Kindred Spirit

This is lovely! I wasn't expecting much bc of my experience with Silver Moon last year, but I have no issues with smelling the notes in this one. And what a great mix of notes. The Myrrh really amps up a slightly sweet rose, giving it that gorgeous spice as only Myrrh can. Palo santo wood gives it this lemony woody (this is my first perfume with it and I'm impressed with the depth it gave to the overall composition) thing~y, for lack of a better word. A nice counterpoint to what could have become just another boring sweetly spiced rose. Scent wise, totally impressed. But.....there's always a catch, right? The longevity isn't more than an hour, sillage is right for me, meaning from my wrist or back of hand to my nose. At this price point, it's not an issue bc it's still a decent skin scent. I really like that from a chemical standpoint, it leaves a smaller foot print on my skin as well. I have Lord of Misrule by Lush and love it, too. They don't smell alike to me, not even close. The sweet, peppery patch and gorgeous vanilla in that one has a different effect. Rose Jam is only similar in the broadest of ways. If you just want one sweet, slightly spicy rose, then maybe this one would be redundant ~ you'd miss that gorgeous wood, though.

A really nice throw-back to the late 70's and early 80's. This scent is kind of an incensy, light scent. It reminds me of the incense that we burned in the 1970's when there was "free love" and everybody smoked pot. "That's" the smell. But framed up against 2021, it just comes across differently, ie, it's still good after all these years! It's deep and sexy, at an organic level, not a club level. This could easily be a watch-movie stay-at-home and cuddle fragrance. It's exceedingly seductive if you wear it that way. The sillage sits fairly close to your skin but other people will smell it and indeed you will too. It's warm and inviting. Or, it doubles as light and comforting, perfectly fine for day-wear and especially in the fall. Think "incense" - perfectly fine for day but if you want it to, it can take you into night. It does have a lighter side with a touch of rose and lemon that smells good. Maybe that's the myrrh?? The overall effect is quite nice, switching between deep and sexy and good and light and rosy, all blended into one. I would recommend you try to get this one. It's really nice, especially for fall, winter and it's totally affordable. I purchased the hair & body mist at Marshall's for $4.99.

I love this, this is my signature scent. Everyone tells me I smell like incense when I wear it and that's exactly what I'm going for. The woody, powdery, balsamic spicy sweetness is just so beautiful and sophisticated yet simple with only 3 notes. I love it. Pacifica is one of the few brands I know that can create such beautiful complexity with so few notes, and have it all blend perfectly, but this is my absolute favorite of theirs. I don't agree that this is a dupe for Lush's Lord of Misrule (or vice versa) but I do detect similarities and love both fragrances so I'd wager if you're a fan of one, you'll also love the other. I also don't think it's similar to Rose Jam, I really don't like Rose Jam. I've never smelt Imogen Rose so I can't compare but my guess is it cant compare. So far, nothing has been able to. Musk Amber by Nemat came the closest for me but Kindred Spirit is still much better. I miss this. I wish Pacifica would reintroduce this scent. Maybe with a prettier bottle. Not a fan of this one.

mmm....wonderfully creamy myrrh. The rose is really a background note to the myrrh...not that I'm complaining! I think this perfume pulls it off wonderfully. This scent is sexy to me...not "traditionally sexy" more so in a "hippie-flowerchild freespirited woman" way. Right up my alley. It's youthful and edible and unique. The lemon blends ever so softly in the background...really livening up the palo Santo and musk. Soft, eclectic, reminiscent of something natural and real. This perfume smells raw in a good way. Like holding a chunk or amber resin and a stick of palo Santo with roses blooming softly in the background.

Sugary and ashy, like smoky cotton candy...I know that sounds very, very weird but truth be told, I’ve never smelled myrrh nor palo santo (I know, I know...) but I did pick up the rose in this in addition to the sugary, smoky notes. This is something very different than what I’m used to but I really am enjoying it. The smokiness is not overbearing at all - it is present but soft, and is more like sweet smelling rose incense or potpourri.

Warm, sexy, sweet, seductive! This is a STUNNER! It’s so creamy and yet spicy and sexy. I don’t get much rose from this but I don’t mind because it’s beautiful nonetheless! The myrrh reads so warm and sensual and smoky. This perfume smells “naughty” to me, if there is such a thing. Definitely an evening scent, especially for a date night.

I love this but there is no rose and no palo santo. This really is an amber/labdanum fragrance. Lovely for winter. This reminds me a bit of their Sugared Amber Dreams.

I can't believe how much I liked this lol it was really strong but somehow it wasn't giving old lady at all. If you like incense and roses you would probably like this

Really like this! It smells similar to Auric Blend’s Amber Butter. I mainly smell the myrrh with a hint of pine and floral. Would be nice for Fall!

If you're a fan of Lush products, this is pretty much an exact dupe for Lord Of Misrule. If you're not familiar with Lush, LOM's 3 notes are vanilla, black pepper, and patchouli. While exactly zero of those notes are listed for this fragrance, that's what it smells like. Something sweet, something spicy, something earthy. I would love this fragrance a lot more if it lasted longer than an hour. But alas...

I had no idea what Palo Santo smelled like before I blindly bought this perfume, but it's very similar to amber. It's quite heavy in this fragrance and is almost cloying. It is unique and has an incense type feel to it which almost drowns the rose out. It's nice, not particularly long lasting or a great performer, but nice when you want something a little lighter but different.

This has been the only scent I enjoyed out of this particular set of hair and body mists from Pacifica. You absolutely have to enjoy patchouli to like this one. It is the dominant note followed by rose and vanilla. You can smell them all and they combine wonderfully to create a floral sweet hippy scent that feels comforting. Slightly spicy, not overwhelming.

I love this but to me it’s not a dupe for Lord of Misrule. Its more rosy and no vanilla and I would say its far more feminine. It does share the same spice so I would put them in the same category, I would 100% say if you like Lord of Misrule you NEED to try this. Its a super incensed smell. Very heavy on myrrh and very spicy.

Palo Santo does not smell like amber. It's a wood, and it smells like wood. The name literally translates into Holy Wood. What people are likely smelling is the myrrh. In any case, I love this! It's a sublimely gorgeous, sweet, dusky, powdery, romantic rose perfume. The only problem is, there's virtually no projection and the longevity is poor. This is likely due to the use of purely natural ingredients and a low concentration of the fragrance. For the delightful experience and extremely affordable price point, who can complain?

So far this is the only one I've smelled from the Natural Origins line. I was able to get it for only 5 bucks at Marshalls. It's not as long lasting as I'd like it to be, but I get around that by mixing it with Nag Champa oil. It's like a modern day hippie child with a touch of sophistication. The myrrh is very light and pairs well with the dusty rose. I love it! I just wish it projected a tiny bit more on it's own. A body cream companion would have been a great idea.
