Enchanted Woods

I'm just gonna say it: Enchanted Woods is my favorite Pacifica (thus far) and overall an excellent perfume, at least in my opinion. I get that this is a little divisive given the perfume's mentholated overtones, but idk, I'm an oddball who enjoys mentholated and camphorous scents, and besides, I don't find that aspect of the perfume to be very strong. And yeah, I have to agree that it smells really hippie dippy, which is also very much my vibe. For me, it kicks off with sharp, gin-like juniper, which fades quickly but still hangs around to color the experience of the rest of the perfume. The opening reveals itself to be quite the bouquet -- geranium and patchouli, a touch of bergamot and vetiver, all twining together to make this surprisingly sweet-floral accord that somehow manages to be creamy too. That is the main experience of the perfume from start to finish. It lives up to the name Enchanted Woods, in my opinion. Green, alive, in bloom, magical. Fairies and gnomes in forest shadows, holding conference on toadstools. The final remnant of it is strangely vanilla-adjacent. Explosive performance at first, then drops off quickly to a comfy scent bubble. I do wish it lasted longer until becoming a barely detectable skin-scent -- 4 hours or so. But it does wonderfully and clothes and especially on hair -- I love the feeling of Enchanted Woods rising from my hair on a cold evening. Reminds me a lot of Pacifica's Himalayan Patchouli Berry, but less sugary-fruity sweet. All in all, I can't believe they discontinued Enchanted Woods, it kicked butt. I will be cherishing my bottle until the inevitable heat death of the universe.

I really love this. I bought the mist and the perfume and love them both. To my nose they smell the same and both have good sileage and lasting power. On first spray this is slightly sharp woody fragrance but dies down very quickly to a slightly sweeter woody smell not quite sandalwood but sweet like sandalwood is. I'm not good at describing fragrances but I really love this one a lot and I heard they may discontinue it so I will be buying a backup bottle soon. Price is ridiculously low right now if you buy directly from Pacificas website also. This is in my top fragrances that I love and I have many in my collection. I dont see vanilla in the notes but to me it is a little like a Vanilla Woods fragrance, just cant say how much I love this enough. I would not call it a safe blind buy except that right now its only $11 so maybe it is. If it smells too sharp to you on first spray just give it 5 minutes. Worth the wait. For some reason this site never lets me choose "love" can only choose like for fragrances, love does not appear in the box for me.

Pretty! Just received this lovely bottle--great design as usual for Pacifica. The perfume is unusual for them--the initial blast is heavily evergreen with a mild sweet and floral base. The cardamom is initially less evident but on me, comes to dominate after a few minutes. Pleasant and earthy; I'm going to wear this all winter. Update: been wearing a while, still a fan, but like a number of their scents, I have to reapply frequently.

If this smells like cleaning products, I want to know where you got your cleaning products because I want to buy the whole line. I totally don’t get the reference to gin and tonic either. I get a huge wallop of cardamom, with a nice bit of dry vetiver and medicinal patchouli. Like L’Elephant lite. Super yum!

Enchanted Woods is lovely...it's heavy on the bergamot and juniper...very fresh and natural smelling...cute bottle and great price point...sits somewhere between the long discontinued Avalon Juniper (less strong) and Tibetan Mountain Temple (less spice)...

Sweet and piney. If pine-cherry candy was a thing, it would taste like how this smells. A bit mentholly but not overpowering. This is definitely a unique one. This may be a strange review but this is a beautifully strange fragrance.

Bought this on a whim, wearing it for the first time today... And it smells like Renaissance Faire. Like straight up RenFair, surrounded by people in costume and noise and the walking past the incense shop with a cup of mead in hand. I love the smell of it, really love it. Unfortunately it seems to dissipate within a few minutes of applying, which is incredibly disappointing. Even if I bury my face into my elbow where it's applied I can only smell a faint and vague sweetness. I would buy more of this if I caught it on sale, but I don't think I can justify the price (even though Pacifica is fairly affordable) when it fades so quickly. That might be my body/my nose, who can say. It brings back a lot of pleasant memories and I really enjoy the scent while it lasts. Worth checking out for anyone having fair withdrawals in this the year of our insanity two thousand and twenty.

I, like SadieBluesLady, only get woody soft sweetness from my bottle of this fragrance. It is effectively a more complex version of the dossier dupe for not a perfume, "Musky Musk". For my blind buy, I enjoy it but looking at this fragrance profile I didn't get the same fragrance it seems. My bottle is an ISO E super bomb, nothing like one of my other favorites, Lalique Encre Noir L'extreme (which is a vetiver & ISO E Super Bomb). I wish I knew what fragrance I actually had! It seems there is a rogue batch that Isn't Quite Right.

This smells really good but its staying power doesn’t live up to most other Pacifica scents. French Lilac, Persian Rose and Tahitian Gardenia last all day on me while I’m lucky if I get 3 hours out of Enchanted Woods. I think this is a very juniper-centric fragrance while the other notes are subtle, but I still like it. It’s very earthy and a little spicy but still feminine. The opening is absolutely beautiful and strong, at least for the first half hour. I just wish it was as long lasting as the reviews have led me to believe.

Strangely...enchanting. This is a great outdoor hippie fairy scent. Nice for certain outdoor activities. Not a daily driver but I reach for it enough on the right occasions that my rollerball is almost out and I had to purchase a spray from someone reselling. Better and more unique and, yes, “woodsy,” than just patchouli.

