking for a "watermelon fix" this is not it. I like this new line of Pacificas but the longevity is poor . Not a safe "blind buy".
