Moonray Bloom

I tested this at Target yesterday and could not believe how much I loved this fragrance. Unfortunately, Target only had the body spray version and I knew I would want the perfume so I held off on buying. I can't even describe it. I'm sure once I buy it and spend time concentrating I'll be able to get a better feel for how to describe this scent. I want to say sweet berries, sweet florals...if "holographic purple" was a scent, this is what it would smell like. Helpful, I know.

This is so beautiful. It smells like Jasmine to me. I can already tell I will be repurchasing. I own the perfume and am waiting for the shimmer solid perfume to arrive in the mail.

I am at a loss as how to describe this scent. Ozone? Aldehydes? Something chemically and airy and a little sweet, with just a tiny bit of spiciness that creeps in at the end. I could describe this as "clean", but its almost beyond that in the beginning, and it settles to something earthier in the drydown. Its a very unusual scent that I don't find disagreeable, but it ties my nose in knots trying to understand what I am smelling for the brief time it lingers on my skin.

This is a deep tiare tropical white flower scent. It's not a light floral - it's almost like a suntan gardenia coconut. It doesn't really change over the time and sometimes it smells a bit artificial (like most gardenia notes) but I still like it. This is my second Pacifica perfume (I have the Lilac one) and it's perfect for summer.

I love this perfume, very strongly smelling of fresh gardenias to me, and maybe jasmine in the background as well. It is linear as are other Pacificas, and very natural-smelling.

One of the best Pacificas IMHO. (The best in Lilac!) Safe blind buy. Crowd pleaser.

Oooh. This is a strange little fragrance! It's definitely in a good way though. It's one of those kind of oddball scents that are difficult to pinpoint. Is it ozonic? Yes. Is it fruity? Kind of. Citrus? A little, but also a very light kind of stone fruit. Is it floral? More or less, I think I smell something along the lines of thin violet, freesia, and a plant-y note that reminds me of decorative pansies and mums when hosewater hits them in the sun. It's a cool, transparent floral...but because of that, and because this brand is often lacking in the performance department, this ends up being very fleeting and hardly noticeable. It smells nice for 20 minutes or so, but fades quickly. And no...I truly don't believe I'm simply becoming anosmic to it, my kids don't notice it either. It's pleasant, but I'd have a hard time repurchasing because of these reasons. I'm treating it as a body splash. It smells like cold, clean air. I also agree with the poster below me about it feeling "holographic". The good news is that it's refreshing without resorting to aquatic features, and it's great for this time of year and throughout summer! Its affordable as heck and you can apply liberally. It's also extremely inoffensive.

I smelled this and immediately thought of a children's book with perfume in it, but I couldn't remember the name. What are the odds that I come on here and another reviewer also made that incredibly niche connection. Thanks @vpace91 it was Pat the Bunny! That's crazy lol. Objectively this is not a great scent. Very synthetic, floral. It has a nostalgia factor for me though. This is my childhood house smell.

I have a rollerball version (gifted). Gives off strong synthetic flower (gardenia? orchid?). I dislike the scent straight out of the bottle but after applying to skin it fades in a much nicer way. Sort of smells like botanical garden greenhouses. All floral; no citrus to be found after application, and idk if I would describe it as fresh.

Maybe I made a mistake by getting the perfume stick instead of the spray, but it literally just smells like Play-doh to me. Longevity is also non-existent, which usually isn't the case for Pacifica fragrances, but I'm glad it's this one that performs poorly since I don't like the smell at all.

It smells very artifical and reminds me of something from my childhood that I can't quite put a finger on. Someone mentioned play-doh, but it's not that, it's... more like the headache-inducing flowers in the book "Pat the Bunny"... BEFORE they updated it to be more modern smelling. I know this really niche and probably not many people remember how the flowers in that book smelled... but this reminds me of it 🤣 Interesting, but wouldn't wear.

I’m not a huge fan of florals, but I thought I’d try something outside of my comfort zone. I’m backing those that smell gardenia and jasmine. That is also what I pick up. I don’t notice any citrus at all. Decent longevity and low/moderate silage. Coming from a non floral lover, it’s honestly pretty nice. I wouldn’t mind a rollerball if pacifica’s rollerballs weren’t so janky. It is pretty different from all my existing collection. Perhaps there’s a bottle of this in my future. Edit: my boyfriend gifted me a full bottle of this and I have been really enjoying it! I really and truly feel like you could really pull this perfume off for any occasion at any time of year. It’s versatile, simple, and beautiful. It’s nice to have something like that in your collection. Even at bed time, I’m very apprehensive about wearing fragrances to bed, but this one is fantastic. I look forward to future releases from Pacifica because I have enjoyed this perfume so much.

You gotta hand it to Pacifica for engineering a floral body slam of sillage that makes you go "whoa." A cheerful hug of gardenia hides a faint hint of something coconut, perhaps slightly Coppertone, an unidentifiable beachiness. I do not get citrus here, if anything it's more of an air scent. Not quite an ozone, maybe a slight mineral. I guess there could be lemon somewhere in there with the faintest hint of amber. There is something very happy about this scent. Following the sophisticated waxiness of the floral, there is an unexpectedness; something spicy, something fun, something young to behold. After testing this you'll probably be inclined to buy, but don't be fooled: what starts out as strong in the nose soon fades to soft on the skin. I think to get the most of the fragrance, best to buy the bottle and carry the rollerball with you for touchups.

Just got this. Very sweet. You'll never be able to discern notes and ingredients , BUT this made me happy when I sniffed it -- reminded me of a classic perfume from the past meets a new "niche" type thing. --------------------------------------------------------------------- But mainly this smells like they took a few others in the line and blended them together to make this. Still it's very nice !

I really like this. If you have ever smelled Pikaki Lei By Kuumba Made, or Royal Hawaiian Pikake Jasmine, it's very close to those 2. Realistic to me. Opens with a mix of gardenia and sweet tarts candy but starts to smell like toilet cleaner after a few hours. Love Pacifica and the sparkly moon packaging but this one's a flop for me.

I purchased the Moonray Bloom perfume in solid form. It has a very soft and comforting aroma. I wish it were a little strong though, it is very subtle.

Jasmine, gardenia, and a very lightly sweetened neroli. All notes equally stand out. Very floral. Pretty and fresh.