This mostly comes up patchouli for me, but a really pretty light patchouli. I personally find it's a good fragrance with masculine elements while still being primarily a feminine scent.

After reading the reviews I'm wondering how in the world could all of us be using the same perfume?! I got a sweeter opening than I expected, even a moment that smelled like coconut! So far no woods, which differs significantly from at least 2 other reviewers. I still haven't gotten any forest walk and not a bit of juniper, cardamom, vetiver or patchouli. On me this is a sweet powdery and mostly forgettable scent.

This fragrance smells exactly how a gin and tonic tastes in my memory, it's uncanny really. I don't hate it, but I don't drink anymore so the association is a little overwhelming. I expected something more along the lines of Joya Composition 6, but there is a LOT of sweetness in this one. The dry-down is less sweet, but it still feels boozy. The sweetness in particular is what seems to feel artificial here. I'm not sure what to make of it. It doesn't really inspire me to wear this type of fragrance and it reminds me a little of Demeter "Rain" which I kind of put in the same category of overly citrusy nature fragrances. Longevity is ok, it took about 2-3 hours to start fading on me. Sillage is weak. basically a skin scent after not too long. It's about on par with Pacifica's other offerings. This would need frequent reapplication if your intention was to wear this. If you are looking for a piney, foresty scent, this is not it. I can't see myself wearing this out anywhere. However, if you're looking for a dead-on gin and tonic, this might be the one for you.

The first 20 minutes is straight up Lynchberg Lemonade with a splash of Pine-Sol. Like I’m drunk cleaning the kitchen. After that, it mellows out tremendously and becomes a uni-sex slightly creamy spa like skin scent. It’s clean smelling but not soapy or laundry clean. Zen clean. I live in a forest, this does not smell like the woods, ok maybe a hot tub in the woods, but that stretching it. I like it ok, enough to relegate it to spritzing it in my car. However, the first time wearing it out, I got two compliments-go figure. So it’s sillage is more than you think. It’s just “meh” to me, but it seems to be a crowd pleaser. Office and elevator safe after the first 20 mins. Not a blind buy safe though.

Mentholated and medicinal. I tried scrubbing it off my hand because I disliked it, and it is still there hours later after having scrubbed it off twice. Take my dislike with a grain of salt because I do not enjoy patchouli and woods is also a note I struggle with. Now, I think on a man I might appreciate it. It definitely smelled masculine to me, way more masculine than lots of unisex offerings. It's odd to me that there aren't any listed notes explaining why it smells mentholated or medicinal, but to me it does. It's also not sweet, and it almost has that inside an old church smell, or like how the inside of an old wooden box might smell. It's sort of intriguing, but not something I want to wear.

Something about geranium in scents tends to overpower everything else on me and turns the scent from what could have been fresh and spicy to a powdery spice that does not work for me unfortunately.

I did not like this at all, and I usually like the woodier scents. I think the different notes clash, rather than compliment. Could just be my skin chemistry though. I washed it off immediately, so I don't know what the dry-down is like. I'm glad I got the little roller-ball. I was able to give it to a friend.

I bought this on sale for $11 as "last call" (they're discontinuing it). I made the mistake of spraying myself twice with it, it is definitely strong. In the opening I did see what people have commented about it being unisex. It quickly became strong bergamot and pine (juniper), so strong it was almost like cleaning products. But the cardamom helped give the sharpness a slight spiciness too. Later on the geranium came in and things started to get to be more "aged" for me and a bit cloying/clashing. After 30 minutes I washed it off. I'll try it again but with one spray... this perfume may be something that needs to be layered for me to find it wearable.

I have Beach Lavender Lemon from this house as well and that one is a one note sugary lemon bomb that lasts for about 30 minutes before disappearing. Due to the price I went ahead and picked this up despite my experience with the aforementioned fragrance and I'm glad I did. This one is great! Nicely blended if a bit juniper-forward, a touch of smokiness in there from the vetiver, but best of all, at least on me, this one lasts for a perfectly normal 4 or 5 hours -and- seems to have decent projection. Picked this up for $7 at TJ Maxx, unbeatable for that price. Definitely worth full retail too.

Just picked this up on the Pacifica website for 1/2 price... To my way of thinking it is certainly reminiscent of Pacifica's discontinued Tibetan Mountain Temple as it shares many of the same notes. I like the addition of the cardamon, bergamot and juniper and to me it comes across as a little more masculine than the former TMT. It dries down to pretty much a vetiver / patchouli blend that is quite nice. It's not a loud in your face type of fragrance but certainly noticeable still after 4-6 hours on the skin. A good blind buy especially given the price!

If you're looking for something comparable to Enchanted Woods, VS Bombshell Magic (released for the holidays 2022) smells very similar but IMO is even better than Enchanted Woods/has better longevity! Smells like a juniper berry wreath to me and lasts at least 12 hours if not longer on my skin. It's like Enchanted Woods, minus the mentholated note/bad parts + the good parts enhanced.

A TJ Maxx buy. Very nice for the price. Unisex for sure. More woodsy than I usually go for, but I’ll enjoy wearing this. It’s a teeny bottle, so it’ll be gone before the end of summer for sure. You kind of can’t go wrong with this, especially for $7.99.

Starts with a woody-pine and vetiver blast. Mellows down to something that reminds me of gingersnap, but my friend says was more like cedar. Less sweet than most Pacificas. Kind of a hippie scent to me. Overall like.
