Mediterranean Fig

When I bought this about two years ago I thought it was strictly for fall or early winter as it struck me as green, yes, but heavy rather than light. The fig and palm leaf, though, balance and bloom in rainy warm weather. On my skin it wears 4+ hours. In my hair and on my clothes it's more like 8+, as it melts and becomes fixed. This past fall I layered it over vanilla to warm it up. For spring and summer I can see it layered under O de Lancome or even Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric G in its milky, lightly sweet coconut waft. It's freshness in a bottle without being too green, too citrus, or too predictable. Poly kala.

I was devastated to hear that this was discontinued! What an universally appealing, classy, warm, sexy, clean, sophisticated but versatile scent. The fig and palm give this a very green almost a vegetal quality but the cyclamen, moss and sandalwood provide a warm, earthy undertone. It is so sexy and inviting but not overpowering. Every time I wear this, I get at least 1 compliment. But get this, it is only $20.00 for the spray, $17,00 for the roller. I am stocking up while I can because those compliments are priceless!

Mediterranean Fig is a crisp green fragrance. Although this scent is fresh with a citrus-like quality to it, I feel it would be successfully worn in cool weather. The spiciness of the clove,tinge of orange or lemon, and not-too-sweet fig work well for me.So many elements to enjoy from just the few notes. This is certainly a scent for myself, but also something I would like to nuzzle up to on my mate.I do believe I am becoming a huge fan of Pacifica. Much thanks to Faubel for the sample.

This is very fresh and green to me, even more so than woody. It seems great for warm summer days and is very light on my skin. I also have Philosykos, and this seems sweeter. Philosykos is so green to me that it resembles freshly cut grass, and this fig not as much. I've gotten hooked on it lately and am wearing it daily. I think it's wonderful. It doesn't last as long as some, but the price is right and because of it I don't mind reapplying.

I never owned this one, but would spritz myself whenever it was on display. SO GOOD! This was a fig fragrance! And it was so smooth on me. Addictive on my wrists. I should have picked up one of the small travel bottles years ago, but I figured there was time. Of course it's discontinued! Would love to find something that comes close.

This is one of my favorite smells in the whole world, absolutely. It smells super fresh, as if you've just stepped out of the shower, and just has this..........AMAZINGNESS that I can't put my finger on. must be the fig......(what does fig really smell like though?). A very feminine scent, I think.

I cannot for the life of me understand why I did not buy this perfume when it was available for like $20 at Whole Foods. I haven’t smelled anything like it before. Dyptique doesn’t even come close. What a shame it’s discontinued, and even more shame that I missed out on the opportunity to buy it.

I have it in the solid parfume form. Fig is one of my favorite note and this is very natural smelling. The only thing to complain is the sillage, sits very close to skin. But it last about 4h wich i think is ok for a solid and natural based fragrance. If you like fig you should give this a try.

THIS is the fig scent I've been looking for -- just sweet and green enough. The rollerball has enough sillage for layering (especially with light gourmands), without being overwhelming. And this might be the first time I've actually enjoyed noticing sandalwood in a fragrance. Overall 9/10

I love that this smells like the entire fig tree, wood, leaves, ripe fruit. The leaf of the fig tree smells a little bit like coconut and you get that, ever-so-faintly in this scent. It's true, though, I wish the solid had better longetivy, but the tin travels well in my bag. ;-)

I love fig and Pacifica's Mediterranean Fig is great for the price. It is green and earthy and woody. A wonderful scent. On me, it lasts a good 12 hours when paired with the lotion. A lot longer than some pricier fragrances I own.

Very scrumptious smell- fig is prominent but not overpowering. Great organic everyday smell- never too much to take kids to the swings. Love the ingredients, smell and price. Get it!!!

Really nice fig scent. I would agree with another reviewer on here who said this is quite similar to Fig Apricot by Fresh, minus the apricot. It's not a sweet or sugary fig, it's fleshy, mossy, full and green. I would say it's even a bit grassy, although definitely not as grassy as Jo Malone Wild Fig & Cassis. I don't see any similarity to BBW Brown Sugar & Fig - that one is a much sweeter fig and more of a winter comfort scent in comparison to this. Pacific Mediterranean Fig is a great one to go for if you want a fresh, earthy, creamy, realistic fig scent. Personally I think I still prefer Fresh Fig Apricot, but this one is an amazing perfume for such a low price and I much prefer it over Jo Malone's high-priced fig scent.

I bought this fragrance years ago. My husband hated it w/ a passion so I put it away. I got it out yesterday morning to see what had happened to it and wow it has changed! A few years of aging has made it better if you can believe that! The color is a warm amber now and when I sprayed it in the air it was richer, the fig even more ripe, the greens were greener and the spicy and earthy notes were richer. I'm glad I kept it since I found out it is being discontinued. Now that I have an aged bottle I will treasure it even more.

Okay so there is one note in here I don't love. Up close it is glorious fig and sandalwood, at a distance something is slightly amiss. Rather than get rid of this interesting fume though, I decided to try mixing her with some of my more saccharine sweet frags. Fun, interesting and gorgeous! It goes very well with Xoxo Amore and it creates an almost cucumber note if you combine it with BCBG. I will be keeping this to use for added depth and woodiness in my gourmands and fruity florals!

I greatly prefer Med Fig over Diptyque's figgy perfume. This one is more than just a bland piece of unfinished birch. It's woody, but it's warm. You can certainly smell the fig fruit itself. I don't smell any hint of spice at all, so I don't know what others are talking about. It's pure fig. I think this would be gorgeous on a man.

I bought this in a small size at Whole Foods after smelling the samples. I have 3 other Pacifica perfumes, all spicy/woodsy. It's a refreshing perfume to apply when you're out & about and want to smell nice but not overwhelming. Maybe it would smell great on a guy (my husband wouldn't wear it) but it's still feminine enough for me.

I have the spray perfume. I really like this one a lot. I don't get any fig note and I think the oak moss substitute doesn't quite come in right. But it's very clean and green/fresh. The reason I like it is because it's pleasing and not strong. You can wear it to work or just as a nice touch without it overpowering your day.

Didn't like this one at first, but it's growing on me. Starts out almost dusty, but then the fig really comes through. There is also something almost almond-like in this perfume - not a sweet marzipan almond, but more like a natural nutty almond. I agree with kraxa, this is very appealing in an organic sort of way
